His fight IQ is what separates him from a lot of fighters, there’s people that can fight and know how to fight but then there’s people who know fighting, and Izzy knows fighting
izzy is going to be a fantastic coach
He's truly a specialist. Once he gets on that flow, he is unstoppable. Apart from that he has a very good long-range setups and he's not scared fighting in a brawl once the opponent is in his pocket because of his knees and clinch game like Muay thai.

I watched all of his 'King of the Ring' fights in NZ and back then, he was the most talented fighter around. Very humbled to see this man become a star. It is well deserved.

The Chinese also call him Black Dragon because when the Chinese signed him they were only using him as warm up fights to showcase how strong Chinese men are. Izzy didn’t let that happen and started taking out their top guys ultimately earning their respect. Izzy also said being famous in China prepared him for his fame in the UFC because Izzy would be recognized anywhere in China cuz he obviously doesn’t fit in lmao

Even if you had included that fight it wouldn't make much difference. A loss only makes a fighter stronger and improves his game. Best thing about adesanya is that he evolves after every fight and not 2 fights are same. Even in UFC he has fought every fight differently and looked better after each victory to the next. I have never seen any fighter evolve like adesanya.

Izzy's hands low style makes him more adaptable defensively to MMA than most kickboxers coz in kickboxing those big gloves are an important part of defense.

It was kickboxing, there are no takedowns. Fighting in the pocket opens you up to be taken down in the UFC hence the adjustment.
