    Excellent work! Looks very nice! I am also curious to see how it will handle off-road.

    Good video. I went with the Shinko 244 for the back and am using the stock tires for my front to keep the weight down. Cheers👍

    Nice video!! Very handy. Why you didnt put the same tyre on the front wheel?

    Nice what about the front? Why did you not go with the 244?

    Are those dual sport tries compatible with those red puncture proof insert things???

    Why didn’t you replace the front tire as well? How much did you pay for the tire(s)? I see that Luna Cycle has a 2 tire supermoto kit for $350. Comes with rims 13g, brake disks, 42 tooth sprocket and proper sized chain. Seems like a badass upgrade that would give you the ability to quickly switch back and forth from the off-road knobby to the street supermoto when you want.

    Hey just installed this tire on my sur ron but the bike feels really unstable, it slightly wobbles at high speeds and just doesn’t feel right. I’m wondering what could be the cause

  • @solardiymadesimple.3779
    @solardiymadesimple.3779 Před 5 lety +4

    You could have used the 3.5 but you would have to shave some of the tread off. I will Look forward to your review on this tyre and how it works off road.👍

    I was watching this earlier this morning and then we just spoke a little bit on your other video... on the talaria you think the rear will fit the 3.50 and then still the 2.75 on the front... I like the shinko tires

    • @electricisbetter
      @electricisbetter  Před 2 lety

      Pretty sure the 3.5 will fit good on the rear. I have a 3.5 on the rear of my surron right now and it's very snug. The talarias swing arm is a extra inch wider so I think it'll work great. I'll be sure to make a video about it

    Hi Sonic. Hey do you set the torque on your bolts after removing and reinstalling the tires? Or do you just use a standard ratchet to tighten and it feel?

    • @electricisbetter
      @electricisbetter  Před 5 lety

      Standard ratchet is what I used!

    • @marklorenfahey4942
      @marklorenfahey4942 Před 5 lety

      Sonic Riders so you just tighten it to feel? I have seen others use digital and standard torque wrenches to get it to exact factory specs.

    How did u shave the side of tyre’
    What is the process? Also how much tread did u take off?

    • @electricisbetter
      @electricisbetter  Před rokem

      With this tire I didn't have to. I have other tires that are wider and needed trimming. You can just use a survival knife to cut the nobs. Otherwise if your willing to spend some $$ these tend to work best. • @aaahillshandyman..bellavis864

    Check your chain tension. Looks too tight and you will put too much load on the chain and sprockets.

    • @CCGORE
      @CCGORE Před 2 lety +3

      The sur rons chain has a jackshaft thru the axle of the swing arm making it able to hold much more tension than a regular dirtbike without damage. Due to the sprockets being directly inline with one another the tension never changes and can stay tight without worry of stretching the chain.
