AlfaOBD is a vehicle diagnostic software manufactured by the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) group. Supported Fiat / Alfa Romeo / Lancia vehicles and Chrysler / Dodge / Ram / Jeep vehicles from 2004-2017. While the software is primarily aimed at car owners, it provides many of the functions of professional scanners.
AlfaOBD natively supports electronic control units (ECU) installed on vehicles of the FCA group. AlfaOBD's built-in support differs from many other diagnostic applications that provide generic OBD II support, which only provides access to engine and transmission modules.
- Monitoring of various dynamic parameters of the body, dashboard, code, engine, gearbox, ABS, climate control, etc. and graphical presentation in the form of adjustable graphs;
- Read static data: ECU ID, system status, error codes with probable causes and environmental information where applicable
clearing fault codes, monitoring the system for new faults;
- Active diagnostic and tuning procedures for various equipment controlled by the engine, transmission, body computer, climate control, ABS, airbag, code control and other ECUs. Service light reset, engine oil change, DPF regeneration and more;
- Programming the electronic key and radio frequency remote control
