    Thanks you for sharing ; personnaly i love the Zuego flatbases : they are fantastic ; maybe you can not spin the players but as a rookie like me the game is more exciting and recreative with the flatbases. Your editing work is AMEZING ! Keep up the good good work with "Smiffey" and Daniel ; All the Best.

    Cracking video again, guys. Love that Anfield ‘89 recreation. For the record Thomas over Sergio any day. Mammoth score by Chris there, I’m quite happy to be second :-)

    Great show. Thanks for mentioning me during the Zeugo review. It certainly gives clarity on the difference between H/W & flat bases. I recently ordered two Zeugo teams and a Big Cat goalie to use at a club I’ve joined earlier this summer.
    Personally the Subbuteo H/Ws are the real deal. Putting technique and realism into an art form.
    Cheers to you all. Up the Blues!

    Hi great video again, really enjoyed the zeugo segment. Noticed you had Tipp kick been looking at getting that from Mieg in Germany. Looks a quick fun game...ok not a patch on Subbuteo I know.
    Have you come across the table football game Chapas in Spain.? A cross between futebol de botao in Brazil and Subbuteo but played with beer caps as players. Looking forward to the next episode already.
    Doing a top job..keep it going👍

      Hi Paul - familiar with Chapas but never seen the game played. Thanks for the kind comments - it means a lot. Keith

    I bought the All Star Super Striker back in the early 80's and I still have it! Just too hard and expensive to get new teams! I also used Airfix 1/32 fottball figures as extras on the pitch. Perhaps time to dig it all out again???

    Got back to subbuteo last year (I think it was🤔) and the first team I bought was zuego, for the flatbase, and I must say, zuego is fantastic.

    Would've needed those floodlights in early '74 during the three-day week.

    I know this will put me in the same league as the devil and Hitler but I should come clean,
    in answer to your "whatever you do it's still 5-a-side" Striker comment, well having collected 2 SuperStriker sets and a few loose players I play 11-a-side Newcastle V ManU (with a 'nearest to it' rule) on.. wait for it.. a Subbuteo pitch ('cos not zoned and larger) I KNOW, I'M DEAD

    • @TableTopYears
      @TableTopYears  Před 4 lety

      You and me both - Man Utd v Newcastle and the red and blues....still table football innit?

      @@TableTopYears Indeed it is, enjoying this stuff in your own little way is what matters, I actually meant to say 11-a-side Striker on a Chad Valley Big League table pitch as bigger and not zoned NOT Subbuteo but got meself muddled thinking how horrified some of your more purist viewers might be hehe but only in fun, it's so great to finally see a channel dedicated to table football, I've always periodically trawled youtube for a good feature on Striker but and here you are.. with plenty more besides too, subscribed
