These videos are meant to be educational and funny, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
0:00 Intro.
0:05 Fortunately nobody was injured. They are not sure what's happening with the vehicle as this just happened.
0:15 Rock making noise in the center console.
0:28 "O2 spacer extends the gap between the o2 sensor and the exhaust gases, with an increased gap, it will provide a lower Co2 reading." I've usually only seen 1 or two installed but never 6. Unfortunately, the customer needs a new catalytic converter as there is emissions testing in the state he lives in, and it needs to pass before he can drive his car.
0:42 Hopefully the customer gets the heat working in their vehicle soon as it's pretty dangerous to be driving around like this.
0:59 A used rear differential was installed. This must have made quite a bit of noise for a while!
1:11 Internal issue with CVT (continuously variable transmission).
1:26 Leaking jerry can in the trunk.
1:36 No extra info.
1:45 Technician didn't mention what caused this to happen but we've seen this in an older video where the steering shaft was broken which caused this to happen.
1:49 No extra info.
2:00 Customer received a quote for needed bodywork. No repairs done at this time.
2:14 The vehicle is using for towing, so hopefully the customer gets new tires and the correct received installed as that one is just held in place with c-clamps.
2:25 A new outer tie rod end was installed, and alignment was performed.
2:34 Missing battery, relays, fuses, air intake system, broken connectors, missing trim pieces and a whole lot more. The customer didn't want any other work, and just new keys programmed, which they could not do.
2:45 "A new screen was installed."
2:53 This RAM did not dodge these vehicles at this Nissan dealership. Nobody was injured.
2:59 Outro. Thanks for watching! - Auta a dopravní prostředky

The seat screen upside down is for the Australian market.

Hello from Australia , very funny
Welding a scissor jack to the frame... Thats a new one, For sure.
Thay will be easy to change a tire and is quick
@OverTheHorizon840 I've actually thought about putting a scissor jack at each corner of a cheap race car. Wouldn't add much weight, and you could use an impact to raise the car quickly for inspection and repair. Think of it as a cheap version of the built-in in jacks on high dollar race cars.
Plus you could use them as a theft deterrent. Can't drive away if the tires are barely on the ground 😅
I've actually seen that before on this channel, but not for dent.
Be glad it’s not spray foam, lol
I actually facepalmed when I saw that

Yeah I'd rather spend $5000 on attempted repairs before resorting to something like this
Dudes gona pass out from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Give the guy a break! It was cold!😂🤣
And now you know why we have to have those special valves on the propane tanks that sometimes don't work correctly if you open them too quickly. Seems to me that an inverter, a fused line to the battery, and one of those $8 Walmart 350-400W heaters would've been much easier.

The upside down display wasn’t the owner’s fault.
my thoughts EXACTLY
Yeah. I would expect if your brake calipers are held on with vice grips or something, the repair man could just take it off the road.
There were a few stories in here where he said the car was taken off the road. But not as many as you would hope/expect.
As bad as it is here, at least the roads aren't as bad as some countries like most of Africa, India, Bangladesh etc. Except they don't have highways in those places. Not that I've seen. Anyways.
And Indian traffic is so loud! They really like to lay on the horn for any reason. I even once saw a shop in Bombay that sold nothing but car horns. Just a little mom and pop shop in one of the market districts. But they had thousands of car horns.
I guess they use their horn so much that they wear it out somehow? Lol I have no idea. India's a weird and funny country.

The gas can brought back a memory. 20+ years ago, visiting my husband’s parents, we borrowed his mom’s little wagon (like a Subaru or something) to do some sightseeing and run a few errands. We’d noticed a gasoline smell when they drove us in from the airport. It seemed stronger and we were worried, and were going to insist they take it to a mechanic and get that checked out. We discovered the source of the smell when we put our shopping bags in the back: my MIL, bless her heart (and I mean that in the most gritted-teeth, “you idiot” way that phrase can be spoken) was driving around with not one, but TWO full 5 gallon plastic gas cans in the back. On top of that, they didn’t have the lids on-they had the SPOUTS attached, covered with a bit of aluminum foil. We looked at each other, drove straight back to the house very carefully, and marched straight inside to ask why on earth she was doing this. You know the moment when you have to parent your parents? This was my husband’s.
“I might run out of gas.”
“You live in a major city. There’s a gas station every few miles.” My mother worried about running out of gas too. Her solution was to fill up the tank every time it hit the halfway mark, so I suggested that. And why was my FIL letting her do it? Because he found it easier to let her just do her thing. We removed the gas cans and hunted around in the garage for the lids. She probably put the damned things back in as soon as we left, but we tried.
My in-laws were well-educated, intelligent, successful people. They just didn’t have an iota of common sense. My husband’s the only one in his family with it, tbh.
Damn...
This is just proof that no matter how well educated you are that education didn't include a course in common sense.
With all due respect, but this absolutely makes me reconsider the level of intelligence of well/high-educated, intelligent and successful people in the US(?)…
@@jjvdk90 Intelligence, education, success, and common sense are all separate things that we expect to be closely related but in the real world it's impressive how much they aren't. Whatever is keeping that cleat attached is very well installed though. I'm amazing it wasn't ripped off the mounting.
It's actually genius - as tyre tread naturally wears down, the cleat cuts new tread for you!
The axle worn through the axle tube is impressive, that it drives at all.
It’s even wearing into the aftermarket lift block under the leaf spring.🤣
Every time I see a spinning steering wheel, I can't help but chuckle.
It was a haunted car.
how people think it's safe to drive a car that doesn't have the steering wheel physically connected to the steering is beyond me.
@@JTV84, I've driven tractors with pure hydraulic steering, nothing but orbital valves and hydraulic hoses/fluid. Still WAY safer than that mess there.
@@JTV84It's extremely uncommon for that to actually be the design (apparently a few Infiniti models had it, though with a backup steering shaft that engages if any part of the system fails, and other than that the only current consumer production model to do it is the Tesla Cybertruck), and that car looks old enough that it wouldn't be anyway. My guess is that it has electric power steering with the motor up near the steering wheel (instead of down on the steering rack, both ways are common), and the steering shaft broke which made the motor keep turning to try to move the wheels.

I am a electrician who does a lot of service work. Got a call for a non-functional oven in a house. Get there and find the outlet and cord are totally burned up. Turns out that when the homeowner was cold while in the kitchen they would turn on the oven to 500 degrees and leave the door open for hours at a time. Before leaving I told them they shouldn't do that anymore, something I really shouldn't have to tell a grown ass adult. Good to see that mechanics have to deal with the same level of stupidity.

$100 pre-purchase inspection is better
@@iamtheoffenderofall Agreed. Unless you are buying from a seller that you know and trust, then get an inspection.
I find the secret to buying a used vehicle is to buy the cheapest one available. The seller usually over-estimates how bad a problem is and isn't likely going to have spent any money trying to cover it up. Its when you buy a car in the 2.5-7k price range that you get surprises. Pretty simple, the guy who installed it put his glasses on upside down that morning!😅
It wasn't installed upside down, you can see that the touch screen works as if it is right side up, but just the display is upside down.
This is an issue with the manufacturing of the display unit, the LCD and touch screen are different layers and they're put on top of each other the wrong way around.

I love how there's always photos of nice cars to wash our eyes with at the end
That first clip is scary. There was a campaign in the UK a few years ago to get that kind of gate - sometimes called a "swing barrier" - banned because people were getting killed by them when they weren't secured properly. There was an incident of a man being killed by one while driving into a supermarket car park with his wife and kids in the car. They're a stupid and dangerous design, they just need a vertical part on both ends (like a proper gate) so a car hitting it would just push it back the other way, rather than a metal pole coming into the car and skewering the occupants.
Don't knock the spray paint. 45 years ago, i was 16 and got my first w2 job as a wash boy at a car dealer. They then trained me to recondition used cars. This usually involved buffing, polishing and scrubbing interiors. If the carpet was too bad, they taught me to spray paint the carpet black.
