As for the mom losing her son- sometimes humor is the only way to keep going. I made a TikTok about my boyfriend dying and it went super viral but it got a lot of hate for making jokes about his death. Laughter is literally the best medicine and sometimes you just have to make a joke to get through the pain.

The missing grandmas last words really got me, first time I’ve cried in a long time. My dad was slowly dying in the hospital and no one bothered to call me… but Cody’s jokes were funny so I’m good now.
The eye ones always fuck me up so bad for days, but I can’t stop watching these whenever u post more.
I dont' know why I started my day with this, but at least I can relate to the day being ruined.

Back when I had cancer, a lot of patients at the chemo center and I engaged in gallows comedy. We all called it tumor humor. Same thing with grief, so never feel badly laughing- it's a healthy coping strategy.
When my grandma passed away ( we all stayed in the hospital and just waited over a couple days for her to pass. Afterwards we went to Denny’s and just laughed and talked about her life. It’s was very healthy and cathartic
I still feel bad for when these people make jokes about their kid or grandma dying, I hope it’s to actually cope and not them being soulless for tiktok views
Yeah that's totally true. My granny passed away a few years ago and we always "make fun of her" and things she used to say lolll that's just how our relationship was, and I'm glad she can still make me laugh ❤

The woman saying she accidentally killed her ex was lying for views on tiktok. People found out she was arrested because she was driving without a license. Some people would do anything for attention.

Also 1st degree murder means it was proven to be premeditated. If the story were true it would not have been an accident, and she'd probably still be in prison.

it's definitely fake but also you have to remember that the justice system fucking SUCKS and people get falsely charged/mischarged with crimes they didn't commit all the time. it's not impossible for what was actually a manslaughter to be twisted into a premeditated murder story.
also, charged ≠ convicted. even if she HAD been charged with first degree murder, it could've been proved that it wasn't premeditated in court, and she would've been convicted of second or third degree murder instead. again, though, this is definitely fake lol

"Globe luxation" is the medical term for an eye popping out of the head, luckily it's extremely rare. Outside cases of trauma to the region, it is usually caused by the buildup of pressure and/or fluids either in or behind the orbital cavity. Eyes aren't as firmly in place as most people think, which is why they can rotate easily. A little too much pressure and they'll just pop out.
By the way, the good news is they go in about as easy as they come out. So even if your eye does fall out, you just go to the hospital, they apply a bit of analgesia to the area so it doesn't even hurt, and then just put it back in. Also, while having your eye outside your head will feel weird (for obvious reasons), it won't hurt. Also you won't go blind from this unless the nerves connecting the eye to the brain are damaged.
