This was the only official Canadiens-Nordiques game ever played outside the province of Quebec
1st period goal: Lyle Odelein
2nd period goals: Vincent Damphousse, Lyle Odelein
3rd period goal: Benoit Brunet
Goalies: Patrick Roy (MTL), Jocelyn Thibault & Jacques Cloutier (QUE)

Every team played 2 neutral site games in 1992-93 and 1993-94. The battle of QC being played In Arizona was certainly weird but there were other weird ones like a Rangers-Devils game played in Halifax that season...
@@MarctheHabsFan In MLB, weird one was Blue Jays and Expos in Puerto Rico back when Expos played 1/3 of their home games there.
Jacques Cloutier was playing the role of 3rd goalie for the Nordiques in the 1992-93 and 1993-94 seasons. This game was one of his final 14 appearances in the NHL.

What a great example of the NHL's level of cluelessness at that time. They want to sell hockey to people in Arizona, so what do they decide is the best way to do it? By having two Canadian teams from as far away as possible play there lol. And here we are almost 30 years later and the Arizona hockey team is on life support and people are trying to get it to move to a Canadian market! What a mess.
