I like Kemi, but she has no right to talk about "if you vote Reform, you get a Labour landslide", sorry but if you (the conservative government) had taken your jobs seriously and delivered on your promises we wouldn't be voting Reform. Your party has proven beyond doubt that you no longer deserve our support, if that means we have to suffer through a few years of Labour in the hope of eventually getting something better, so be it, as we cannot carry on being constantly failed by your conservative government, this is YOUR fault, not ours, Kemi.

The problem is Labour manufacture original problems out of nothing. Tories are only bad in as much as they refuse to clear up Labour's mess. Labour are Tories double, in that sense.

@@ianinkster2261 But it's not just that they refuse to clean up Labour's mess, they reinforce Labour's values more than we could have ever imagined. While Labour opened the doors to mass immigration, under the conservatives we're seeing numbers entering the country that utterly dwarf anything Labour ever did. Under this conservative government we've seen woke policies run wild, with people getting visited by the Metropolitan Gestapo if they dare to acknowledge basic biology and "misgender" someone. We have "drag queen story hour" at primary schools, we have innocent teachers forced to live in hiding because the government refuses to deal with Islamists, etc, etc, etc... I don't want a Labour government, but I CAN NOT vote for these conservative imbeciles any more...

She will have regular contact with local councillors in her constituency, assisting in local initiatives and campaign for funding as well.
If constituents complain about bin collections at her surgeries, all she'll do is inform the local council of the complaints because it's a local government issue. I suppose if the local council come back to her and say they need more money from central government, she could bring up the matter at PMQ.

The "a vote for reform is a vote for labour" argument is disingenuous. Let's presuppose Reform is your preference and consider all options; yes voting Reform they are very unlikely to get power (but may get a seat or two in parliament). Option 2, not voting at all, they are less likely to win. Option 3, vote Conservative, reform are less likely to get anything, Option 4, vote Labour, reform are less likely to get in. When you think about your own vote, if you vote anything other than your preference, or no vote at all - you are less likely to get what you want. That fact does not change. Its only natural the tories make the "split vote" argument as they know they are going to get trounced, but make no mistake if they were not they would also make the "vote for your principles" argument. Each individual has only one vote, and each vote is equal. Therefore the most logical thing to do is vote for what you want. People may say it is a "wasted vote." No its not. All votes are worth the same. So they won't win. That may be true but they definitely won't win if people don't vote. A clever tactician will successfully convince people that noone else wants it, that there are not enough others and therefore it is 'wasted.' Its never wasted.
