Nadine Dorries being on the front bench of the government lends weight to the theory that Boris Johnson appoints people who are less intelligent and competent than him, so that he doesn't feel challenged, and yes, the bar is set pretty low.

As somebody who works in consultations in another sector, I can tell you that sadly in the cases of big decisions, the consultation is done after the decision has been made for public relations purposes, then used to apparently justify with evidence why the decision is being made. Or the research methodology is constructed in such a way to deliver a particular result.

If the multiverse is real, if there are indeed different branching realities for every single different outcome in any given situation then that means there is a reality out there somewhere in which Nadine Dorries actually knows something. For this reason and this reason alone I'm confident that the theory of the multiverse is bonkers.
