In 2019, Williams did hide every single detail of their car by not showing up for testing in time. Cheeky.
That’s the best strategy
Such a slick move to hide a fast car... Oh wait.
Ultimate big brain 4d multiversal chess move by Williams right there
Damn man. that hurts
@@just_some_bigfoot_hacking_you ouch man if they see this they will be hurt🤣lmao
How many times did we see RB's biggest mechanics standing behind the car on the grid or in the garage before the race, like a row of bouncers? This hiding stuff has gone on since the second ever race I think! (I don't mean F1 race, I mean car race of any sort 😂)
Coincidence, is it?
Its that black guy lmao
That alfa test livery is probably one of the best looking liveries ever
What F1 teams hide for Car launch ?

Also red bull using the f1 show car would be pretty cheeky
I love the fact that they have people explaining the car and the design. as if it wasn’t clear that it wasn’t the real thing. 🤣🤣
well, ferrari's gonna have a push rod design by the looks of things atm
well, there is some leak of a SF-75 on F1 subreddit soooo
Yeah, think they’re using the usual push front/pull rear
Nah that's only for HAAS.
Nope, they just did a pull-rod during the launch.
@@kohikappu did u not pay attention to the video? 😂
The launches aren’t always trustworthy
Meanwhile Aston Martin: “ah screw it have a ton of renderings, the close shots of the actual car, and on top of that a few videos of the car on track”
Thanks for always keeping things in the casual perspective, while the others scramble on the details like a college professor would do
Pleb smh we want the deets

From McLaren renders we can see that the car will only be able to go in a straight line, there's no room between the wheels and the front wing for the car to be able to turn.
The problem was actually the rear wheels. They weren’t even aligned...
@@D_D_L They weren't? God damn, that's funny
Idk man it looks like there’s plenty of room. Even compared it the real Aston Martin, it looks completely fine to me.
@@skurd721 Check out the renders, specially the view from above.
@@andresilvasophisma ok I don’t know what’s going on there but from every other angle it’s completely fine
One of my favourite stories, I believe it was mclaren, got all of their mechanics to stand around the rear of the car trying to stop anyone looking at something 'hidden' at the back of the car. The reality was that there was nothing special on the rear and it was in fact something on the front that they were trying to hide! Classic F1 shit housing
we'd really like if you tell us more about the prosses of new car designing and the rules around it...
like what if 2 or more teams got the same idea or design? can they change any parts after revealing the actual car, where to run it, and for how long..what if they didn't reveal it before pre-season tests
since many of us experiencing the first BIG regs changes
It doesn’t matter if 2 or more teams come up with the same thing, there’s loads of things on cars that are the same example, pull rod suspension, vortex generators on wings, all you’ve to prove is that you understand it’s function, if you copy something and don’t understand it then it’s a blatant copy. Before the season starts all the teams submit their designs to the fia, for crash testing ie nose cones, then you need to spend tokens if you want to changes things majorly like front wing, suspension, engine designs, but little things like slots on the edge of the floor can be changed as they like. There’s not much point in speculation on designs atm as they’re liking hiding the good stuff, although astons high front wing means they’ll lose front wing performance so it might be harder to steer the car but there’ll be more air getting to the floor, so their car will be planted. McLaren has a low wing so it’ll use the air harder but will sacrifice floor performance although their suspension is push rod so they should be able to divert air down the the floor with that layout. Aston has slots for hot air to escape and stay attached to the body so it doesn’t interfere with the bean wing or main rear wing and maybe more cars will do something similar cause some panels on other cara looks photoshopped. There’s nothing we can speculate about red bull cause they just put their livery on the demo car that the fia had last yr.
Aston Martin on the filming day put a photoshoped square on the diffuser of the car and it was very noticable
Alfa Romeo is going camouflage i didn't even notice their car on CZcams.
Also, I'm right with you, never seen the Alfa, still looks sick tho
I am a new fan , started watching f1 in 2021. I learn a lot from this channel which makes the sport pretty interesting. Thank you
Dont forget that in i think 2011 red bull put stickers on where their exahsts were the year before to try and trick the other teams to not notice their new exhaust blown diffuser outlets
Not only during the launches, but during the season there is hidden stuff in the cars 😂
This year Williams (2022)?.. 😅 They show the livery car and few houres after they test with real car on the track... 😀
I just like the new liveries they reveal especially mclarens this year
We need to stop calling them car launches.
They are livery releases mostly.
0:36 🤣😂
oh god theyre teasing us! Just cant wait for the season to begin... OMG I'm so excited
Forgot about Red Bull putting an exhaust sticker on their car in 2011 to hide the exhaust blown diffuser
What about when RedBull first came up with the blown diffuser, and used fake exhaust stickers to try and hide it?
Red Bull Fi1 car reveal wasn't a car reveal (or even their livery TBH) but it was a sponsor reveal.
To me, hiding cars design right before season is just ridiculous. Nobody can change a lot on their cars it that short time without testing or CFD.
I mean, if you were to be a programmer, you wouldn't want to be hacked by the others, or didn't you?
It’s so other teams can copy their designs if they’re better
Can’t *
You guys literally make thousands of views within minutes of releasing.... great content👍🏼
Make views?
Don’t know about the great content bit. They didn’t even mention the RB of this year.
Racing point in 2020 (pink merc). Shows one car in presentation and totally different car for testing 😂😂
I think that Alfa livery is actually really cool
Mclaren Microsoft paint lol
I WANT TO SEE THE NEWEY CAR
Can we get this elite Chanel to 1 mil
Alfa Test livery actually looks better than from the season.
Well Ferrari (at least for their reveal car) have pushrod front suspension so it looks like the Haas render was a big double reverse-psychology move
One of my favorite anecdotes is about how McLaren had all of its technicians stand around the back of the car, attempting to keep people from looking at something 'hidden' there. The truth was that there was nothing exceptional on the back, and they were actually trying to hide something on the front! F1 shithouse in classic form
Almost at 1 Million subs WTF1
2020 Aston Martin, Racing point, Force India or whatever they call it, launched one car, but at pre season test it was a "Pink Mercedes"
Old timer here.
It was not a car launch, but the best thing an F1 team has used to hide a design was a trash can lid.
i was watching the amr22 launch it took over hour to show the car
Actual cars
Red Bull be like
Here's the show car
If you were a fan of F1 and the NFL, one season runs right into the next with just a few painful weeks off between the two, Try both and you will have enough to cover 90% of the year.
this time around alfa romeo actually seem to have proper camo livery
if car launch was included in budget restriction, haas were the 2022 world champion ^^
RB: everything
1:41 at this point it’s easy to believe that the Haas car is put together by glue
Love the f1 content during the off season it keeps me sane while waiting for the season
As informative these videos are and satisfactory to the wants of “fans”, these types of videos contribute to the reasoning behind added secrecy especially for lunches. When we can sit patiently instead arriving to the same conclusion we almost began with “what’s your opinion let us know in the comments below”?? What are we doing? It’s childish to me.
Fax. I may sound like a boomer(even though I’m 18), I don’t blame F1 teams for being very discreet about their cars. With how the internet is and how some people literally hunt for hours on anything because they can’t be patient. It’s sad tbh.
F1 teams should paint the cars Vanta Black to hide everything at the launch.
This is Mazepin`s car
They hiding extra set of wheels
To prevent spins on track 😂😂😂
You didn't mention red bulls stickers to look like exhaust outlets
One simple does not give time for rivals to reverse engineer your solution of problem.
Haas actually had a somewhat real car design, even Scarbs talks about it. I think you mean *cough* Red Bull and Williams *cough* who just plonked their livery on the F1 show car.
Williams did reveal their real car in a shakedown
They might edit stuff unprofessionally, so that people don't get disappointed thinking that the car looks... Weird? I guess? They may want some to notice. I am not sure whether that makes sense, I am a new fan. Sorry if I am saying stupid stuff.
Haas car launch was epic, loved the team presentation too
Who knows, maybe they’ve got themselves a monster car and will dominate the season…
@@mr.goodcat582 Mazepin Vs Latifi WDC title fight confirmed for 2022
But Ferrari did use Push rod suspension...
You call out HAAS for showing renders, but at least it is an actual design and not just an FIA show car *cough*redbull*cough*
I want my entire house covered in that Alfa livery.
All aboard…..all aboard the hype train!!!!
Must say Matt, you really do look great in bathrobe. Maybe you should try hitting on Sharl after all...?
People seem to get very worked up about this. Beats me why.
We'll all know what they've got and how fast it goes soon enough.
Lol, haas' suspension's comment aged like milk
If you can see it and there competitors could learn something benifitial to them. It's hidden.
How about Red Bull putting fake exhaust stickers on there car in 2010 to hide their exhaust blown diffuser idea. A bit weird considering their actual exhaust was right under the sticker...
I think they should not hide their cars in testing, or in race
Eagle eyes!
this channel reminds me little cesar pizza
Well what do they hide Matt?
im so excited to see the ferrari car launch
got leaked looks good
Interesting!
lol “photoshopped” Its a RENDER
so glad their are parts of the script randomly splattered on the screen , other wise i wouldnt be able to follow ....
alpha romeo done the same thing this year
Do you think McLaren’s cheeky diffuser last year was a dry run for this season?
3:24 Yes Mercedes CZcams channel and the walk around with Ted off Sky F1 was just propaganda….
Hass, Alfa Romeo, Williams, all hiding stuff? Really!? Who wants to copy a slow car.?
more the office memes
damn so haas team not have car only have grapick car box , hahahah
Haas reveal was so pathetic. Go a week early for extra publicity, then just don't release anything anyway. They might as well not have done one at all. And this is a team that supposedly funneled all of their resources into the new car, which is apparently still not finished. Just sell it to VW and piss off already.
Hass is the most funniest team out there
Well we are dealing with the same company's who put massive padded bras on their production cars so that Japanese don't copy the Germans an Chinese don't copy the Korean cars...I do get a chuckle when I drive up behind some new SUV an see some taillights that just look like what da fork are those they don't go with any body line at all an not even look good at all....I really hate copy cats
What is you favorite car for now
I like that Alfa testing livery, they should go with it for 2022. Put some ghost flames in there. 😁
1:02 just a roblox texture..... nothing else
Really? Only 2 real examples? I expected a little history lesson here. That was a bit dissapointing, even though the video itself was done well!
Longest month I've ever experienced CAP we all lived through 2020

Red Bull: Control + A

I really have this gut feeling that red bull will build a shit car this year.

The haas air intakes also look photoshopped in
Why would they photoshop a render that could easily be changed itself
