  • A short, but action packed late season, morning deer hunt that included a "first" for me in 30+ yrs. of bowhunting!
The bow used for this hunt, in my last video "Kansas Triple Play", and a couple upcoming 2019 turkey hunts is the Timberghost Traditional Archery, 56" G3SS recurve! Can't say enough good about this phenomenal bow!

enjoyed the video again. well done Sir. That doe definitely ducked big time. guess that you are becoming very much in love with that bow now. I once watched a huge buck that had just lost it's antlers stiff legged and side walking up to a big bull in a pasture. His ears were layed back and all of that, I showed this to my son who was totally surprised as I was. I could just hear that buck saying "We Bad!" as he approached the bull. The bull just stared at him LOL

Late season deer are very aware of their surroundings....makes for some tough hunting...glad you enjoyed it!

Excellent footage and great shot,it’s difficult enough to get deer with traditional equipment but it’s a whole different thing getting great video like this. Congratulations and thanks for sharing your hunts with us.

Hey Kurt, not sure if you will see this. Curious what rrow setup you are running these days. Im thinking about going to a small diameter carbon over the goldtips ive been shooting for decades

David, I just use a regular 5/16th Beman carbon...nothing special at all bud. But they work!

great shots! 25 yards might just be slightly out of range, not for you but rather on a skittish, ducking deer. amazing work on the vocal call! gotta say, watching their death fight is harsh, real, but tough to watch something die. good job man!

I have the same sticks, those are Lone Wolf sticks. Novix makes ones just like them as well. Both made in USA

Good shooting! I killed a half rack buck this year too! His other side didn’t have a scab though, just a nub, I think he just never grew one. Great vids, thanks. Hope to make my channel like yours someday

Learn to hold , aim, & pull thru on that 1st shot. Anytime a shot is rushed without maintaining your Sequence the result is crap!

Although I appreciate the advice(what exactly is your backround and experience in trad bowhunting?.....if you watched the film in slo mo you'll see my shot was right on the money. Only reason she wasn't laying dead from a double lung shot is because she ducked, as shown in the video. I've been doing this a long time and this is the way I shoot. It's not for everyone, but it works very well for me.

Ok this I’ll be fun! I was trained from Len Cardinale over 30 yrs ago who was trained by Al Henderson. Before you idiots ever thought of Push Archery or the rest of the bull...t we knew how to shoot. You don’t hold @ all & have no idea how to properly shoot a bow. Your a touch @ go anchor shot & you got lucky. You have no idea how to properly shoot a bow! Look up Steven Morley also a good friend before you think you know what your talking about. Your form sucks balls you snapshoot!

For lessons today on Lens teachings which you need contact Rod Jenkins, Tom Clum, Jimmy Blackmon, etc. Furthermore watch who call out on CZcams. I shot pathetic like you when I was 10 yrs old! Get some Coaching you’ll be amazed @ your progress!

@@uncleremus5046 Awesome...another old internet expert! I'll pass on the the lessons bud and just keep shooting the way I do, filling my freezer, adding antlers to my walls, and adding to my collection of beards and spurs! I'd love to see videos of you shooting and killing stuff...

You do that scrub but next time be more humble. Your a snap shooter that’s all & have no idea how to execute a proper shot!
