Why weren’t we told what kind of sandwich it was? That information is pivotal in assessing the situation!
Prawn sandwiches, according to Keane !😂
Not sure what the official was eating but Wilder was certainly eating sour grapes.
U havent got it...puhhh
Club sandwich. 🥪😄
😂
Keown talking about professionalism whilst on his phone.
I was just about to comment this 🎯
Ironic that Martin went straight on his phone after backing Wilder
Oh god Martin. Give me strength
Wilder referred to himself as a premier league manager?🤣Come on lad
Does he manage sheff united? Are sheff united in the premier leauge?
Not for long, mate.
Keown doing his colouring-in homework...
😂😂😂😂
I think Chris Wilder needs to chill, he's barely a PL manager and the fact the guy he wasn't even talking to was eating a sandwich has absolutely nothing to do with how bad Sheffield United have been.
Yea he do sound pretty stupid for pointing out he is a PL manager which aint gonna be for much longer lol.
Keown, obviously not understanding the question posed. He also needs to check his phone to give his "expert" opinion.
What was on the sandwich?
Got to be a prawn sandwich 😂🦐🍤
Wilder is talking absolute garbage and Keown really is a prat. Villa should've been awarded 3 penalties against Sheffield United. He was seen saying "How much do I owe you" at the end of the game to Anthony Taylor. I hope Villa hammer them at the weekend to see how many excuses Wilder makes!!.
Can you prove he said that you walloper. As for 3 penalties really...theres bias and bias, maybe one pen but 3 ffs. If you were down at the bottom you would see that the FA gives referees who have never had a game in the prem a game at Sheff utd, luton or burnley because if they get a decision wrong no one cares....he is correct. We are dog awful i get that but he is correct oh and im a referee and have reffed 25 years. When the manager comes in after you dont eat a sandwich.
@@mrmagoo7524Can you prove what you've just said about these referees who've never been given a game before in the premier league refereeing us, Luton or Burnley and making poor decisions that no one cares about? Stop talking rubbish mate. I'm a Blades fan and this constant victim mindset is a joke. Refereeing and Var were a farce in the villa game. I was there and we fluked a result. People saying we deserved to win that game are being so disrespectful to villa as they battered us. We couldn't string two passes together up until a 10 minute spell when the subs came on. If one of our players had been pushed over the way Watkins was by Souza our delusional fans would've been crying for months about it not been given as a penalty. Baldock diving against Wolves that all neutrals have agreed wasn't the right decision to give a penalty and then both decisions at the end of the west ham game that went our way were wrong which all neutrals agreed on. Wilder sycophants have got the blinkers on
@@sammybeck4855 you are not a blade, im calling you a liar. Ref no pens, VAR no pens...yes they battered the blades, my team not yours. that was not a foul on wes either so got lucky with that but none were pens. First referee never reffed a prem game...easy Sam Allison, guess what...Rebecca welsh first prem game fulham v burnley. If I go back when we were last in the prem, there will be others. OMG Jarred Gillet the OZ referee I have never seen such big team bias V man city, even blatant corners to us giving goal kicks, a shocking free kick to us, given the other way. You wont remember, you not being there. Wilder sycophant, you massive man baby. Hes the best we were gonna get after PH. I loved him first time in the prem, now he has to prove himself all over again...
@@mrmagoo7524I've been going since 2010 when I was 6 so don't question my loyalty to the team when half our "fans" at games now weren't even going to matches when I started going. So because I try and be neutral and fair and don't just make out we're the victims all the time that means I'm not a supporter. I turn up on time and stay till the end no matter what the score and always have and always will do unlike thousands of these tossers who leave 15 minutes early even when we've put 4 past teams in the last few years. It's embarrassing. Not even 15k turned up on average under Wilson and the play off attendance against Yeovil was a joke. They're the ones you should be slating who only crawl out of the woodwork once we went back up to the championship. Was there for the dross under Adkins and the relegation early on in 2011. Been to Wembley for Huddersfield, Hull and City which was a shite turnout in April. I was at both City games this season and we were lucky it was only 2-1 and then at their place was laughable. We got beat fair and square. Fulham aren't a big side anyway and what was the controversy in their match with Burnley? I'll wait for you to answer even though I know you can't and that game has nothing to do with us so why bring it up? Our game on boxing day there was nothing wrong with the refereeing performance. Wilder like Heckingbottom will do well for us at a certain level then they'll always get found out in the premier league. Individual brilliance from Ndiaye, the partnership with McBurnie and Doyle and McAtee got us up last season. He nearly cost us promotion by persisting with Fleck and Norwood in midfield when neither of them can run and Luton started to close the gap to us. If it weren't for Doyle and Mcatee coming in to the side for the cup quarter final and kickstarting our season again we'd have blown automatic promotion. Then this season long ball for four months up to a midget up front worked well didn't it. Both of them are no good at this level
They did 😅
Didn't know it was a bad thing to eat a sandwich as a linesman or fourth official after the game's ended and you're winding down. Clutching at straws.

But man there was a premier league manager in the room you know? Talking even! How can he just remain seated and carry on eating his sandwich when he should be on his knees? Or bowing would be acceptable I suppose... Saluting at the very least!
I mean there are soldiers holding out until they faint while mere royals make speeches you know? This is a premier league manager we're talking about here! What an outrage.
Simon spot on as usual. He's the best manager I've ever seen at United but the finger pointing has started already again from Wilder. How long before he walks out on us again? It's been someone else's fault for the last three years with him and you wonder why he's failed wherever he's been after one good season in the premier league where he was happy to take all the plaudits then when it started to go wrong you saw the arrogance of the bloke. The wilder sycophants are an embarrassment. We should be grateful that poor decisions that have gone our way have helped us to be on double figures for points so far this season as if it wasn't for poor refereeing and var we'd have lost at Villa after getting battered all game, wouldn't have beaten Wolves if it weren't for Baldock diving and then the farce against West ham gifted us a point at the death. All neutrals have slated the decisions in the Wolves and west ham games.

Chris Wilder doing a David Brent again
I prefer the stuff you do about his little hand.
I don't agree with that in a workplace!
Can imagine wilder doing that thing with the magazine where he got manager of the month in 2006. Pretending to throw it in the bin.
Ooh that's embarrassing. Get manager of the month, and pull a stupid face
Actually the original line, "Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me..." was first used by Dick Bentley on the radio show, 'Take it from here'. But the most famous use was from Kenneth Williams in 'Carry on Cleo'. Some years later the line was again used, this time by Frankie Howerd in the tv series 'Up Pompei'.
I'm a bit embarrassed I know this sort of trivia tbh.
Even Ross Geller wasnt this mad about somebody eating a sandwich
Clearly unhappy he wasn't offered a bite of that sandwich
Bow your head when Wilder walks into the room ... I think that the little piggy was angry because he wasn't offered a bite

So if he felt that the moon was made of green cheese, Martin Keown would support him saying it.
Jordan is right, anyone can voice an opinion but let's have some substance behind it.
Referees have been overprotected, say anything or critique them U get a ban. The standard of refereeing has been at all time low this season

With every word that falls from Martin’s rear end, my respect for him gets less!
Wilder should have sang the chip butty song as the ref was eating.
Keown is the wettest of wet lettuces going
That doesn’t even mean anything
what for giving a different perspective?, grow up
As a blade I think wilder has realised it's too late for this season. He's possibly going at the end of it. I used to like him but his transfers were awful. Brewster is the worst example. I'd have Warnock back next year. And we need 4 defenders.
bloke is a total knob..did a great originally at sheff utd then blew about 70m on total dross..got found out. stuck to same tactics week in week out..went to us at the boro..did the same..started really well..soon as we started to fall away..he blames everything and everyone...heckingbottom was never going to keep them up..probably no one would...but to sack him for wilder. baffling..he will be gone by may.
Why is Keown looking at his phone....He is discussing respect and giving full concentration and how it is important to pay respect to the people you interact with, while at the same time He is constantly looking at his phone. The very definition of ironic.
He's a muppet. Wont be long before he's sacked twice from the same club. And as for Keown...Been stealing a living for years.
He wasn’t sacked, facts first before writing.
Why is keown got his mobile in his hand, is he reading his lines 😂

@@dannytallmage2971 To be honest I think it's just the Oxford accent and element of poise. But everything he says is just braindead
The irony of Wilder accusing someone of a lack of professionalism, is not lost on Boro fans. He will be trying to get a job elsewhere soon.
People in football are always harping on about "respect". Those people generally have no respect whatsoever for anyone outside their own bubble. Individuals prioritize respect when it aligns with their interests or perceptions.
And managers show no respect to the officials during and after the game, without whom there would be no football. There will be football however if Chris Wilder didn't exist
Simon jordan summed it up when he said : so what ..re wilder on the sandwich comment ..wilder is a very arrogant individual and in my opinion my team will go backwards while he remains as manager
He makes a fair point. Under Fergie man u got all the decisions, they were getting fergie time long before it became a thing. When Benitez decided to do his Fact spreadsheet.... all Fergies mates turned on him. Wilder has a point and VAR was supposed to make things even.
What has Wilder done to get the respect of Fergie, Benitez, Mourinho, Wenger or Pep?
I swear Keown is just being opposite for the sake of it
Errrrr do you think so Einstein?? Have you heard TalkSport before?
Don’t think Wilder will be a Premier League Manager for long, then the referee assistants can eat their sandwich 😂
Big teams have always been given the benefit of the doubt by referees over smaller clubs.
The idea that a grown-up PL manager has essentially thrown his toys out of the pram over a referee eating a sandwich after a game is absolutely ridiculous (and hilarious).
He's basically deflecting away from his team losing, looking for a scapegoat in the referees and going down the route of a conspiracy in implying that referees are somehow biased against him.
Chris Wilder is an entitled brat
How is Martin known a pundit...
Respect is earned and biting a sandwich when someone whose presence is not required enters the room has no relevance. I suggest Wilder enjoys a slice of humble pie.
Same script. No one else is allowed to have a rant.
Walking contradiction
Here's to hoping! I was hoping Wilder would return as a more mature and wiser manager than when he left. I was also hoping he'd learned new skills as a manager. I hope that I'm not hoping too much, but based on how he still antagonises officials and how he set up the team against Villa I'm not in the least hopeful we'll reach the 23 points we achieved the last time we were relegated.
The linesman was definitely unprofessional with his behaviour. He should of had a Greggs sausage roll.
Managers do this all the time its a very good ploy to deflect the heat off them
Martin Keown is one of the most delusional pundits around. I find that everything he says is ludicrous and most of the time he has no evidence to back up the utter tripe he spouts. Thank god for Simon Jordan for putting him in his place again.
There was no disrespect and ridiculous rant. Saying they should be standing in attention talking to a premiership manager is like as if he is some sort of Authority. Wilder is a basic Manager at best and he is not going to be Premier league manager for long.
He wasn't complaining about the refs when they robbed west ham
The game at our place, Villa Park, a Sheffield United defender batted the ball with a bicep and the penalty wasn’t given… wilder was happy with that
Derby County have the lowest total, sadly for them, 11 points in 2007-08.
West ham were robbed against them last week 😂
Bottom line Sheffield United, Are Going To Get Relagated 😅
Smaller teams get more 50/50 decisions in between both boxes. Big teams get more in the box
Chris Wilder is stealing a living.
The ego and arrogance of Wilder hasn't been diminished by his failures at Boro and Watford then. I wish I had a teaspoon of his delusional self confidence 😂
That's too much logic you're coming out with there mate. Something the wilder sycophants never use when arguing about stuff. Can see why the Boro board and fans got fed up with him quite quickly. He's our best ever manager but he can do wrong to some mate. The club's blinded by sentiment
he started well with us. at the boro..but then started moaning over everything soon as started to fall away..as well as thinking he was going to get the burnley job...bloke is toxic ...i thought sheff utd under warnock were far better...at least they had a go

Wilder made it a sideshow by mentioning the sandwich.
Wilder is a tosser. He defended the appalling decision in the game against West Ham.
Is Martin keown an Arsenal invincible, they should have said
Martin Keown could speak forever and all that will come out is garbage.
Wilder has a short memory. He got a soft penalty against West Ham which could easily have been flagged as a foul on the keeper. Then VAR didn't even check the challenge on Bowen in the box immediately after they equalised. Decisions tend to even themselves out over the season..........and Keown is a deliberately antagonistic twat.
That’s one incident to go his way. Dozens have gone against, so where’s the balance?
@@Phuqarf It's the same for every team. He may feel like the all the officials are against him, but so does every manager. They are sitting bottom on 10 points and that's not due to decisions going against them. Hopefully he can use the 'perceived' injustices to galvanise his team and starting picking up some points, but that's all they are, perceived.
@@PhuqarfWhat are these dozens of decisions that have gone against us this season? Give me a valid example of something really big like a penalty we didn't get that should've been given or a goal that should've stood that we score that was ruled out that all neutral pundits agreed was a poor decision? You can't give an example because there are none
@@Phuqarf "Dozens have gone against"
Which ones exactly? The Villa game where Anthony Taylor was baying for Sheffield United to win? What about the Wolves game where Sheffied United got an injury tme winner after a gust of wind fouled their player in the box? What decisions are you talking about?
@@rosscleary9110No point using common sense with this lot Ross. They'll still never accept it even though you're right
The record low, I believe, was Derby County on 11 points all season.😂 I'm pretty sure Sheffield will get a couple more points so they can keep that milestone.....
The fact that the referees aren't interviewed the moment they leave the pitch, the same as managers and players and asked to explain their actions will mean that the quality of refereeing in England will continue to be a joke. You don't need a referee any more, just a figure to wait until they're told what to do by VAR in their ear.
You'd never want to listen to referees after they've had a good performance so it'd just be more delusional biased bitter views from supporters whatever they give. They can't win either way as they'll still get slaughtered even if they've made the correct children as too many fans are emotional cavemen
I went to the Palace game and nothing in the game was contested by Wilder. Very bizarre to hear this comment from him as it didn't match what was on the pitch.
Was it shop bought or did his mum make it and have it cut into triangles 😂
Every PL team and fans think theres a referee or VAR bias against them.
No the problem is that referees are poor, VAR is unreliable and for me it is spoiling the game, you can no longer celebrate a goal. These decisions will lose men their jobs, cost teams winning competitions, cost teams competing in Europe. Very sad to see our game being ruined.
If the sandwhich was cheese savory that's bang out of order.

If you support a yo-yo club near the bottom of the league, you know exactly what Wilder is talking about. I wouldn’t expect a Man U/Liverpool/Arsenal etc fan to understand. The PL is more entertainment than sport these days, like WWE. The lower teams are just their to make up the numbers in their eyes.
teams like shef etc literally are there just to make up the numbers though.....as in they ain't playing good football or staying around long enough to be called a top side, they are defacto whipping boys.
What a load of rubbish. Sheffield United got their 1st win of the season with a pathetic dive against Wolves. They then get a draw at Villa park after being allowed to assault Villa players in the box. Should be 4 points worse off the useless undeserving cretins.
@@rosscleary9110west ham too. I'm a Sheffield United fan and I've no idea how we can dig official's out over mythical poor decisions when every big decision in a game involving us this season has gone our way.
