Well, I managed three or four weeks with my new Xantia Activa before the inevitable happened! For the record, I'm not unhappy with it at all. In fact, I'm actually still really pleased with it, as when I got it I knew it'd need lots of work, but I threw it into service anyway and it kept limping around in a broken state without an issue.
That is until now, of course. This wasn't even part of the original joblist, either...

When you began by so confidently (and accurately) predicting that of the three possible sizes of pipes, it would be the one you didn't have, I had a cultural realisation. Although I haven't lived in England for more than 50 years, I heard my own habitual pessimism, and knew where it came from. This explains a great deal about what it means to be an England cricket supporter; and why you could turn the footage you shot with the microphone off into the cinematic high point of the video.

Wow ,that is a leak , I had one HP leak on one off the loops in the back of the engine of my 89' BX TRD Turbo when a UFO passed under the car on the highway and nick it . but your leak is far worse , it's a sprayer :3 . I had to repair the tube with silver and a torch ...

Same scenario as mine, good to see. At least it'll spur me on to fix her maybe. Been standing some 8 years now but I've just managed to push her 12 ft up the drive after watching this so at least the brakes aren't stuck on. C'mon get a move on! I'm waiting ....

I'm pretty sure both pipes to the regulator go to the anti sink valve, which (on a LHD car at least) is somewhere just beneath the LHM reservoir. You don't need a ramp to replace them, because I don't think you can reach them from underneath. You will have to take out the air filter box, battery including the battery tray and the LHM reservoir, but access to both ends of the pipes will be fairly decent then. Getting one out is a pig though. I had to cut mine in three pieces to get it out easily.
Or you could just cheat your way around it by getting a '99 or '00 regulator, which only needs one supply pipe. On your car it needs one for the suspension and one specifically to open the valve for the hydractive sphere. I think it's slightly easier to just replace the pipe though

Years ago I bought an Allegro with a hole in one of the Hydrogas pipes. I cut out the bit, joined it with some rubber hose and doubled up jubilee clips. I took it for a pump up then, tongue in cheek for an MoT. It passed!

I had the issue a few years back because of the Citroën mechanic, he pulls the hose part of the steering wheel supply pipe and... ta-daa :) Actually at the exact same spot like yours, at mine there was already a copper welding patch(former owner issues), that gives up when the mech pulls the whole pipe down. If you have the necessary materials for copper welding, you can probably fix it in 15-20 minutes (I am writing the comment by pausing the video at 42 seconds, holy number 👍 ). I was not that lucky, the Citroën service did not have the necessary tools for welding, and I escaped from that place by tightening that pipe as much as possible with several layers of fuel hose and 6 metal clamps.
It was quite fun(!) that LHM leakage was not a big problem as long as I did not turn the steering wheel, but the "Stop+(!)" warning came on at the first turn.

Great to see the suspension lift your mood whilst trying to lower / level itself!
I hope you can get it back to working - it looks to me like it has all the makings of a decent daily driver.
Though my opinion might be suboptimal as, despite your advice, I'm still trying to keep a low mileage 55 plate Renault Scenic with rust rear sub frame, dodgy electrics and a 13.5 year old cambelt on the road ... whilst saving for a new cambelt my next 'small fix' will be to replace the wipers - I'm reliably informed that is the most critical part of a car (and almost certainly why Hilda is giving you grief) 😂😮😂
