As long as you have a composer's account you should be good for collecting. The publisher's account is more if you're starting a production team or taking care of other artist's publishing for them.

Thanks for your info bro. I have a question on how to sync a Yamaha Motif Workstation in Midi. What's the correct way connecting the Motif to the MPC Live 2 so I use the sounds in Midi form? I can't find a good quality video on that.
Midi is only a control signal. It tells the Motif what notes to play, and conversely midi out from the Motif tells the MPC what notes to record/sequence. You still need the Motif audio to either go into an interface/mixer, or back into the MPC inputs so you can record them. I haven't done any tutorials on it because I don't have external keyboards any more, but I will try to put something together. So for midi:
•Motif midi out -> MPC Midi In
• MPC Midi out -> Motif Midi In.
For audio: Motif stereo out -> MPC inputs or additional channel on your mixer/interface.

Should I create a LLC for both as a writer and a publisher?
No, u actually don't even need to create an LLC, you can make ur company sole proprietorship and just add the income to your personal taxes every year. I should have broken down that part more in the video but I didn't want to make it too long. That may be easier for you, but if you create an LLC you have to make sure to get the company it's own bank account and only use the income for business related things (gear, internet, etc.) It's a bit more work to keep organized but I find it easier to get started with those good habits.
One company is all that's necessary, to answer your question. Writer account should be your name and SSN. For more detail check out a channel by Tynia Coats.

I like this but the publishing part is so deeper than that, that if not talked about in depth you mislead the potential business consumer.
There's only so much that can be covered in the timeframe of most people's attention, and I have every intention of building content around this "general statement" video, but taking the first steps and getting the business started has always been the hardest part for most creatives looking to start a business. I don't know what you mean by "business consumer" though. I'm not addressing business consumers, I'm speaking to creative people who want to start earning with their art and work. At the very least they will have the starting blocks to get experience in the industry by releasing their own products.

I understand your point was to produce a good thing as I noted however when it comes to publishing I wouldn't touch the subject unless it was within a deep detailed manner. Managing publishing is not a piece of cake, it's so vital that misunderstanding it can cause harm to a person creative/ business aspirations. FTR I have an LLC and pro but I won't touch publishing until I get fully educated on it because it's to important to partially understand...

What you're referring to is actually trademark research, and it can be very intensive to find out if a trademark is in use. The good thing about the entertainment industry is that usually it's as simple as doing a Google search for the name and looking for a domain/website that it using it. If someone else has "FireBeatProductions.com" then it's probably best to come up with a new twist on it or something new altogether.
