Hello from America! I just want to say that although I have never played table football, I am really enjoying the videos on this channel, and I think it's great you're shining the spotlight on what looks to be a fun and amazing hobby!
I agree with you about the last goal of the 1970 world cup. It was so perfectly filmed, by total chance I suppose. The way Pele just rolls the ball into the path of Alberto, who is off screen, going like a steam train and let's a real thunderbolt fly to blast it into the net. Beautiful. I
I remember Shoot, but I was strictly a Goal kid. In fact, the three Goal covers you featured on this episode I haven't seen since possibly 1975. I did buy the Shoot issue when they were giving away the Football League ladder, but I remember wearing it out within a few weeks of purchasing it, as I was forever shuffling the teams in each division and having lucky dip relegation and promotion as I put each team in the ladder as I picked them out of my hand, starting with the bottom and working my way up the league. Luton Town bottom of the First Division in October 1959. My uncle George Cummins played for that team. He later got injured (cartlidge) and decided to hand-up-his boots.

What type of bases are the flat-bottomed subbuteo players you were testing on the striped-pegasus pitch? are they from subutteo parodi 2003? (the black boxes)

Memories .Shoot magazine used to have those league ladders. Agree with 1970 best world cup final.Also the first I really remember.🤔
