I do agree that it's crazy that '52 Mantle got a PWCC-A sticker with a big crease on it and that dude's was way nicer looking. Stuff like that really hurts their company even more.

It’s a great buying opportunity compared to what it was two years ago. The real question is how many people are out there looking to invest 30K on a card.
Two years ago, you were selling this type card to average Joe’s not people in the card business. Now it’s dealer to dealer, no more crazy margins. Without another influx of newbies, y’all are just trading with yourselves.

I really appreaciate how u deal with the kids... we all started like that and its always nice when the older guys not trying to rip off the younger ones. Im 42 now but when I was 12 years old at a card show someone talked me out of my own pulled michael jordan scoring king card and I never forgot that. cheers mate & thx for the content

Yea man i got dogged on some big stuff as a kid from some greedy old folks and seeing the market movers team coaching and helping young kid entrepreneurs is refreshing.
Was watching and love how honest he is with the younger kids, making sure they can learn about pricing and trading within the hobby!
@@Cardcitysports I got ripped off in Brooklyn a lot when i was a kid in the late 80s by greedy low life card dealers (most slobs)....lucky we're talking about peanuts compared to the amounts I deal in now...maybe got scammed for 500-700 bucks in all over the years

I gave my PSA 10 Westbrook to a OCK fan for FREE. I wouldnt touch Westbrook for anything. if you're a fan, just wait 5 years and his prices will look like Carmelo's.
Only reason to buy Tatum cards is if you're a Celtics fan building a PC. He is one of the best young talents for sure. But he's not an investment, dont expect his prices to go up over the next 10 years. @@chrisf3109

Luka's market is still high. Hobbyists like to hold on to them unless they are getting really close or over comps. I'd love to include a jersey patch from National Treasures or Immaculate. But I stay true to serial number collection. I also love the Trevor Lawrence Downtown negotiated at 4:14. Lots of great content in this video. Thanks for the Show. Like comment subscribe.

Geoff , I love what you do for the hobby and how you truly believe the kids are the future of the hobby. My question to you is do you ever feel uncomfortable making deals with kids ? I know you are more than fair and honest but how do you feel about dealing with kids ?
I noticed that he consistently names the price first, and it appears his goal is a 100% equitable trade with each younger kid.
Yes Geoff is more than fair in the deals he does with kids. He is a good guy for the hobby.
I mean I can’t speak for how Comfortable Geoff is making deals with kid. He is always very straight up with kids tho and tells them what he is willing to sell at and what he is willing to pay. I always appreciate people like that. I think he often gives the kids the a bit of the edge on the deal too.
If only Market Movers actually worked like that it would be a great tool.
Tua is Him! Since 2020 everyone been buying Burrow and Herbert and I been getting steals for Tua’s for a fraction of these other guys and like last year he is running circles around every 2020 QB! By the end of this year Tua will be outselling all 2020 QBS!

I was 10 in the late 70s going to the card shows whenever they would have them in Portland. I would also buy cards through the mail. The other day I was looking through some stuff and there was an order for some cards I had written out, but it was obviously not the final draft I sent. But it blew my mind cuz it was years somewhere in 1960-61-62 and it was a Mays Aaron & a Mantle MVP. And the total price was $6.50 for all three. I gasped when I saw it. I know the Mantle was good condition but don’t recall the other two’s condition. But even if they were vg-ex it’s still pretty silly. Then I took a glance through the first Beckett Price Guide from ‘79 and that’s a page turner. The biggest takeaway was that there just weren’t that many cards! Cuz it’s only ‘79 and earlier🤷🏻♂️

I feel like NBA players are linked to championships. If Luka wins a championship his cards will sky rocket and maintain value. If it is perceived the Mavericks can't win a ring it will hurt his value potential.

I think Luka's card prices are ridiculously low. People are paying way more money for guys like Purdy and Pickett and they haven't proven themselves. With Doncic, you KNOW this guy is going to continue to produce and put up big numbers. It's an easy decision to buy his RC's NOW.

Offering $2k after the exact card quite literally sold yesterday for $2.8k is wild. What makes him think you’d sell for 30% less? If he’d have offered $2.2 or 2.3 in hopes of ending up around 2.5, that’d be much more reasonable. $2.5k cash basically ends up being the same net $ for Geoff since he didn’t have to pay eBay fees.
Live show and cash is always less than online. You’re not paying fees or worrying about tax, also. Still was low, but $2800 online is not $2800 cash in person.
You will never get 100% comp value in person ever. You aren't paying any fees your also not paying any income tax which helps ALOT and no issues with shipping. Plus cash is king and also it wasn't 2.8k cause he instantly took 2500 so 2k cash is actually a very good offer.

I think the market on Luca is low compared to some other players. That being said there is no way I'd buy any ultramodern cards. I think the ultra modern market especially in basketball has some room to go down. Ultra modern is like hot potato the last guy holding bag is going to be in trouble.

I do not get why people like/value cards printed today of players from the past. I would NEVER buy a 2022 Shaq card or whatever. Especially considering they release so many of them for each player. Its a scam IMO
