- The Colorado Rockies are stuck in a bad spot. In a division they've never won in their 30 year history and it's not getting any easier. The Dodgers have Shohei and others with an endless payroll, the Diamondbacks just won the NL and have a young team only getting better, and the Padres have major star power themselves.
So it's time to try something completely new to try and overcome these odds: A Draft Only Rebuild.
A staple of the channel, the Draft Only Rebuild challenges us to build the team up using only the Rookie and Rule 5 drafts after we tear down the ENTIRE 40 man roster after the first season.
One major twist added for this year: Trades. I am allowing 3 trades in this series, but only for prospects, and only for one prospect per trade. So we will need to time them right and make sure they hit to ensure we don't waste them.

It's growing at a great pace! I had less than 500 when I was doing content with MLB the Show 23.
I previously made a comment about stats from a specific game. And this just happened to be the Dollander game that you talked about the channel over the top of which was great and I totally understood that. I was just more interested in seeing who was getting hits, driving and runs in that specific game that we watched. Anyway I appreciate the channel.

I know this was not part of the video, but I was just thinking prospects while scouting them multiple times with good scouts and they come back with 84-99 potential range. I saw always meant the player had 95+ potential like james and it is also the generation prospects potential range so if they are 21 or younger with decent overall I always draft them I wanted to know have you noticed that

Having a max of 99 (and even 98) has lead to some really good players in the draft for me. Something to keep in mind for sure going forward.

@@fiendfranchise Fred Lynn did both as a rookie in 1975 with Boston, but he was 23, not 20... and he didnt pitch.
USC but not that USC, S. Carolina has been around forever, gonna have some cool school specific animations, Clemson is a big Rival, have a hometown kid young on roster for QB, not special so storyline there if you recuit special young QB, after Rattler was drafted its wide open, been below avg at best other than the Spurrier/Clowney/Lattimore days for years, if they have Beamer as Coach he's also SC native which is neat, if not he hasn't been there long enough to hurt with a created coach, toughest competition in gameplay has got to be in the SEC
