That guy didn't wanna trade his Ruth and Cobb. The entire time he's trying to talk himself out of it but gives in because he's dealing with an influencer on camera. Why he'd be willing to move either of those for a Trevor Lawrence is beyond me. That card won't hold it's value long term.

Vintage guy is a genius that y’all don’t even realize what he did. He basically got that T Law for free lol. I think he isn’t being honest when he says that he only deals in vintage now. If that were true he wouldn’t be making that deal in the first place. I think what his genius strategy is, is to find people who want to get into vintage who have high end modern and use his vintage collection for leverage. Anyone who is tired of the up and downs of modern and wanting to get into high end vintage are in the honeymoon phase so they pay up just to get into it and get some stability and cool cards. So I think he talks up the aspects of vintage then down the aspects of modern and he comes up with an extra 15-20% on the deal and cash no less.

In my opinion, The collector was right about his cards (Vintage) would sell better and be worth more be in the long run , there is less of it. The market is so saturated with all these new ultra modern cards coming, refractors pink, blue yellow , gold turquoise I mean dam how many color variations can you get ??? He looked up his own cards on mile high . Like geoff said , those cards are for his personal collection if anything the value of those cards will not drop significantly unlike like the new cards makes you wonder if the player will go " COLD" or " HOT ". Anyway just my thought and opinion on these video. That's all folks

I sold all of my football cards the day I saw Brock Purdy cards selling more than a 15+ year Tom Brady career, because Brock had a good half season…… and I’m from SF and a49er fan lol

I get it..people see oh..only 32 teams...thats 32 qbs...and only 10 of them are hot...so i could focus on 10 cards/plays instead of a larger lot of nba cards/plays...and be a safer bet? But I dont see it that way...only ONE of those qbs are gonna win each year!! That's ridiculous odds...id rather hold nba players who can change their values game to game/not mentioning playoffs etc, than waiting for ONE qb to hit the jackpot...😅

A legit trading strategy is to talk until you wear down and confuse the seller. It hurts for repeat deals but its a valid strategy
