I was at all those games. The 2nd Semi was so exciting cos that's when the shock hit us that we were likely to win the flag. I remember being dumbfounded in glee! . . not only were we back in a Grand Final again, but red hot favourites.
Would have been but the ASADA/WADA crap destroyed that. We all know the reason why the players did not perform this season. They were mentally stuffed by the WADA appeal not that Hird could not coach. Considering what he and the team put up with over the last few years it wasn't bad. Not even Hawthorn's coach Clarkson could have done better this season. The end result would have been the same. Total disaster.
