cody getting distracted by his cat made me way happier than it should’ve
I was surprised he has a cat. I thought he hated them.
i grinned so hard omg

I KNOW ITS SO CUTE

Kelsey is the most underrated musical artist of all time, why isn't she on all of TMG's songs
true
FINALLY ITS HERE
i know right... she should have been on Teenage Mutant Ganja band for years as a lead already...
this is genuinely one of my favourite videos you've made recently. i hope the view count (compared to your other recents) won't discourage you from doing more creative shit like this in the near future
Yes!
Agreed! loved this video!
def
agreed!!!!
yes!!!
its a shame this video isnt blowing up :( this is one of cody’s best videos in my opinion. DONT LET THIS STOP U FROM DOING COOL SHIT CODY
so true
As a guitarist with 12 years of experience i must say - this is honestly one of the best videos I've ever seen to actually encourage someone to try an instrument.
I recently picked up the bass guitar. Bass guitar definitely has a bigger learning curve than ukulele, but I absolutely love it and the video definitely helps me motivate myself to pick it up some more.
Yep!
Bass is basically just a big ukelele
It’s crazy he was already good at song writing but this was fire. I think he’s genuinely talented
@@micah_lee not even close ukuleles strings arnt tuned in order like a guitar or bass
It feels like we are in a new chapter of Cody Ko. Not the ukelele chapter, but the doing the things you want to do chapter. Keep it up!
he's entered his Jenna marbles era
I feel like that’s what all of CZcams is turning into and I love it
True true
Yes! And I would love more of this content from him ❤
It's incredible how Cody can be utterly ridiculous and yet earnest/genuine at the same time, it's so freaking endearing. This is one of my favorite videos he's ever done, I couldn't stop smiling!
You’re genuinely one of the most authentic, honest, hilarious and weirdly wholesome people on this site - you’ve got Labrador energy but if the Labrador purposefully shit in the guest’s expensive shoes but it’s too funny to feel bad about. This video was sooo good though man! As long as you stay true to yourself, even if some content is shit and some is incredible, you’ve got us all for life!
what an intensely bpd comment
@@sinch4044 thank you
Kelsey's singing ability is absolutely frictionless.

Took me a hot minute to watch this cause I’m not used to this kind of content from you- but I’m so glad I did!! Great vid 10/10 hope to see more like it
Sameeee
I didn’t know Cody had such a nice singing voice! He always says he can’t sing.
that song was honestly so heartwarmingly stupid and weirdly catchy and now I'm actually feeling somehow inspired to finally teach myself how to play piano on the keyboard I bought during quarantine and have only touched once.
Ahhhh I love this 🥰 I've played piano since middle school so seeing someone pursue it makes me happy. I hope you have fun and learn a song that makes you happy 😊
@@desio3616 thanks! I've actually already practiced 2 days in row so that's something. So far I haven't quit hahaha
i also bought one during quarantine and this made me wanna try it again!!
@@nicolealexis7520 LOVE that for us!!!!
Omg omg, I took one piano lesson EVER but I’ve played guitar my whole life. Learning how to play songs I love on the piano just using chords was sooo fun for me.
You inspired me to start making CZcams videos in the first place. This was unreal man. Thanks Cody!
Why do you make your videos about the same subjects and in the exact same style as Mike Boyd?
It's sad to see you're getting so much recognition for copying an original creator.
@@kaihocompany took the words out my mouth, kinda gross how similar the videos are and getting more recognition
That’s so cool😭🤍✨ full circle moment.
@@kaihocompany Mike Boyd has plenty of subscribers, let's calm down
Who invited the bloody pricks? No need to be rude just cause you’re jealous mates.
I honestly REALLY want you to release this song, cause it goes hard. Its good. And i wanna have it on repeat for hours on end.
Agreed!!
Oh this is fucking everything, this is so heartwarming and makes me wanna learn the guitar even more
this video does genuinely feel like a friend telling you a story about what they’ve been up to this week. super cool
You put it into words! Thank you.
Kelsey looks like someone that can play the ukelele.
I don't know what that means. But she's still a queen.
I know exactly what you mean lmao
@Repent and believe in Jesus Christ No
you and kelsey make me so happy its actually insane. both of your channels mean so much to me; pls never stop being you
It’s sad this video doesn’t have as many views as your other recent videos this is probably my favorite video that you’ve made.
The storyline, the music, the nostalgia of LMFAO….what a wholesome and entertaining video. Might be one of my favorites, couldn’t stop smiling. Also that song needs to be on SoundCloud or something so I can listen to it whenever lol. I will be buying a ukulele now, thanks Cody
do it! I learned three years ago and it was a great decision
the KITTEN … I mean Please
amazing and inspiring. LMFAO party rock really does work well on the uke.

HANDS DOWN, one of my absolute favorite videos of yours! Cody, you’re so cool and brought the biggest smile to my face:))
i got sad when i heard u say this wasn’t getting any views and i just wanted to come back and say i’ve returned to this video like 10 times to listen to your hilarious rendition of LMFAO. my boyfriend even put it on one time out of nowhere to cheer me up. your gold man, keep it up! ❤️
I have been watching you for a long time, and I can confidently say that this might be one of my favourite videos you have made. I love the combination of storytelling and a challenge.
Totally agree, this format gave Cody’s sarcasm room to perform.
RIGHT and the song at the end??? like cody ur spoiling us ugh
i’d say the same thing!
Cody's voice has gotten a lot better over the years honestly. Even if it's tuned or touched up, the sound is nicer. I enjoyed that goofy ukulele song
He actually has a really nice voice I love it
Finally its here. YES
czcams.com/video/GTHlCk7fEOY/video.html.
Three years ago i thought his voice was kinda ass but he has gotten so much better and I wanna hear more
I remember the hardest thing to learn on the uke was the strumming pattern. Once you've got the down down up up down up, you're golden
I feel like I’ll never get it down. 😩
He used the process of learning how to play a Ukulele to give us a house tour at the same time. Maybe he learned something from all those house tours videos afterall.
as much as i love to see cody reacting to cut and terrible shows from 2000s, he can’t do that forever. so i really enjoy seeing cody connecting us with authentic experience during journeys and projects. he is an 70 year old man pretty much
This proves that it's never too late to learn a talent. So happy to see senior citizens finding new passions :)
Yup! I taught yo mom how to do the split. never too late!
I think this actually proves that sometimes it is too late to learn a talent. 😂
this is funny 😁 (
LMAO THE BOTS
so many bots
do more stuff like this that makes you feel happy and inspired, that’s what matters the most
This needs to be a spinoff regular series; Cody was on the spectrum of emotions in this video
Yo when he’s voicing over the people at the “campfire” calling him out I laughed way too hard.. this vid was put together awesomely. I could not stop smiling. Cody u get better every time.. also put Kelsey in ur videos way more or else, thanks
Who knew cody would be able to learn to play ukulele so frictionlessly
Lets be honest we all enjoyed this video by having this:
*czcams.com/video/ykxs0_TeKZY/video.html*
Both Elon Musk and Cody Ko used frictionless in one of their interviews. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
I read this comment at the moment he had the cramps playing LMFAO at 5:00 and I fucking burst out laughing. Thanks for that.
Cody was preparing for his upcoming apology
man, i hadn't gotten to watch your videos in a little while, and this one reminded me just how much i appreciate you. the style is different from your usual stuff, but i loved it nonetheless and i think it's great you're experimenting with random things just because you feel like it. it also inspired me to do the same as well! plus you and kelsey and your furry children are all adorable, i was smiling the whole time. ily~
I think this may be one of my fav Cody videos of all time, Cody singing “You Are My Sunshine” gave me a huge serotonin boost
almost teared up when you played party rock. truly a classic
Legit need the song on Spotify. "I'm fading, fading~" is going to be stuck in my head for *days*
I know these type of videos get less views from your reaction videos but I loveeee them. I love seeing more sides of your life and you and Kelsey jamming out together was a beautiful shot. Keep making these types of videos, I especially loved your one on surfing. 💗
Honestly not even kidding this is pretty good if you didn’t put the lmfao joke in the song I would literally listen to that on repeat for a beginner on a string instrument you did really great! Proud of you for learning something!

The lmfao joke enhanced it lol all Cody's songs are great
The dickeating is crazy
Literally smiled the whole way through this video. It’s inspiring me to try some things I’ve always wanted to that make me feel like a kid again, but always let some excuse stop me. Loved the song too. So funny, but also sweet comment mental health struggles even if that wasn’t the goal. Just loved all of it!

I did the parental smile with the head tilt.
I want to learn the ukulele or the tongue drums
You can literally see how much effort you put into this video and learning the ukele i really enjoyed this video cody!
love this video!!! The type, format, etc. I'm obsessed with the new stuff you're doing!
I took uke lessons after I was suicidal. It's the best little instrument. You're so wholesome. Thank you for all the hard work you do just to make strangers on the internet smile.

This was amazing, one of my favorite videos you’ve done. I love watching people learn new things and share their process. It’s really inspiring content.
Love this style of video cody! Great job
Coming from a guitarist of 7+ years it was impressive to see you pick up strumming patterns so quickly. Usually beginners struggle with this for a long time before being able to get them to the level you had them at. You should be proud of yourself man!
i tried to teach myself ukulele a few years ago and picking up the classic four chords was easy but god damn i could not get strumming down. i was shocked at cody just doing it like it was easy.
I gotta say I’ve been going through a brutal time lately. Rock bottom. And your videos are really comforting and help me get through it all. Thank you Cody. I don’t know what else I’d do without these.

I love this video, love that it goes more in depth into something and showcases your process :)
There's also Mike Boyd, he also learns skills from scratch, and fast.

cody really does have a musical undertone talent and i’m real excited to see what he’s going to come up with in future videos. this video brings me happiness
Everything about this was wonderful - from the idea to the song, the little concerts for Kelsey, the interview/talk at the end ❤️
this is one of my favorite youtube videos i've seen. so comforting, wholesome, encouraging, and positive.
also, cody's singing voice is so comforting.
this is so sweet and inspiring! cody's singing is also so soothing to listen to 😌
Cody's music talents really coming out with this one, I'm genuinely impressed, sounds great :)
I love the format change (even though I enjoy your “usual” stuff). I love that you’re making music again. I love that you’re kinda showing us a little more of your personal life. I love you and Kelsey. I love that you actually enjoyed the process of learning. I love all of this Cody
YES! This video made me feel like I was there with him
this made me smile, thanks cody!! i love how you and kelsey always know how to make each other laugh it's so sweet
Do a video on your running cody!! Keep being you and sharing who you are- some fans might drop off but honestly the longest channels on youtube are ones where people can connect with the creator.. I've followed you since vine days and mostly loved you because of your super dry, cynical perspective- which wasn't something that everyone found funny. Some of my favorite videos are just you vlogging with friends. Just be you dude!! You don't have to be funny all the time
Even though this was still pleasant and the final result did make me laugh lol
I super love this. I don’t think it counts as “stealing” the idea if you bring the dude on at the end haha. Also uke is a great summer instrument, it’s fun for campfires bc you can play a lot of songs with very few chords ;)
Finally its here. YES
czcams.com/video/GTHlCk7fEOY/video.html.
The dude at the end stole the idea from someone else in the first place, without credit so
This is the first video in a while where I’ve seen a sparkle back in Cody’s eyes. Good for you Cody, keep taking care of yourself and your family!! ❤️❤️❤️ I hope happiness flows back into you’re continuously!

I love that learning as an adult is such a thing in our generation. I'm 21 and I'm trying to learn guitar and Spanish, and while I'm sure even 6 years ago I would've learned more easily, I'm enjoying the progress I slowly make.
Good luck :)
Yes I agree! I’ve never noticed it until now but as you said it, learning as an adult really is a big part of our generation. It’s so cool
Dude you are not that old
because the generations before you stopped learning as adults?
"6 years ago I would've learned more easily" no man. Trust me.
opening up to learning as an adult and showing others ur learning process is so cool, i really appreciate the vulnerability.
that being said u seem to take to it very well and have clear musical talent. believe in ur abilities!
Dude you need to make more videos like this. This party rocked.
This was such a great video, really inspiring. I just love how you really put a spotlight on the people who inspired you like calling Mike and ofc LMFAO such an underground group love that you gave them a voice!
I've watched Cody since Vine, and he was literally the first CZcamsr I ever subscribed to. It's so cool after all these years to watch him make something completely new and different, but still kill it because it still FEELS like a Cody Ko video! Psyched to keep seeing more of this.

Cody I don't know if you'll see this but this is one of your best videos to date. This will most probably not get as many views as the cut or the Jubilee ones but this felt like you had fun making it and like you really enjoyed the process of learning the instrument. I hope you keep trying to learn instruments it's one of the most fun things that you can do with your time. Learn the drums next and make it into a banger video. Loved this shit.
PS: I don't know if you've learnt singing anywhere but you are pretty good at it and could become amazing if you kept at it. Sing in the TMG songs too :)
