  • Locker Nuts episode 590
So far, I've only taken home a van full of stuff form the locker that the prior owner sold me after moving to Hawaii. Now I'm back with my trailer and some help from Mason, ready to grab the rest of this packed 10x15 unit. Even though this was a private party deal, and we weren't expecting any surprises or treasures, this episode changes our mind. This is an exciting can't-miss episode of Locker Nuts!
This is part 4 of the "Moved to Hawaii" locker series.

Mason is such a good helper not afraid of the camera and I think you should ad him to your videos, especially when you have furniture to move. Way to go Mason.

Thanks so much Christine! I thought it was just an Ikea piece, which would still be cool but not terribly valuable. Thanks to your identification on it, looks like it's worth around $700 to $1,200 depending on which website I visit. Wowza!

I know its nice to have company and help, I just find it super chaotic. my favorite part about your channel is how organized and thorough you are. You show the exact interesting things for the exact amount of time to enjoy it, I even like watching you process garbage-You definitely have an eye for detail, and I appreciate your cadence. I know you have leveled up--and have to process faster to make those sweet, sweet dollar bills and help is required.

I look at the Bear thing from a hunters perspective. If the Bears were obtained for a food source I’m okay with it. And the hides were not wasted. But if it was just for sport and killed for the fun of it and not for food I definitely have a problem with it. We only kill for the soul reason of feeding our family.

O I hope you see this Jack, my dad was a tanner with the hair on. He worked at Custom Tannery in Santa Clara for over 30 years he was the formen.. It looks like Mike the bear hunters work. He made bear rugs for a living, he gave one to my dad as a gift for working so hard to get the capes out to him. I only wish that some how how old they are and who made them. Mike use to sell them by the foot. It was so nice to see the rugs. I miss my dad very nuch. Mike the bear hunter may be still around he was much younger then my dad.

Yes, the Mermaid items will sell good. Don't throw the broken ones out. Sell them all as a set, and let the buyer toss what they don't want. Be sure to show and tell about the damage though. If you can find the maker it might help raise the price too.

Mason seems like a nice young man. A good helper. Will dig right in. He also seems respectful. You need to teach him your gift of gab. 😁 Good to see Janna too. You know you could fill them wooden drawers with jewelry to display. And then set things on the shelves to show how beautiful they would be in there. You know that piece of furniture you want to keep and Janna said no! 😂None of my business. I loved this. Thanks for sharing I loved the bear rugs❣️You all stay safe and well. Love all the unexpected surprises in this locker Jack! The mermaids are probably 50s - 60s bathroom kitsch! You'd hang things like that in your bathroom to match the color tile you had in the bathroom, they might have some collectible value for ppl who collect that stuff! I remember as a kid having different size kitschy fish hanging in our upstairs bathroom, it was so obvious it was from that Era! Best of luck to you and Janna!

    Check the rosary:
750 Italy has two parts of representation within its name.
First off, the 750 is the representation of the purity of the gold used within a piece of jewelry. It is a small number engraved on gold jewelry to tell what Karat or percentage of pure gold is used.
750 means that the jewelry is 18 Karat gold. Real golden jewelry will almost always have numbers engraved on them. However, there are also lots of scammers who stamp fake pieces of jewelry themselves, so don’t automatically think that a stamped piece means it’s authentic.
Most engravings are hidden on jewelry to not ruin the look but can be found mainly on claps (for necklaces and bracelets) or the interior circle (for rings).
Other numbers stamped into jewelry can include 585 (14k gold), 417 (10k gold), 999 (24k gold), and other stamps depending on the amount of pure gold within the piece.
Secondly, Italy is the country where the piece was manufactured. So, if you have a piece of jewelry stamped 750 Italy, this means it is crafted from 18k gold sourced from Italy.

Cuff links are Japanese arch. The plaque may be the family coat of arms. Siam = Thailand. It IS a library ladder. REAL cameo's are carved into the base, not glued on. The circle with the cross is a finger rosary. The Limoges pieces may be a bedroom dresser set -- powder and a jewelry / ring dish. The mermaids may be vintage bathroom decor. FUN unboxing!!
