Love your content! Just binge watched it all. Would love to hear about how to learn to ask powerful questions as a scrum master. Sometimes my first instinct is to try and help my team fix things but I know that’s not helping them.

@@ericacarrie6408 yes! I finished and passed! The course was very straight forward and my instructor was very knowledgeable and transparent. I have yet to apply for any positions though I’be been actively looking. I’m honestly scared and nervous to take that leap 😅
@@its-dynaisha how difficult was the exam and did you do any mock exams for it
@@phylnnlove631 The exam was not difficult at all. It’s all multiple choice and most questions were very direct. Not many were situational questions. I was able to use my notes on a few questions I was unsure of. My instructor advised not to use any mock exams because they are very misleading and do more harm than good for the actual exam. You get 2 attempts to take the exam free and have to pay for every attempt after. I was able to pass on the first attempt.

I got certified in 2018. But I have NO desire to do it. I like to design. In fact I'm looking for a solutions architect position. The right one. Fortunately I don't have to work. So I can be picky. But I am watching your vids. I have a couple friends who are excellent Scrum Master's.

As someone who has recently been thrown in the deep-end as a Scrum Master to be (without any previous experience or training I might add) for a new role within the company I work for these videos are great and feel more authentic than many training videos I have seen..
I’d love see some content or your thoughts on the best ways of implementing/introducing an existing Dev team to an ‘Agile’ way of working for the first time.. where do you begin..
Do you go in all guns blazing throwing words like Agile / Scrum about 😄, or do you implement changes gradually getting the team and myself and their immediate mangers on board working in an ‘Agile’ kind of way or do you just go for it and tell the team!
I should say we are an IT company but not specifically coding so a different kind of approach to ‘Agile’ may be better?

Thank you for these videos. I'm in a new role as Project Manager for my dept. and I'm trolling CZcams for anything related to PM. I'm sure Scrum may be a bit advanced for what I'm doing/looking for but do you have any tips or resources you've used that would be beneficial for someone in my situation?
Congrats on the new role. My favorite site is scrumguides.org to review what the various terms are and why they are important. I would start with the scrum guides and continue to watch videos, read articles and network in group like meetups or clubhouse.
