the echoing stomps, the labored breathing, the stifled laughing, the hair flopping -- this was....a masterpiece. Please tell Kelsey to upload a reaction video to this.
I need to see that video stat
Omg....yessssss!!!
you put the way i was feeling into words omfg im dying
the chain backwards flopping around too 😭
That whole silent clip i was thinking about how Kelsey would react😂😂
I think she's a badass for contacting you, and you're a badass for actually giving this a try. Love this video!
For real. He deserves props for doing something he thinks is stupid and getting out of his comfort zone to learn something new. I don’t even know who this is but I like him.
That's not what I would call badass
And she was feeling him too during the routine cody got that rizz
I think you're a badass for saying badass twice in the one sentence
@@roems6396 you know we also have the wife carrying contest in finland, amongst other weird shit like this. its kind of our thing
The best part is that she is so polite to someone who insulted her sport on the internet to millions of people lol
because she's been doing this for so long and she probably does not care anymore lol
and she’s not mad, or hurt.. she just doesn’t give a fuck😂
Also from a very very chill part of the world. Finnish people are similar to Hawaiians in that, they truly give no fucks. They're alive? It's a good ass day.
I'm sure she's self aware enough to know it's begging everyone to poke fun at. Every aspect of it is hilarious and the fact it involves a horse makes it even worse so I'm sure she doesn't take herself as seriously as an Olympic medalist
Cody laughing about the height of the stick before jumping, then failing right after is the therapy i needed today
I cried 😂😭
I was looking for this comment 😭😭 he scoffed at how easy it would be and then BROKE IT 💀

the silence. the prancing. the shoe sounds. the heavy breathing. the occasional laugh. im in tears
Literally same 🤣
cody going from “that’s cringe” to “i am cringe but i am free” is the best character development
Absofuckinglutely
he’s literally so free
This one simple sentence is such a good summary of his evolution. It's so true. I'm 32 now like Cody and now cherish the things that I used to be embarrassed about. Embrace your uniqueness.
I'm a dad now too so I'm training to make my daughter cringe when she's older.
more of this on the internet!!!
hope this shit never happens to me
The heavy breathing, the echoing of the dance studio, the sound of cody's feet as he trots around on his hobby horse, for TWO FULL MINUTES? I lost it.
Cody’s hair bouncing on top of his head while he did the routine was ridiculously funny. I needed this laugh, thank you
You mean his toupee
She's so graceful when she does it, but when Cody did the routine, he gave off "nine year old kid performing for the family in the living room after dinner" vibes
I'm in tears from this image 😂
💀💀
HAHAHAHAHA WTF
felt this jus didn’t have words to describe the energy lmao thank u
Omg😂😂
Cody out of breath prancing around in complete silence is the best thing I’ve seen in so long.
And she's just staring at him like this is pathetic hahahaha 😆
I didn’t see Cody i just saw a passionate horse performing a great show
I haven’t had this good of a laugh in a minute
giggled the whole way through
I am crying that he left his breathing in
The way she just deadpans “that’s disqualified” made me crack up. It’s the perfect way to wrap up Cody’s character arc on his hobby horsing journey.
Now, he’ll use this humiliation to become the ultimate anime protagonist.
I liked the "because you're not riding your horse!" Like it was just commonsense!
@@PoppyDada27 ofcourse it's commonsense that you get disqualified if you throw your horse down in a hobbyhorsing competition
She was such a good sport about this whole thing that I really ended up liking her in this vid. Super cool for her to reach out and for Cody to actually do it
Cody prancing to complete silence is the funniest thing i've ever seen
It requires full concentration and there is no room for errors. This is a very serious sport
@@abbyz13 dance and gymnastics are also very serious sports, but they at least perform to music

this is simultaneously the funniest and most heart warming video I’ve seen in such a long time
As a hobbyhorser I like how kind Alisha was to invite him to give it a try. Doesn't even matter that Cody still thinks it's weird because hobbyhorsing always will be. I'm just glad this video can give others insight to the hobby and hopefully respect it for what it is. 🖤
❤
it looks like an incredible workout! I didn't realize how physical it was until I watched this video!

@@jj66123 I'm not a furry anymore, and I don't see the point in mentioning another hobby unrelated to hobbyhorsing. Is that something significant to you?
I’m sure this is exactly where Cody envisioned his channel going 5 years ago
Frictionlesd
I really respect how many times Cody and Noel end up learning from and befriending a person they previously made fun of, like the fragrance king and matty smokes
And the kombucha guy
It’s ironic how the Godly women may be upset still.
@@Kerrviii oh they're upset, and worse.
"learning from" whats that even mean.
The kombucha guy, G.T. Dave, is my absolute favorite one. That one killed me.
I can not overstate how deeply and profoundly I enjoyed this content. There is a certain strength and freedom in making a complete fool of yourself by learning a new skill and having fun. Bravo! This new skill series is my new favorite thing!
I have a younger cousin that does a lot of hobby horsing. She's a really shy girl and this sport has been such a great way for her to get out and move around, plus meet a lot of new friends. Yes, it's strange etc but if it makes kids move and helps outcasts find a community, I am ALL for it.
I am a little cousin who is shy LOL. Your a great big cousin! my cousin makes fun of me for this sport and it honestly hurts me so much, im so glad you support your cousin and keep doing that
I don’t think I’ve laughed this hard in my entire life. The amount of tears streaming down my face while Cody is out of breath prancing in silence. Knowing he does all this training for the iron man and the hobby horse 2 minute routine brings him to the point of exhaustion is something I will cherish forever.

ok but she seems genuinely so sweet. I love her outlook on doing what she loves and not caring what other people think
most people just say that they practice that whole doing what they love and not caring, but she’s a really good living example of that mentality, she seems awesome
yeah cody is a little bit*h for making fun of this
this is why finland is the happiest country in the world and cody is a bich
I have met her multiple times and she truly is the sweetest Person ever
I wouldn’t doubt that she is the sweetest irl, dang, she could’ve been so much more abrasive towards someone poking fun at her obscure hobby but she was just so genuine & sweet omg. Love her so much
I love her attitude towards the hate, it's genuinely admirable. She loves what she does and she's damn good at it
Un-ironically proud of Cody for putting himself out there and giving this a fair shake! Also un-ironically impressed by the skill and stamina it takes- still laughing my ass off but also impressed!
Cody: complains of frequent knee pain*
Also Cody: does this*
This is pretty light on the knees... its getting up and down off the ground and running//moving too fast for your knees(everyone's different)
If my fiancé tried to do this, he would die from his chondramallasia patella! Like literally, he would rather jump off a building. Ugh, I wish I could take his pain away.

Literally my favourite part 😂
i would’ve been so winded too 💀
Please do more “I mastered this skill” type videos Cody, it’s absolutely amazing to see you learn something new😂🤗
The intense breathing during the routine just amplified how hard it is
alisha is an absolute queen. literally couldn’t care less about the haters
i luv herrr she’s cool
except for her dq'ing him because he didn't keep the fckin thing between his legs until.... forever? on his drive home, at the grocery store, at his kid's graduation, in the nursing home....
Cody showed me he’s a good guy by not doing what most content creators would do by actually trying hard at this instead of showing up and making fun of the girls hobby the whole time.
I mean he did for some of it, but yes eventually he stopped
its nice to see her having a laugh along with him. Rare to see someone so chill about a couple jokes made about them
It’s called “character development “.
We just watched him do a long hard leg work out
@@BBQUINNI mean of course he did, it is goofy, it’s really cool that he did it and see how hard it actually is but he’s still gonna make jokes about it, doesn’t mean that he also wasn’t trying hard.
Although I haven't laughed so hard in my entire life before like when watching Cody's 2 min routine in complete silence, we all have to acknowledge the amount of self confidence he has to have in order to actually post it, we love you Cody
Honestly she’s such a G for doing this. Like to face the haters is a really hard thing to do. And she’s being a great ambassador to the sport
This is BY FAR the hardest I've ever laughed at any of your videos. The dead silence, with the large amount of heavy breathing, along with the seriousness of the routine had me literally crying. To think this video was almost canned would have been a travesty!! 🤣😆🤣😆
I was actually crying if laughter watching that end part
watching you try not to laugh in complete silence while trotting all over this dance studio is the best thing i’ve ever watched
Hi Cody, I wanted to thank you for having Alisa on and being open to trying a new experience. My daughter is 12 and hobby horsing, among other animal things has caught her eye, but the kids at school make fun of her. I was able to show her this video where she could see Alisa’s confidence in her sport, and see you opening yourself up to be accepting and try new opportunities. I don’t know if she’ll be hobby horsing as an adult, but as a child she goes boldly on knowing somewhere out there other people have her same interests.
I respect that he actually called it a sport. Thank you for that, alot of people think we're really really weird.
after watching i honestly understand why people do this
Cody not even making the first jump is the funniest thing
dunno if it was on purpose but it was great
LMFAOOO
I read this comment when this happened and missed it. went back to watch and... I was not expecting the bar to be that low 💀
From what I understand, one of the main challanges of hobby horsing is getting over the embarassment. Which I think is geniunely admirable and unique.
!!!!!
thats so true
They say the same thing about public masturbation
I love this so much because he’s making it clear that even if someone thinks it’s goofy or dumb, it shouldn’t be outright insulted, because people just wanna enjoy shit, and they should be allowed to. I’ve always said that if I see something cringey, if the person is happy, I’ll never say anything. I value people’s happiness over my personal response of “oh cringe”.
❤❤❤
This has to be my favourite Cody Ko video. I appreciate the effort you put in, risking embarrassment, and treating the sport with respect. Plus I laughed my ass off through the whole thing, so made my day! 100% proud of you for putting it out there.
It’s making me happier just knowing how hard Kelsey laughed at this
this was one of this first things I thought 😂
WHO TOLD YOU I WANNA SEE
Was literally thinking about Kelsey watching this when I was watching this 😂
I'm glad she reached out shes so likeable and together you guys make the dream horse team 😂
Proud of Cody for his creatively entertaining videos in an age of duplicity
Cody falling on the very first jump attempt was so unbelievably funny.

I love this on so many levels. Alisa inviting Cody, Cody trying it, trying to do it for real, realising is it a work out and still thinking it is goofy but with a new sort of view. Love it.
This comment is my extract thoughts! Perfect video lol
This is a recurring pattern for him, same exact thing happened with Dhar Mann. Though I wonder how much the Dhar paid him.💀
As someone who trains/rides real horses, this was absolutely hysterical. I did this shit as a child when I wasn't on my actual horse. But I am super impressed that you remembered your dressage test!
I can't really tell if this is hate to hobbyhorsing or not. but whatever.
Without music or anything... and your breathing.. I started laughing SOO hard within the first 3 seconds. Thank you so much for posting, this is horse gold.
“you cannot insult me” is such an alpha move i love her

Okay ngl as a finnish person and a horse lover, I - for the longest time - thought this was some bad joke when it got brought up in the news for the first ime... but seeing this girls enthusiasm and "i dont care what others think" vibe I kinda dig it. Never would do it myself, but sure made for a fun video idea for Cody lmao. I love how u try to master every silly thing.
honestly recognizing something is ridiculous and hilarious and weird while still being really challenging and a positive activity is really great
a lot of us can learn from this!
I live for the ridiculous and stupidly hilarious things. The first time I saw this sport I laughed my ass off but I seriously didn't think anything of those people other than "what a bunch of legends". I've seen recently people in some place in the world who have a contest where they let frogs out and touch their bums so that they jump. And then they race frogs like that and try to jump them through a finish line. It's a serious thing, no one's fucking around and laughing, they're all fully invested in the suspense and cheering for the outcome, the whole community comes together to participate in this, most people have their own frog, etc. They literally found a purpose in that ridiculous, absurd activity and I had nothing but outmost respect for them while everyone in the comments were laughing and making fun of them. To me, these are the type of people that actually live life to the fullest and enjoy the ride - absolute legends. Sorry for a long and weird reply lol
and she's right at the start about basketball, football etc. they're all just silly kids games that we choose to take seriously - and there's nothing wrong with that.
I love how Cody can make videos with random people with no awkwardness this vid was so good

Alisa genuinely made it look so beautiful and easy! I love seeing people who have truly mastered their craft, no matter how absurd
that was soo well put😂
Only Cody would be enough of a glorious himbo to make an entire video without realizing he was using 'gate' instead of 'gait' to refer to walking.

LHAHAHAHAHA
I absolutely love to see videos like this of a person with with clout, who’s not afraid to post something online of them honestly trying something new. Even if Cody was super embarrassed, because he was genuine & wiling to be a goof, I think it reminds all of us that it’s okay to play, it’s okay to enjoy silly thing, even if it’s jumping around with a hobby-horse. Love it.
The silent "oh my god" right before the end of the routine literally made me have to pause to cackle. The silence and breathing/laughing sounds really made it so great
The loud breathing and held back hysterical laughter was the best part of the performance for me
Cody prancing in silence with his subdued laughter and heavy breathing while wearing new balances is the best birthday gift I could've asked for. It's been a lowkey shitty bday so far but this video turned that RIGHT AROUND. i literally have not laughed this hard in so long i am CRYINGGGG the two minutes of silence got me 😭😭😭
I love all of your videos, but this in particular has a special place in my heart. The sheer amount of humbling and realization of "this is not what i thought it was" is so enlightning and i have so much respect for it. Thank you for continuing to be open minded with different hobbies/communities and giving them a platform. I actually think this is a very cute and affordable way for people to find a hobby that caters to an equstrian interest without the INSANE amount of economy that goes into the hobby with actual horses. Horseriding is EXTREMELY expensive, so i cant help but get a very heartwarming feeling about hobbyhorsing for people who dont have the possibility or interest in spending that much money :'))
she genuinely looks so elegant doing it, the way she prances reminds me of how male ballet dancers move! super beautiful and she has an amazing energy. ❤️
agreed. it's really clear why she's the champion, her technique looks perfect. i tried doing some of the walks, they were SO hard. she makes it look like she's walking on air
The jump at 9:20 was smooth af 😏
When Cody didn’t make the first jump I almost started crying laughing
I let out the loudest cackle 😭

seriously, thank you for posting this video. this was such an unexpected joy, and legitimately is eye-opening to things that are unconventional to most of the world. it is a wholesome experience, and actual hard work, even if its a bit silly- seeing you take it seriously is so nice, and im glad i got to meet Alisa! she is very graceful on her hobbyhorse
Cody you honestly should be proud of yourself. Having the self esteem to be willing to go through this is incredible. You are an awesome person and it's why I continue to watch your channel. 99% of people that make fun of this would never try it like you did.
How cool and bold of her to come and teach someone something they were making fun of & for Cody to try it! Laughed so much, what a fun video!

@@ellux4237 I respect people for doing this, but just because something makes you out of breath and is cardio, it does not mean it’s a sport

@@MamadNobari You just defined it as a sport lol
If you think about it, your idea of a sport and the reason this doesnt count to you is the lack of respect for it. Football and basketball are undeniably “sports” because they’re popular and the athleticism is respected, whether its goofy or not doesnt factor into that definition

I’ve said it before but I honestly really love this type of content from Cody, especially when mixed in with his more traditional videos. Just can’t help but respect the effort!! 😤
Her "You cannot insult me" quote went by too quick. That's gold.
I read that just as it happened.
She loves what she does, kinda gotta admire that
I was a hurdler in school, and that's challenging enough without adding a stick between your legs and adding horse mannerisms. Props to anyone doing this competitively

Seriously. I have tire still in my knee from a fall from a weighted hurdle to this day. Shits hard.
such a power move to disqualify cody after all that. when he drop the horse she just kept looking down at the horse & that’s when i knew she was about to be petty lmao. & the cherry on top was cody falling onto the ground, sticking out both hands, & asking “why?”.
Thank you so much Cody for posting, i feel the need to be more courageous now after seeing something so embarrassing. but seriously thank so you much

Have to give kudos to you Cody Ko. I really do respect that you gave it a serious try. Also, kudos to them for reaching out to you in the first place and offering to teach you, instead of just being insulted. Good people all around.
The heavy breathing and no bg music during the floor routine was seriously reminding me of that scene from P-Valley where you see a girl pole dancing and it looks effortless and then they cut to her with no music and she’s breathing super heavy. I unironically love that shit lol. It gives you more respect for stuff that people devalue as being stupid or easy but is actually a skill that requires talent and strength. So cool that Cody gave this a try
I love how seriously he took this I would love to see him try to learn like dance or gymnastics. Also,
impressed he left the mic/sound on during the routine bc hearing someone audibly trying is weirdly vulnerable and sometimes embarrassing
This. This!! I’ve been a martial artist for 13 years and I get embarrassed teaching my classes. Why?? It shouldn’t be so embarrassing to be working hard but it is and I really truly respect him leaving that in because it’s normal to be out of breath! It’s normal to be trying.
@@m.stamatin ya I think it can feel embarrassing for people to hear you out of breath bc you don’t want people to think you’re super out of shape even though a fitness king like Cody can get out of breath like this
I'd love to see him collab with Nile Wilson and his squad, they could teach him how to do a backflip
Watching Cody's baby steps to becoming a world champion hobby horse competitor is intriguing.
I love that Cody is so down to do anything.
Hearing the nervous later during the first couple transitions of the routine and then just the heavy breathing afterward was fantastic
I liked when Cody said her legs really look like a horse and she says “thank you!” So wholesome
I always remember Cody saying he felt stagnant about his reaction content on the pod, so it honestly brings me so much joy to see him do outrageous shit like this/DJ set. It makes me happy knowing our boy is content. Keep on doing you bro, cuz you’re the best to do it

Cody jumping around while holding a fake horse head is probably the funniest thing I’ll see this year
Dude this is one of my favorite vids from you. Similar to the ukulele one, it’s great seeing someone reach out of their comfort zone and spread awareness of some kind of cultural activity. I’m proud of you for practicing and paying good respect to the interest.
I love this so much and it shows such a good influence! It actually teaches something important that we live in a world full of hate (not everytime literal hate tho, jokes are meant for happiness) and we need to learn to respect and accept other people no matter if it's weird for us. As long as a person doesn't hurt someone (without consent) they are free do to what they want and no one should criticise.
