El Cucuy vs Da Bronx, Conor vs Dustin II, are the 2 only must make fights at lightweight, unless you made Conor vs Justin and did Dustin vs Chandler but it's looking more like Conor vs Dustin II, so I think the best fight for Tony stylistically outside of Conor, but he's obviously taken off the list.
Chandler deserves a #5 ranked opponent, like when Gaethje fought Michael Johnson on a 1L streak, and I think he was 5 as well. That would make his 1st fight for Hooker by default, but things aren't so simple now. With RDA back at 155, I honestly could see the UFC doing RDA vs Chandler for his 1st fight. With the 2 fights I have booked, the top r fighters left (including RDA and Chandler) are in no order: Justin, Chandler, RDA, and Hooker. Really, you could put any of those 4 in a fight together and it'll be a good fight that's fresh and not a rematch.
Justin vs Hooker, RDA or Chandler is sure fire.

Chandler vs Hooker sounds good to me too. See, you can't go wrong with those options. So do Conor vs Dustin II and Tony vs Oliveira and those winners should fight for the vacant belt or Khabib should he decide to defend vs one of them, and in the meantime you can mix up the rest almost any way you want to. I didn't even mention Ferreira or Paul Felder in the mix with those other 4. Paul Felder vs Justin Gaethje sounds like pure 💣🧨💣🔥🔥 no doubt. LW is stacked right now
I remember his fights with Alvarez, thinking the amount of damage both absorbed would mean they would probably go downhill from there.

I thought I didn't really like Chandler that much, but after he won the Hooker fight I found that I was just really happy for him and glad his debut went really well. I guess I like Chandler now, at least he is a fun fighter to be a fan of!

I don't think people "hate" the guy. I think many people including myself are frustrated that the UFC rankings are so often completely disregarded - such as when he was being used as a "backup" for a championship fight without even having made his debut, let alone having a victory over a top 5 opponent.

@@Thragg__ Yeah, I feel an imense smugness coming from him when he speaks. It's hard to put my finger on but I just find him unlikeable. I do respect his skills though, and I think he might be able to make a name for himself in the division. But I don't see him winning or fighting for the title, but we're still yet to see him fight against a top guy in the UFC.
Decent fighter, but will get shown up vs the likes of Poirier, Tony, Connor and even Hooker. I think he can beat Gaethje though.

One of the reasons I think Chandler is so successful is the fact that he has such a short reach/inside fighter frame yet fights like a long fighter. Just watching him seems like it would be so unorthodox to deal with and defend. His ground game is all short range but man, he's strong as hell too.

Everyone doubting Chandler until he makes his first UFC debut and gets a co-main event on a huge fight card and knocks out one of the top contenders in the division in just the first round. I don’t think you know this but Chandler already became a champion in Bellator, and that makes him one of the best. All the best to him and he will be fighting his way to the UFC lightweight title.

Michael Chandler is going to make some big waves in the UFC. Those that know can't wait to see him fight, those that don't know hate on him. He has a gas tank to go 5 rounds with just about anyone, he has power in both hands, he can strike and grapple with the best and on top of that he seems like a decent guy.
