  • This highly emotional documentary of the 1966 Grand Final captures the incredible life stories of that famous day including rarely seen footage of the time, including the late Darrel Baldock emotionally recounting his day as the St.Kilda Captain. Combined with the fire of Allan Jeans’ audio at 3/4r time this is truly a must-watch.

@MU FC soccer is the worst sport in the world. It’s not number 1 in Australia, Japan, Philippines, New Zealand, Ireland, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, USA, Canada, Cuba. The A-league is almost bankrupt as no one goes or even watches it because of the more popular sports Australian rules and rugby league. Although not number one in wild or nsw, it’s still MASSIVE in those states.

My club South Adelaide in the SANFL haven't won the flag since 1964 and that's in a 10 team comp. St Kilda are not the only cursed club. South also build your hope up by actually being a decent team during most seasons but always crush it at the end. I hope both South and St kilda win the flag soon.

Congrats to the saints for 66 !
Irony of ironies is that since 64 Collingwood went on to win two GFs.... Melbourne win one a couple of years back after doing very little for a half a century makes the Pie efforts seem all in vain !!!!!!

Had the team to win one in the early 90s too with Plugger, Winmar, Burke, Frawley and co, then 1997 was a lost opportunity, and then should have won in 2004 when they were top most of the season then lost momentum at the end by losing four of the last six and having to play two finals interstate (against the eventual grand finalists). Have no doubt they would have won a flag under the leadership of Grant Thomas. Typical Saints board snatching defeat from the jaws of victory
