Hey jade, I am from India. You are really my inspiration.
I love the window sill of plants đ± Are they real or fake,
are your parents fans of the rock band Aerosmith? Everytime I hear your name I hear their song "Jaded" ringing in my head.
Hey jade
July by Noah Cyrus is a easy song to learn
And If you learn the strumming pattern and automate it than you can learn a lot more songs simple.
Ik vind je video's heel leuk!
Jade: I'm not a singer
Also Jade: Sings beautifully
Exactly!!
Jade putting her finger on the lines instead of the frets at the begining XD bless
"MINE DOESN'T SOUND LIKE HIS" summarises every musician trying to learn any piece ever
I'm LOVING the 'week to learn' series (is it a series?? if not please please turn this into a series Jade - I LOVE these videos!) You could do this with a new sport maybe?? Just an idea!! â€ïž
As a musician, this brought me much entertainment
your singing is so soft and sweet
These studytubers are making me more engaged in what I like and I love it and thank you all
this makes me happy, you do you!!
This brought me back to when I was volunteering in Fiji before coronavirus, and at night our whole group would sit under the stars and sing along to one of the guys playing the ukulele - it was magical, like you said. Thank you for triggering that beautiful memory for me, I really needed it today x
Iâve been playing the guitar for about twelve years now, so when I started the ukulele a few months ago it was so very easy for me haha:) But itâs really lovely to see someone without prior musical knowledge try to learn an instrument, you just need to keep practicing! Once youâve understood basic terms and technique it will be much easier:) Also hereâs a bit of help for beginners: 1. frets are the parts between the white lines 2. when moving from one fret up to the next it is a half tone up 3. major and minor are two different types of chords, major chords sound âhappyâ and minor chords sound âsadâ 4. chords are named after their fundamental note, e.g. the g chord is built from the g note 5. there are basically 7 notes: cdefgab 6. itâs normal if your fingers hurt after practicing as a beginner without any experience with string instruments, your fingers need to adjust, so after a few days or weeks of practice it will go away (it depends how fast you will learn the exact amount of pressure you need to put on the strings of your ukulele/guitar) 7. when you think which instrument you want to buy, donât buy the really cheap ones on amazon, theyâre really bad... of course you donât need a very expensive one at the beginning but try fo find a decent one, read the reviews or just go to your local music store 8. technique is important, but if you feel like quitting because itâs to hard, try to play some songs that you really want to play (just like jade did) so that you donât loose your motivation too fast 9. when you should come across sheet music, there are two types: tabs and standard music notation, if you donât know how to read notes like it is taught in music theory, than youâd have to use tabs (they show you the number of the fret on the string that you need to play) 10. just have fun and keep practicing!
i have had a ukulele just sitting in my room forever u have inspired me to play. love you jade your so inspirational.
đGOđPLAYđITđ such a fun, beautiful little instrument!! have fun with it x

you're amazing Jade!! you have such a lovely voice and its so inspiring how much you manage to fit into your life - music, language, work, study, fun, youtube, fitness, friends. we're loving all this content atm
Iâve been playing ukulele for around 3 years now and this reminds me very much of when I started. But now Iâm looking back I can see that the practise has really paid off!! Keep at it! Because whatâs hard now, will one day be your warm up!! :) x
I'm not allowed to play instruments but if ever I reach a stage in my life where I have independence and control over my life decisions I may consider learning this adorable instrument.
I am so sorry that you are in this situation. I hope you have the opportunity to learn anything and everything you want. I wish you all the best.
Why dont you leave?
Pft same
wait why aren't you allowed?? I hope you're ok xx
SAME!
THIS IS FATEEE!!!!!! Just this morning I worked up the courage to upload my first youtube video of me singing, after being inspired for years by people like Jade...then I refresh CZcams and see Jade herself has posted AND the video is about music. So beautiful!!! Love you Jade, thanks for being such a wonderful inspiration.
honestly Jade, your voice is very beautiful. especially at the last song, it just calmed me so much đđ
Immaculate vibes all round in this video AH! Ukuleles are just so aesthetically pleasing to watch and listen đ„șđ„°
I use to play the uke with a group and we played at the Royal Albert Hall, i still think that is my proudest moment to date
This is so cool to see, honestly, I think this whole lockdown and quarantine situation is such a perfect opportunity to learn đ
jade, I'm loving these fun education based videos for lockdown đ
I just noticed how much plants there are in Jade's room! Very green!
I started to learn the ukulele a few months ago and this gave me SO MUCH Nostalgia from the first week. Great vid!
Hey Jade! Lately Iâve been binge watching a lot of your old videos. Iâm a huge fan and Iâve been in your channel for a very long time, since 2017. Iâm still young but all of your videos have really helped me both academically and personally. I love you so much thank you for everything you have changed in my life I am so gratefulđâ€ïž
your motivation for learning new things is so incredible!! it took me so long to bring myself to regularly practice piano and even then i only practice around half an hour 5 days a week!
The transitions Jade! Yesss, I loved them!
been playing the ukulele for almost 2 years so I'm living for this
You did so well and you sound amazing! Itâs so satisfying to feel like you know an instrument!
Congratulations!!!
Iâve been playing ukulele for 3 years now and I loveeee it so much! I hope you enjoy your journey
your voice is so relaxing ily
Girl!! This is amazing!! Youâve inspired us all as per usualđhonestly wish I had the patience and commitment you dođđ
As someone who is musical I can say regular practice is key to getting better. That's what I found when trying to learn the violin at school, and then teaching myself guitar and the ukulele. Your voice is lovely btw! Love these kind of videos
For someone who has never played any instrument before this is really impressive - and it shows that itâs never to late to start learning a new skill. And your singing is so beautiful đ
Jade this is so inspirational, you made great progress!! Plus you have such a beautiful voice đ„°
In your bucket list video you mentioned learning beginner music theory but you wasn't sure how to quantify what 'beginner' standard was. Everyone learns differently, but if it helps, I recommend perhaps starting with grade 1 ABRSM music theory! ABRSM is a music exam board (a bit like AQA, Edexcel etc), where you can take grades in instruments/music theory, with grade 1 being the easiest. They publish practice books for music theory, and there are also some great playlists on CZcams for learning as well! Being an exam board you can expect the learning to be quite structured, but even if thats not your learning style, it still might be a good place to start just so you get an idea! Although I have played violin for many years now, and taken practical grades, I have not studied music theory/taken any music theory exams, and haven't encountered any major difficulties (although at higher levels theory becomes important to understand) . Everyone learns differently, and I personally found that just through playing the instrument, you pick up the relevant music theory, so I'd say for the moment don't worry too much about it! :)
Im learning my first instrument and this is so useful thankyou :) have a nice day!
Your singing is so beautiful, Jade đ keep it up!
I bought a ukulele as my first ever real instrument at the beginning of lockdown and now itâs literally one of my favourite hobbies I love it so much!! This was so cute and wholesome and honestly to anyone debating doing it - DO IT!! They can be bought for so cheap and are so easy to learn for free!!
That feeling of being able to look up almost any song and play it on ukelele is the best!
Thank you for changing my life Jade!!!!
Awesome vid! I got my first everrrrr uke yesterday... also a Kala Concert. So in mad love with it!!
Jade makes me feel like I have something to do , or makes me excited for the future- proper inspiration!
I've been learning to play the guitar since lockdown began and it's so satisfying to see how much I've improved over 3 months!! What has kept me playing (nearly) every day is that I've made it compulsory for myself to never miss one day in a row of playing, and I take a selfie of myself with my guitar every time I play as evidence. It might sound stupid but it's super effective! And also, the more I've played guitar, the more fun it's become! đ Enjoy your ukelele journey Jade! Xx
This is the wholesome content we all needed!! đ
I love this video! I love how motivated you are and you learn quite fast! Itâs also extra entertaining when you actually play the ukulele. I love playing music. I play the ukulele, the guitar, the piano and I sing.
So pleased you have spent time learning the ukulele! Music is such a massive part of my life been playing violin for 11 years (but I'm not great) as well as Piano for 6 and Tenor sax for a couple of years. I love them all so much but I don't think I go a day without playing Piano (my main instrument), honestly would never get through quarantine without it! I have also picked up a new instrument called an otamatone and if you're ever bored I honestly just recommend watching otamatone videos on youtube bc they're so fun to watch!
Jade's videos never fail to make me happy, it genuinely feels like watching a friend
You are a ray of sunshineđâ€
Excuse me jade I love your singing, I'd honestly let you sing me to sleep. And aw watching you learn to play ukulele really took me back to when I first got mine when I was like 9 and it was so heart warming to watch you get better and see you falling in love with creating music
I've been a singer for years, and now I'm going to school for opera in SF. But one of my first serious instruments was the ukulele, and I remember going through this process and feeling every step that you are. Itâs such a beautiful process and you are learning so incredibly well. Je speelt heel goed, ga zo door!
Jade, great video!! I love your content, keep up the good work. You've actually inspired me to create my own channel.
I NEED MORE VIDEOS WITH JADE SINGING!!! đ
Great job Jade!!! It's lovely that you're learning the ukelele! Amazing job, especially as it is your first instrument!
The La vie en rose was really great! And yes, You Are My Sunshine is the best... Hahahaha
JADE you make me happyyyyy when skies are grey! (And they are right now. It's pouring) â€
I really enjoy your videos. You always motivate me. Love youđ
Jade, YOU ARE TALENTED!!đđ, ilysm
I have been thinking of getting a ukulele as well since I heard itâs basically an easy way to learn the guitar? this video totally inspired me to actually buy one đ€
Your voice is so beautiful â€ïž so impressed with your skills
Jade, I honestly enjoy your singing đđ¶
When Lydia, eve and jade post on the same day!!
I bought a ukulele two years ago and whenever I started playing I got discouraged and stopped but this video gave me so much motivation to start again thank you!
Thank you Jade! I really wanted to learn the ukulele and now I feel like I canđđ
You're so talented Jade
Your voice is so niiiice!!!! I love it đ»đ»â€ïž
I can totally relate to the learning process :) I started a few months ago and felt similar. I'm inspired to pick up my own uke now!
The first video that I saw of you was the one that you go to France to learn the language for like 2 weeks and ever since I've been watching all of your videos. Somehow I feel like a friend of yours. I can relate so much to your videos. I've always been like "I'm not a musical person" or "I'm not an artsy person" but I had always wanted to be. So during this quarantine I have started to paint and of course is not he best, but I enjoy doing it, it brings a joy that I don't experince often. Same thing happened to me with the ukulele a couple of years ago. And I also tried learning dutch (only in Duolingo tho). I am doing yoga more often and trying to be more mindful in my life.
Basically I just wanted to tell you that I enjoy your content, you are a lovely person Jade, with so many things to share with the world :)
Hope you have a lovely day if you get to see this comment.
xoxo from Colombia :)
Proof that dedication and hard work can allow anyone to learn anything and follow their dreams, whatever they aređ
I think this is the cutest thing ever!! Yes Jade!!!
This video is such a happy vibe!đ
Also: I have mentioned it before, but I absolutely admire your determination!
Welcome to the world of music! It is more than a hobby, it is an international method of communication and unison. So glad to see you are falling in love with it â€â€ xx
this is such a great video with so many moments that made me laugh!! and I love that youâre just putting yourself singing out there on youtube even though youâre not 100% comfortable with it ... sounds great though ! x
Your singing voice sounds beautiful!
Jadeeeee your so good!!!!
ugh the talent, we have no choice but to stan đ„°
u FLATTER me
You have an exceptionally beautiful voice, please keep singing!
Are you kidding girl?! Your voice is just the sweetest đ§Ąđ§Ą every time you sing we were two ahahahah loved it đ„°
I also recently bought a ukulele, and I'm much older than you! While I've played other instruments, and am a singer, my journey has been similar to yours. How fun to see! And you have a lovely voice! Keep playing and enjoying!
Youâve inspired me to pick up my guitar after weeks of it sitting in my room. Also I recommend Chordify to find chords to any song on CZcams. ;)
Haha I love this, at the start of lockdown I picked up the guitar, an addition to the piano! xx
Your voice is just beautiful
Omg you won't believe I've been researching on ukuleles recently too and I was planning on buying the same one!
Well now that you've got it too, it'd be a sin waiting any longer! :)â€
I have a salt lamp like in ur BG!! I love those lamps!!
oh this is making me reminisce when i learnt ukulele it was so fun hope you enjoyed it as much as i did
Jade this video was really interesting to watch! As a guitar player myself, I would encourage anyone to give music a go!!
Also at 9:23 most instruments work best with short nails as they donât catch as easily and if you have long nails it can sometimes be painful to play. đ
Honestly I have a ukulele since the last two years ,I play it sometimes but this video is my wake up call and finally you inspired me so much đ âšâšđ
Hey Jade, I started playing the ukulele 4 (I think) years ago. Like you, I found it really difficult to do the g chord and the other things you were struggling with, now it's like second nature. Just keep practising and you will get it!! Your voice is really pretty so please don't say it isn't!
this is SO COMFORTING thank you! already, G feels much more intuitive! đ
jade your vids are so uplifiting and just make me laugh and awh all at the same time
Yess would 1000%recommend learning an instrument I love playing guitar đžđ€©
Oof we love a guitar player!! đđ
Youâve got a beautiful voice! Great playing too. As a guitarist Iâm inspired!!
woohooo it sounds so good!!! Also your singing voice is really lovely !!!xx
I"m literally 20 and my ukulele is arriving tomorrow
i hope i'll have fun learning it after watching your video
, thankyou for being such an inspiration,
âź from INDIA.
i love this so much! i began playing my uke at the start of 2018 and i'm in love with the sound of it! she's honestly like my child hahah! here's a handy tip that i wish i'd been told: make sure that u always check that ur uke is in tune BEFORE playing- even if u think that it is! it's amazing how even a slightly out-of-tune string can totally ruin how the song sounds so always always always check it! good luck with the rest of ur ukulele journey!! ahah :)) this was such an uplifting video (as per usual ofc! what am i saying!?)
Yeee! Jade, thank you! You gave me an idea for my birthday gift (I really wanted to have a musical instrument, but I didn't really pick one). I am going to have one in a few days đđđ
Oh wow! I recently got a ukulele too (my first instrument as well). I was very daunted by it, but you've motivated me to take up the challenge! Thank you :)
Yessss I love this!! Good luck learning đ
Thank you!
Thanks so much for putting the work into making this video, Jade. Today's been hard, but it's a bit better for seeing something this inspiring and wholesome! Oh, and you actually sound pretty good for just a week!
Iâm sorry today was hard, life is like that sometimes. :( I appreciate your kind words!!
@@UnJadedJadeY'know, I actually thought 'how would Jade handle this?' today, and decided to just do things I'd enjoy without pressure, go for a bike ride in the rain and talk to the people I cherish. So I'm happy to say I feel great now. :D Plus, your kind reply made my day, you're a wonderful (ukulele-jammin') human!!
According to your opinion practicing hard is one of better thoughts whatever Iâd heard and also you depended it on you your own. Actually I rarely play any musical instrument but now I love to play the instruments . Thank you very much
27 seconds ago!!đ€©
i'm so excited to watch this!!â€ïžđâ€ïžđâ€ïžđâ€ïž
