Our 27th game in 27 weeks and after being 27 points down at 3/4 time the week before,we won this one by 27 points. Our Captain that year was Keith Greig,who wore 27,but he sadly did an ACL at the start of the season and Denchy led that awesome team to the Premiership. Keith Greig polled 27 votes in each of his Brownlow years of 73-74 and we won our first Premiership in September 1975. On Saturday the 27th.

Compared to grand finals from even a few years before this is a much faster game. Players were looking to play on a lot more and use handball to keep the ball moving. Both teams trying to set up a loose man. A lot of classic 1-on-1 contests and the torpedo punt was still popular. A great era of football.
