Grettings from sweden! I also own a Volvo pickup its really common in sweden its like a car but you only need to bee 15 to drive it and its the same licens as moped but it can only go in 30km/h the type of the veichle is called (a traktor) if you Google it you Will get an idea:) btw to get it to go in 30km/h you take the gearbox from the Volvo amazon called m40 and put it bakwards behind the gearbox called m47, then you get the gearing to go 30km/h thats the rules how ever.mine is an Volvo 245 1993 d24 engine converted to d24 tic! Im already on my second engine swap/reabuild im gonna pick it up next week (b230fk) turbo verision of b230 but you already know that..great video and nice Painting!
Congratulations!! I've owned 28 Volvos, and own a 58 Chevrolet Cameo, and my friend Doug owns a 55 Oldsmobile converted to a pickup...so we are more qualified than most to appreciate all you did, GREAT JOB!!
In sweden every 15 year old kid is building their own volvo "trucks" as you call them, there is thousands of volvo 140,240,740,940s getting rebuilt to "trucks" but in sweden we call them (Volvo a traktor), just search on it on Google and you'll find hella lot pictures of cars looking exactly like yours did🤗
You should start a business of professional Ute conversions, becuase this is absolutely amazing, very well made conversion. I would totally buy this in a heart beat. Truly a beautiful work of art.
I hope you put some drain hole under the floor boards to let rain to drain. I would have also painted the hloe Trk Ned interior w/ the paint bed paint and coated the wood completely with the wood oil. You also need to add a stainless angle strip to the tail edge of your wood bed .
Awesome work! Found your videos because I was researching pickup conversions because I'm going to cut up my Mercedes W124 into one. This series has been really helpful in figuring out what I need to do. Thanks!
You killed it!!! Awesome build I love seeing people build what they want instead of settling for what everyone else has. Good job on an excellent way of life 👍🏼

Just search A-traktor and find out that this is not unique
GRM!! I've been a reader for over 20 years. If you didn't post this build on the GRM forum you should. Great job.
