Isaiah Thomas is giving you FACE! You should've bought him a bottle of Aces Champagne, and RESPECTED him by wearing suits. That's why JORDAN will NOT appear on your show, because you lack CLASS, etiquette, and RESPECT. * Giving a basketball legend props from your endorsers and t-shirts to promote your show, is below petty. He is NOT a punk fan. He is an established gentleman, entrepreneur, ambassador and hall of famer legend. Jackson, you talk about LAST DANCE not giving Zeke a check for appearing on the show, but you guys don't pay him either, and stoop so low to give him a sh*tty carry bag to endorse your show and products. How can you look in the mirror? Watch @ 3:08 see Stephen Jackson... LIAR said you forgot about that, in an elevated tone of voice, then moments later when Zeke stares you down, you finch and said you remember that. Which is it? You remember or you don't? Here is a REMINDER. czcams.com/video/5d03Ma9_SK4/video.html
Bro, this man saved your career! How you “forgot about that story”??? And you still skated around telling the story but you laughing at Zeke with Oakley? #makeitmakesense though. All the stories you have and you “forgot” Zeke saved your career. The first thing you should’ve did on set and on camera was give this man his flowers and tell your audience about how you were out the league until Isiah put the call in for you. You still ain’t even address that story head on even after Zeke urged you to. But you turn around and laughing at him. He told you he owned the CBA and you said it was the worst shit ever..? Wow bro.
I've been watching NBA since 1965. This is the best and realest conversation I've ever heard by a player. Thank you Zeke.
You’re a liar talking ‘bout since 1965😂
Which ere was your favorite?
🙌🏾🙌🏾
Yeah. After I heard him on the Pivot Podcast and thought the same thing.
@@zamirandrews3389 You always love the era of your youth best I think. At least for me the era of WIlt and Russell and the clash of Sixers and Celtics (I lived in Philly at time) was really special. Jerry West, Baylor, Oscar etc. Next was the early 200s Sacto Kings (was living in Sac) was so fun to watch. Then came the Warriors run which has been so so good. I lived in Bay Area for many years and was there for the Warriors 1975 chip. I mostly missed the Jordan era, Life intervened.
1:16:49 Zeke turned into a villain so fast lol he super checked Stephen Jackson for cackling with Oakley damn I love Zeke 😂
💯🤣🤣🤣🤣
On souls 💯
“Isiah saved me 😉”
I thought Jack was a real one until I seen he was laughing at him on a earlier episode only snakes do that
Stephen is a real lame to laugh at Isiah like he did with Oakley and sit here in this interview and kiss his ass! #fakeAF
Good to hear somebody give Mark Jackson the credit he deserve 💯
(28:14)
FACTS👏👏👏
Yes, many coaches wouldn't have the guts to make that decision.
I remember when Mark was getting fired he said Steph and Klay was different and would change the game it’s crazy
agreed I never understand why hes not hired yet ? mans a good coach the warriors wouldnt be the warriors without him
@@ec5018 Warriors fan here who watched every game for them back then. I agree Mark deserves a lot of credit, but to me more so defensively. He made the Warriors a really good defensive team. Where he fell short imo was his offensive system. He played Steph at a heavy usage in a PNR offense. When Kerr came in their offense got a lot better because it incorporated more ball movement and Steph playing off ball, concepts Kerr got from Phil Jackson and Pop. They jumped from 12th to 2nd in offensive rating. I think Mark should get another shot but I think the Warriors had a hit a ceiling with him as their coach
Isiah is a brilliant, thoughtful, and tough shining example of Black Manhood. He is also sweet and sensitive, and ever so brave in the way he allows himself to be vulnerable. This interview was hilarious, deep, touching, and enlightening. It don't get no better than that. Much props to Zeek, Matt and Stak on this one.
💯🎯🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏
“Words carry Weight” Isaiah is one of the realest athletes to ever live!!! Salute to ATS for bringing one of the GOATS on the pod. The real Zeke!!
@papalane2729
Speak for yourself. Isiah Thomas is a pathological liar and a scumbag. He's envious and jealous of Michael Jordan.
Why would a cultural and global icon like Michael Jordan want to go on this show to talk to Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes? For what exactly? They're both two clowns.
Yeah he so real he didn’t want to shake MJs hands when they lost to Bulls. Made up some dumb excuse about ppl didnt shake hands back than, tho MJ shook his hands every time he lost to them. Way to keep it real Zeke!!
Lol he might as well have said ‘water is wet’ and you’re like WOW!! WHAT A PROFOUND STATEMENT! smh lol no wonder him and magic used to get along.
@@Airzy_723 they didn't. Celtics did the same sh.
words are all the weight in society they make people do everything they do and cause all the deviation from the truth.
It's scary to think about how much of what he said went over people's heads duet o conditioning and outright hatred. Zeek is the true definition of a Detroit Superstar. Someone who don't get the credit he deserves for the greatness that he displays.
Man really told the real lore to all of this 💀
The last 10 minutes of this was some really deep shit!!!!!
I feel for the okie doke … much respect now
Exactly Zeke really exposed the nba😳😳😳😳😳I always knew it was brainwashing but hearing it from him & really seeing how these narratives are created was shell shocking 80% of ppl are really controlled & told what to BELIVE & what to do & say as well hegemony I learned so much from this🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💯
@@carolynhayes6804 yeah they definitely have spent a crazy narrative over 40 years. I’m glad the social media/ internet has exposed things from yesteryear for what they really were not how they were told lol
This was a real “ALL THE SMOKE “ interview !
Best interview. Zeke is a living legend
He was sexually harassing women when he worked for the Knicks
I agree so good it was part 2
Actually like him after this session. Haven’t since the late 80s
@jordanmoody3201
Living legend of what exactly? 🤣
@@KINGAMIIAMKING a motherfucking legend.
Mad respect to Isiah Thomas..should have been on the 92' DreamTeam!!!
Sure as hell should've been.
I will click on any and every interview Zeke, Warren Sapp, John Salley, and KG do they all just give phenomenal interviews
Born and raised in Detroit. I never was a Piston fan but always liked Zeke. Each interview I see my respect is through the roof with this man! #11
Zeke is a real dude man, a legend that should be loved way more. What he's done in basketball and for basketball, as a Black Man and for the black community is unmatched.
As a man born in ‘94 this interview has made me respect Isiah Thomas so much more than I ever expected. The man’s a living legend. Salute.
One of the greatest X and O's players in NBA history.🏀💯 Mark jackson was black balled as an NBA coach, he was the blueprint for the Warriors.
I’m man enough to admit that this 2 part interview with Isiah has changed my whole perception on him. He’s a great businessman and the ultimate competitor. I’m forever a fan moving forward
Thank *GOD* this was a two-part episode! Zeke was out here dropping 💎💎
Six years ago I named my son Isiah as a sign of admiration and respect for the determination and will of this man. Hats off.
My son is also named Isaiah….spelled with the second ‘a’, but a great name nonetheless.
SMH 🤦🏽♂️ o ok 🤷🏽♂️ must not have had a daddddy 🇬🇧 🇵🇰
The year was 1993, I was 12yrs old in the 7th grade at Miller Middle School in Detroit… Had a class field trip to the Palace of Auburn Hills, this was in June so it was hot as hell… So we did everything in there from playing basketball on the court to eating where the players & families sit and eat at to how the PA system work, like full on tour… Now we’re at the end of the trip, haven’t seen not one Piston player all day… We’re getting ready to walk out of the palace and I’m ahead of the pack solo… We’re heading towards the coach buses, so I’m holding the door open waiting for all the other folks to walk out &💥 BOOM💥 Zeke comes out of another door in the hallway and for what felt like forever he dab me up, hugged me, gave me dribbling drills advice, and to continue to work hard in school talk all before being swarmed by classmates & teachers… This is the “BEST” in-depth interview of Zeke I ever seen👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Thank you
You know I had said the Magic Johnson episode was the best I had watched so far and then I really enjoyed watching Chuck.... but honest to God I've got chills right now this was the absolute best episode they have ever had!!! I am so Super 110% glad they had Isaiah Thomas on here!! This was phenomenal!!👏👏👏👏👏👏
Gained even more respect for Isiah. Dude really did things that have never been discussed. He owned the CBA at one point…..🤯🤯🤯🤯
He was trying to get the NBA to make the CBA the main development league for players......They made him give it up because he was chosen to coach the Pacers only for the NBA to create the G League 2 years later.
The last 10 minutes of this interview, where Mr. Thomas expounds upon the "draft, free-agent, trade" analogy....POWERFUL!!!!😲
I love how absolutely CALM this man is. I can listen to him all day
LEGENDARY INTERVIEW. *Isiah sat down with you guys and wore his heart on his sleeve.* R-E-S-P-E-C-T. This episode here was dope! Real smoke, so much smoke! Congrats to you guys for pulling this off.
You have great taste. I agree totally.
*on his sleeve.
Bu yes, great interview. Especially the Jordan Rules.
@@butchmondpunani9388 Honestly, I was typing instinctively and I totally didn't notice that I made that error. Yes, I am aware of the "...heart on his sleeve" idiom but I somehow made that typing error. *Thanks for bringing that to my attention.* I never would've noticed it if you didn't tell me.
In my book these interviews with legendary Isiah Thomas is the best ever on All Smoke
So far 👍👍
***Standing Ovation*** 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Absolutely awesome interview! 👊🏾
As an MJ and Kobe fan, this was one of the most eye-opening interviews that I've ever watched. I always thought Isiah was a salty man but I see now he's a basketball genius and a great man. It is true that in old highlights we only see the plays in which MJ got hit, but everybody would get hit back then. And his explanation of it was so logical and true, I lost a little respect for Jordan him going to the office complaining about them actually. And that Kobe story and the admiration in his eyes was so dope. I developed a ton of respect and love for Isiah after this interview. Media always mess everything up for the sake of marketing. This is a TRUE LEGEND with steel balls. Thank you for the history lesson, Zeke!
Forreal, they've created a false narrative around that man
Next guest should be Larry Bird ☘️
LOL at Jack for asking Zeke if he was shooting in the ocean because of his crazy three point percentage. It was also funny when he said the bubble crap don't count when the Nuggets went to the conference finals.
Detroit in the building, 7 mile, thank you zeke for showing us how a real gentleman communicates, and handles business, superb interview.
What up doe?! I grew up on 7 mile.
7 Mile and Ryan here till I was twelve, westside after that.
Dude is my favorite old player ever. His personality and sense of humor are great. Not one of the salty old players not trying to flex or anything super humble dude.
Exactly you can’t say he salty. He won back2back in the HEAT of it
Loved this interview with HOF Isiah Thomas! He provided great insight of his life especially with my Detroit Pistons!I am so proud of Isiah Thomas as well as the Up in smoke interviewers Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes!God bless you all!
"I was kinda good" Zeke, you were great.
Who beat everyone on the dream team #11🏀🐐
LOL!!! As he said don't call him a beast or any kind of animal. He definitely was a problem :)
@@rampaige4355 😎
I love Isaiah Thomas every time I hear him talk I'm captivated and the older that I've gotten The more I've come to appreciate him
I was always impressed with Zeke as a player but wow love the way he weaves a story and keeps it on the real
He definitely weaves a tale.. his own narrative. Mostly lies. Guy is a snake in the grass
Best Interview ever!!! He is like the uncle we all want.
That closing segment where he talks about how the NBA player is dehumanized was profound. Food for thought.
Right. That’s why everyone was coming down hard on some of these “analyst” shows because they were talking about those players as if they were some alien monsters not deserving of respect.
I wish they had a transcript for this conversation because he dropped so many gems
One of the most enlightening interviews ever
This Was Special Man…Zeke Really Took His Time With This And Respectfully Came With All The Smoke….A True Smooth OG…
Pt 2?! I was wondering why the first didn’t end in typical fashion 😂 Only for the Pistons LEGEND! Black King 🙏🏿🫡
MJ is going to take this interview personally
Yeah.
Who cares smh get your mouth off his Johnson 🤡🤡🤡
good lol
Doubt it. We know the truth behind all this. Zeke can do these interviews & play victim if he wants lol. Stop it
@@damienhodges9761 😂😂😂 like Oakley said “I kno why you mad Isiah , he came to your city and took your city that’s why you really mad , he took over Chicago !”
Well played ZEKE !!!! How you forget about this man saving you job
What an intellectual mind! I honestly wish there was a part 3, 4, 5, ……. and so on. Whole new level of respect for Mr. Thomas.
I showed up in a 3 piece suit not no jogging pants !
hint hint** MB & SJ 😂😂
Facts . They gonna need to coordinate outfits with future guest. Mr. Thomas was throwing elder, church pastor shots.
Grew up a Bad Boys fan, my respect for Isiah and this team just grows with time
Top 3 interview. Learned so much from Isiah. LEGEND.
these two parts of this interview is probably my favorite episode behind the shaq episode
Wow I’d never in my wildest dreams think that Isaiah Thomas would be one of y’all best episodes. This is up there with the KG episode!
Yessir. Gotta recognize. Best small PG ever besides Steph.. an steph not really a PG he a Combo guard.
That's an educated man who holds a master's in education.
*I'm an 80 baby and seen it all, Zeke and dem bois was beating MJ up by any means necessary. With that said, back then, it was a part of the game from the black top to the wood floors.*
I watched both 1 and 2 back to back. This show is bringing all kinds of smoke! This was that good-good!
Best interview ever. Matt and Jack were so intrigued with Isiah and his wealth of information. He really impacted the league and stood for something. Great job. I'm sure I'll share and watch again.
I don’t know if there was a more realer and more Informative interview on this show but man.. This was something 💯🙌🏽 All the Smoke man ya did it again!!
Isiah always has interesting stories all over CZcams
I know most like the cute jokes and all but Zeke is arguably the best to do it on and off the court. Nothing but love and respect to the OG for how he carries himself.
Absolutely a Fantastic Interview !!!! I hope they win an Emmy for this one.
I agree. I was happy they let it go for 2 hours.🙏
So glad somebody giving Mark Jackson flowers 🌺🌹
Zekes intellect and business savvy is top tier
Nearly 4 hours of I. Thomas sharing knowledge and stories still not enough. What a brilliant mind !
I feel the same way.
I always enjoy listening to Isiah Thomas interviews. He has some of the best stories.
Much respect, this is their best episode
Among hundreds of interviews I've seen from NBA contributors, this 2-part footage has easily become my favorite, especially in terms of gravity and reality. Thank you Mr. Zeke, you are my favorite all-timer. 🎩
The world needed to hear this. Shoutout to All the Smoke for giving him his flowers while he’s still with us.
Zeke should be voted in as commissioner of any sports league. Especially NBA.
Best Interview ever.
Always loved and love Isiah Thomas
Congrats to Matt and Jack
My favorite episode yet. I could listen to Zeke talk all day. I have a new appreciation for him after these interviews.
Coach Jackson gave them kids the super green light cuz he knew wat he had
I can exactly recall when he said THIS IS THE GREATEST SHOOTING BACKCOURT OF ALL TIME like in yr 1 or 2 when KLAY was still coming in and steph had the ankle injuries and ppl were questioning would he last. They laughed at MARK JACKSON now are they the best maybe but it definitely was closer to the truth than false
All the smoke continues with the 🔥 interviews. Give this man his respect beat Jordan, Bird, Drexler and Magic to get his rings.
And they all beat him 😂

All The Smoke family, THANK YOU for this 2-part interview. It was an awesome interview. I grew up watching Isiah and the bad boys pistons. Thank you Isiah for the great years. Great player and person.
I have really really really enjoyed this because I feel like Isaiah is finally getting to say things you just can't say with these other reporters that maybe went to college to get a reporting degree or whatever they call it.... Matt and Stack are the real deal and they know what's up and so players can talk to them and tell everything the way it should be!!! This is the absolute best show out there hands down for players for fans! For anybody who loves this game this is the show to be watching
Zeke is right on Mark Jackson. He used to demand those dudes take the wide open 3 on the fast break. It was mind blowing to watch.
I'm sick of the 3-pt contests each game, myself..
Zeke was already my favorite player growing up and playing ball as a young man in NYC but now as a 52 year old man I have even more respect for him as a man. We share many of the same principles.
My hometown hero 🦸♂️, Isiah Thomas aka Zeke who I grew up watching 👀 him do his magic 🪄 on the basketball 🏀 floor. I used to live 🏠 on Damen & Ohio St. 7 blocks away from the Chicago Stadium 🏟️ aka The United Center. One ☝️ day I would luv ❤️ to meet Isiah if he ever comes down to Orlando Fl. ☀️ Isiah tells it like it is. All facts, no BS. Matt & Staks thank U 🙏 for this awesome interview with my basketball 🏀 Icon. Chi-town Pride!!! God Bless!!! 🙏
Man so much game in these two episodes.. Real legend
Zeke has always been the most well spoken articulate players in the NBA even in his younger days
Wow this is hands down the best interview I’ve seen in a while 💯
Boy Zeke dropping too many jewels in this one 🙌
@ Ed Hubby: It's definitely "His story"!
Zeke,One of My Favorite Point Guards!!!!✊🏾✊🏾🏀🏀
New found respect for isiah after this episode. Well spoken.
He is so smart.
Zeke is my all time favourite point guard and as a human being I have always respected him. It was cool to hear Isiah give Pippen his props, even though Pippen has never given Isiah his props.
The best guest ever. Isiah Thomas. Those full games are all on CZcams.
Zeke & Joe Dumars were lights out 🌑
This is my favourite ATS interview so far. I have renewed respect and love for the great Zeke
Word
the magic Johnson was goated too
Mad respect for this man..
24:43 I say the samething sense I was a kid, Pippen is the best defender I ever got the chance to watch play the game.
He can guard every position. On defense he can play on ball, off ball, help side, dig in the paint and still recover, trap, full court… you name he was excellent on defense at it.
For me and maybe many others this is by definition Volte-Face. This interview required sincere reflection on my perception of Mr. Thomas and a real admittance of how the media has wrongly portrayed him and the Detroit organization. I share in the guilt of believing the hype and offer this written apology. This is perfect credence to the importance of a vehicle like "All the Smoke." I pray this show remains pure, untainted, and continues to highlight guest who know educate those who don't! I also pray the system never gets the opportunity to put up "smoke screens" because interviews like this shed a bright light when all the smoke clears....many blessings.
ZEKE is so real its SICKENING, you guys should interview all the badboys 💪❤💯
Awesome interview. Hopefully this touches the heart of others.
This is the 3rd time I’ve watched this episode! Blessings and flowers. What you brothers are doing is “SPECIAL!
This (by far) is the DEEPEST All The Smoke EVER!!!
Great Historian!!!!!!!! Go Isiah!!!!!
Man, Zeek out here tellin like it is. I love it
“I know a little judo.” This is conversation at the highest levels. Fantastic episode. Ya’ll’s candor and comfort level with your guests is unreal.
Man this two parter plus the one with Mahmoud are two of the most empowering and enlightening conversations I've ever listened to as a black man
I'm glad zeke is able to tell his story💯💯💯
Zeke is really a KILLA and you can see how excited he gets talking about fighting. Against centers that outweigh him by a 100 pounds! He is really into it, look at how he describes it.
Also he is clearly irritated by MJ being branded a killer and a ruthless competitor, yet the same guy that went to the league office to cry about hard fouls, and still cries about it to this day.
Mj isnt soft in general, but compared to the Pistons of that era, he is softer than charmin.
You do what it takes to win/succeed within reason. Jordan used his influence to dictate change that favored him. Isiah admitted that he contributed to an inaccurate depiction of KG with the hope that KG would fall to his team in the draft but at the same time when asked for an honest assessment from McHale told him exactly how highly he thought of KG.
“Dylon, Dylon, Dylon…” I ain’t mad at you Zeke….TALK YOU $HIT!!!!! 🔥🔥💯💯💯
The best podcast interview about the reality of nba. Thank to you isiah thomas for your good explanation
I have to say this Isiah Thomas is a great historian and story teller of NBA basketball. I consider him and Byron Scott to the best. Kenny Smith is in this company as well. Thank you Isiah
My respect for IT is now through the roof. He is now up there near the top with my all time favorite Kobe, he has done so much for NBA basketball it’s insane.
What an amazing video. For what this man has done for basketball, and his character is not talked about enough. Huge fan now of ALL THE SMOKE. Your gonna get a lot of smoke for this. He was real, genuine, an revealing of the behind the scenes culture of NBA Basketball. Zeke is the interview GOAT!
