Yes, a small circle can appear around the image, however, it will not interfere with tracking of your body in game.

2. Calibrate with the Zoom NOT installed for initial set up
3. Depends on the game, but assume it will take the space 1 player takes without the Zoom installed.

@NykoTechnologies Few questions.
1. Which would be a better option, to put the zoom below my tv (a little over 2 feet above the ground) or above my tv (about 5 feet above the ground)?
2. For the first time using the kinect, is it better to first calibrate it with the zoom on, or without it, then with it?
3. For two player, how far do you have to stand back while using the zoom?
@sw201444 Try placing the Kinect with Zoom attached below your TV
@canarywarpe That shouldn't be happening please make sure when in stalling the Zoom you didn't place it under anything that would prevent it from moving or you didn't manually move the the Kinect.
They are the general guidelines that Microsoft said first.
It's in the kinect manual.
If you can't call, it would be best to email us through our website. Please include detailed information about the issues you are having AND your current set up including placement of the Kinect Sensor, reflective surfaces in the room and their placement relative to the sensor, windows etc.

Ok question why wen i have it in is some black and white and cant detect through it? any sugggestions cause i need to move it but theat dosent get rid of all blackness???
If the sticker peals off and i cant stik bak down am i screwed??
@NykoTechnologies in game it works fine but in the play menus (especially Kinect Adventures) it cant find my hands and shows them flying around in jerky motions even when theyre are completely still. I did all the calibration and do hold my hand close to my torso with my palm flat. My only 2 kinect games right now are just dance 3 which it works great with, and kinect adventures which it barely works with. In KA, i can't even stand closer than w/out the device. What should I do?
yup, i followed all the instructions to a T. I'm not dealing with it any longer. It already scratched up my Kinect really badly.
Oh and the probs at moment black round edges,cant detect my feet please help

Is it normal that the sensor shows me a black circle around the green area?
I guess the product is pretty random because it works just fine for me. Normally I'd have to stand even near the wall to even play some games but now I can just stand in front of the TV. It's a bit pricey but it works great for me.
@BonesBelieber1424 If you are having trouble navigating menus while using all those tips provided in the Help Video, then most likely the Kinect is not seeing your head while in the menus. You can A) Step back or B) just bend your knees slightly so your head is fully visible to the Kinect Sensor. If that doesn't solve the problem, then please give us a call at 888.444.6956

Well, I kinda bought a tv mount and this and basically i have to use one or the other.. kinda a waste. It has never detected the floor and can never see my face unless i'm right in front of it meaning... 2feet away.... but at that point i'm to close to my tv and get dizzy.. defiantly needs improvement on m$ end or your end even tho your are a 3rd party company

Não consigo fazer o meu zoom reconhecer o chão! por mais que tenha luz, altura correta, distância, já tentei de tudo. Ele só diz que não consegue ver o chão!

well. i do have the same problem with this gadget. but it's not that worst. but the sensor can't stabilize. so when i playing dart game. the motion that appear. will go up and down. i already followed your instruction. but still... i'm having the same problem. and please don't ask me to call your customer service number because i'm living in asian country
just give me a good solution!
@evianonly Have you tried placing the Kinect with the Zoom attached below your TV at the front of the surface it is on? That might solve your problem! If not, feel free to give us a call at 888.444.6956 and we'll figure it out!

@0Bennyman It seems you have a good deal of questions, why don't you call our customer service dept at 888.444.6956 and we can work through each one together.
It keeps saying "Kinect can't find the floor, Kinect can't find the floor Kinect can't find the floor" and I must have manually adjusted it 30 times!

It's absolute JUNK! Just spent three hour recalibrating my Kinect so it would work. But it works 10x better with out it.

Dont use this its just a super magified unit , the kinect lenses are high precision lenses they may not look it but believe they are they are just like a DSLR camera lenses they rely on clear vision devices like this reduce lens but also reduce the amount of light reaching the sensor the worse that gets the worse the precision gets.
At least its not made by Madcatz.
I bought this.....and it fucking broke my kinect...
This is crap!, messed up the sensor capabilities for the kinect. Can't get it to work, what a waste of money and no I'm not calling support because I will just be told to rearrange my living room which is the problem with the kinect itself too. Thanks a lot for ripping me off and making me think I'd finally get 2 players to work on kinect.

My Zoom for kinect is terrible. I've followed all manuals, tried all angles, tried above TV, below TV, and the only effect I get is to get unrecognized 50% of the time. The game performance is poor, unresponsive. This is a downgrade to my kinect sensor. Even in a confined one-step-size playing area without your product is 100% better to play than with it. I'ts easier to play with my back stick to the wall than with zoom attachedt. That produt just makes kinect stupid.
