Electric really still isn't there yet. Sure, it can accelerate mass quicker. But longevity... I don't buy a car to use it for 15 minutes a day and then plug it in for 6 hours. I want it to fuel in 5 minutes, and use it for 36 hours. And I don't buy a car with the thought of replacing it within a decade. In fact, I still daily drive a 1984 El Camino. I can't upgrade what's already perfect.

Ive had this opinion for a while, i HATE electric bikes, not because they are bad, just because their kindove boring and lame. Electric bikes are objectively better in many race applications and it sucks because they are so dam boring. Going 150 on an electric just doesnt feel the same as 60 on a gas. There is a reason why high reving 200cc bikes exist.

The only thing an electric bike can't do that a gas bike is go far

It ISN’T there. It’s a joke, a bad one. Couple laps, then recharge for many hours. Ridiculous. They will just be toys until the battery life and flammability issues are solved.
