I'm privileged to say I lived in Buenos Aries for 2 years. Great people, massive passion for life, this entire concert epitomises what I love about Argentina
Adelle
I second that. Been in Argentina Buenos Aires and Cordoba. The most lively people I have ever met. They love life and they they find happiness in every single event. Amazing people. I miss their vibe already ❤️
Tell the truth Jason they have you captive you dare not sau any thing bad about them.
Siempre los recibiremos con los brazos abiertos.
I'm from Argentina and any concert at that stadium is always the same. No matter of what band plays there . Although when my home team plays there River Plate ⚽ team it gets 10 times more crazier . I was at that concert and seen : The Police - Clapton just to name a couple of many I've seen. But nothing like the Copa Libertadores 2018 🏆⚽
That was a very young crowd. Young and active! They knew the lyrics. They knew all of Angus' riffs and moves. That was a real crowd, perhaps the best ever.
After this recital, the River Plate stadium was closed for recitals because the sound of the band and the jumping of the public caused movements and cracks in the nearby buildings. Recitals could not be held for several months. It was epic!
I attended that concert and needed 4 days to recover my body after it !!! I've seen a lot of concerts around the world (lived about 20 years abroad in 8 countries) and I can tell ya, .... WE have definitely the best crowd in the world. Greetings from Argentina !!!
Angus Young was asked what it was like to be the best guitarist in the world his reply was your asking the wrong brother RIP Malcolm Young
🙏🙏🌹
Why would any one ask either brother that question, they should not even be mentioned in that category.
@@patrickkelly7085 Eddie Van halen was worse than Angus
@@conorhayes8818 Lots of pro guitarists were and are worse than Angus my reply was to some one who thought Angus and his brother were the best.
@@patrickkelly7085 Sure Bud. Go back to listening to folk music, this ain't your thing
Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson was 63, Angus Young was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎🍸
The entire River Plate gig is phenomenal! You have to watch more tracks from this gig, you won’t regret it
AC/DC and River Plate...perfection! Highway to Hell is awesome from there too plus A Whole Lotta Rosie.
What a crowd! What a gig! Epic!
EI MEJOR PUBLICO DEL MUNDO.! Saludos desde Argentina!!!!
🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Seen them 11 times, they never cease to be awesome!
"They are understanding the assignment." 😂
Yes, they certainly are. 🙌🙌🤟✌️
Guys, you got to listen to AC/DC - TNT Live At River Plate . Same concert. Watch the audience. Well done on the channel 👍🤟
I've seen this video many times and I could watch it over and over again. That's the best crowd I've seen personally and the old boys sound fantastic. I've always thought you could tell the real merit of a band by how they sound live and ACDC absolutely has the skills to pay the bills. No doubt. Great reaction fellas
An american crowd would never be this exciting.
Amazing video guys, there also a video called Argentina best crowd ever, it's with English and Spanish subtitles, it's an hour long video of a compilation of artists talking about Argentina's crowds, you maybe wanna take a look at it, it is worth every single second
"You shook me all night long" from the same gig is EPIC!!!!!!
This whole concert (I think that actually they filled this stadium 3 days in row) is awsome. Here they are just warming up (Angus ends up with only wearing his shorts, socks and shoes). Check out some more from this event. You know you won´t be disappointed.
Of cource the crazy crowd does not hurt either.
I think they played to 150,000 people in all over the three nights!!
I had the dvd of that show it was shot over 3 nights and remember watching the bonus features and it have footage from a radio station where they were giving away tickets and some the reactions when they found out they won tickets , they were literally crying with joy, so I'm not surprised the crowd was amazing the stadium was full diehard fans
Whole lotta Rosie(from the RIVERPLATE of course 😃).
Can't tell you how pleased I am that you may reacting to this oh so special gig.
Thanks for your always great reactions🙂💥🤘👍
Yesssss!!!! Whole Lotta Rosie is EVERYTHING!!!
I was 57 this week and these guys prove that being old is something to fight. Fight against the dying of the light. Brian Johnson and Angus Young are my proper heroes. ❤❤
Brian Johnson, born and brought up in Newcastle north east England, same place as Sting and more recently Sam Fender, some of the best from here
knopfler
@@natmanprime4295 brothers
Hank Marvin and Bruce Welsh of The Shadows also born in Newcastle
@wim caubergs I forgot the lead singer with AC/DC is from Newcastle
you need to hear Angus Young's long guitar solo during 'Let There Be Rock' at River Plate. it's phenominal
Amamos la música, y lo demostramos! Jajja excelente reacción!! 🇦🇷💜
Alright lads??👌 Hell's Bells from the same concert is fucking amayyyzing..check out when Brian rings a huge bell and the drum's kick in,the crowd start bouncing and loudly singing between lyrics..its a goosebumps type moment
I saw them live at the Wembley Arena in around 2002 during their Stiff Upper Lip Tour. And they were awesome then. What you see is what you get.
As much as I'm into my Dance music, I do love me some classic Rock and would love to see AC/DC live. I actually live right next to the Bon Scott statue here in Scotland too where we hold an annual three day 'Bonfest' festival in memory of the man with tribute bands and AC/DC fans worldwide coming to attend 😊
Hey, I live around the corner from the Bon Scott statue in Fremantle. Small world.
@@seedy80
The difference is he is actually buried in Fremantle.
By the way Freo going pretty good ay, but - We Are The Navy Blues 😉
@@SirSSau I barrack for the Dons and don't want to talk about it 🤐
@@seedy80 🤣 yeah! I know the feeling
@@seedy80 Mate, I'm a Swans fan....and I definitely don't want to talk about it after yesterday!😢
Great review guys. Riverplate and AC/DC go together like Burgers and fries ! Another great crowd pleaser from this concert is ‘The Jack’ . You gotta check it out for Angus Young’s ‘performance’ alone ! Keep the vids coming, diggin’ it ! Rock on !!! 🎸
My husband’s grandparents lived next door to Brian Johnson. My husband said it was great that Brian would come over and hang out, sing some Irish Tunes.
ACDC fué impresionante pero tambien cuando viene Metallica, Foo, Megadeth, todas las bandas de rock yl metal.
Hace poco estuvo Metallica y ellos subieron los videos tocando Seek and destroy y Creeping death...... impresionante !!!
Ahi estuve...
Ive been to several of their concerts you leave your body when the crowd gets going it's a different level!!!! SO AWESOME
hello!!...excellent reaction!!...after seeing this video you have to see the video "best crowd ever"...which deals with the Argentine public at concerts...obviously the best in the world!! ...Thank you
ANYTHING at River Plate is crazy but Whole Lotta Rosie will truly blow your minds!! It ROCKS!
,SALUDOS ARGENTINA AMAMOS EL ROCK VIVIMOS CON PASIÓN !!!!!
Well, you should check the video "Best Crowd Ever", to see how normal it's a crowd like this in Argentina. BTW, if you are impressed by River Plate you should check the artist Indio Solari, in Tandil, which is a hippodrome (because a stadium is not big enough for his fans)😄
Ileana: "because a stadium is not big enough for his fans" -> SO TRUE 😂🤣😂🤣 (this folks didn't learn the lesson that Dave Mustaine from Megadeth learned in Argentina: "¡Aguante Megadeth!")
Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷 estuve en ahí!!!
Amazing to think l used to see them at my local pub in Melbourne on a Saturday night in front of a hundred people and look at them now.
Highway to Hell from that River Plate concert is also great....well they all are from that concert tbh...I was lucky enough to see them at Wembley on this tour...can't believe it was well over 10 years ago now!
Do you know the punk band The Ramones? They filled the same stadium in their last concert in Argentina. With Iggy Pop and Die Toten Hosen as support groups. They weren't that big in USA, LOL. When we Argentinians love a band, we really show it.
Despite all the futile online discussions about who is the best vocalist and front-man between Bon Scott and Bryan Johnson, to me one thing holds truth: They're 2 incredible individuals that helped to make AC/DC as timeless and as good it is and will forever be! If those 2 had ever met in real life, i assume they would have a great time together!
They did meet in real life
Quite simply the best band ever. AC DC just does something to me. It's pure magical rock n roll
This was the track that saved a captive US serviceman in Somalia (Blackhawk Down) . Blasting out from speakers on a helicopter flying low over Mogadishu. They knew it was his favourite track. He heard it and managed to signal from his cell and later rescued.
Edit…. I stand corrected, it was Hell’s bells apparently. I’ll go sit in the corner🤪
@Bad Boys Boogie . Think you are right actually. First time story came out it was Thunder Struck. Still a great story though
The official video for THunderstruck is f*ing awesome as well.
750K a night for 3 days. Over 2m total.
One of the best live bands ever saw them 4 time's and I'm 53yrs old.
When you see this band live, you never forget it ! Saw them play live in '88, was deaf for a week ! xx
The lead singer Brian Johnson is from Newcastle the same city as Sam Fender and Mark knopfler from Dire Straits, and congratulations on 69k guys👍🏼🤟🏻
Yeah man, was wondering if the lads had heard dire straits before, if not think that would be a great reaction
The young brothers were from Scotland.
@@dib000 And Mark Knopfler was born in Glasgow (same as his brother David).
@@fibrown444 was just going to say mark knoplers Scottish and moved to Newcastle, only found that out the other month
@@dib000 there older brother was in flash and the pan , waiting for a train
If you played in a band in front of that crowd, what would your adrenalin level be like? AC/DC, this was their greatest ever gig.
I've always loved the way they look like they're just taking a break from a building site, Angus excluded of course.
Argentina's crowd are always amazing, they are bye far the best audience in the world. Greetings from Córdoba.
I saw ACDC back in the day .. maybe around 78, in a 1500 capacity local theatre in Blackburn, Lancashire. One of the best gigs ever 🙂🙂
Likewise ... Hanley, Stoke on Trent and Trentham Gardens, Stoke also - Free-trade hall Manchesater sounded awful cause it had the acoustics of an empty school gymnasium ... ruined the sound - but the other small venues like you described, ... ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING .. I'm guessing you know what I mean about them opening with a massive low pitched thundering from the PA system like it had gone wrong, only for it to suddenly go off AND THERE WAS ANGUS ON TOP OF HIS AMPS playing the intro to RIFF RAFF or possibly LIVE WIRE ... I think they varied which they opened with ... that FRANCE video of them in 78 shows them opening with Liove wire but it was RIFF RAFF when I was there. I didn;t even SEE them apart from on a huge screen last time I went to Wembley Stadium, even though I wasn't that far back - it was just impossible to see anything but other people's heads and the giant screens. Give me a 1500 seater any day rather than 80,000 at Wembley.
@@stephenbrough8132 .. It was great gig and the acoustics were fine. It was the first time I'd seen a "wireless guitar" set up. Angus crowd surfed while playing the mid solo of "Let there be rock" . Bon Scott on vocals (rip)
That crowd !!
Best crowd on the planet, well done Buenos Aires
Angus and Malcom Young, the founders of ACDC, are Scottish.
When time travel is invented, i'm going to that concert!
Next one should be For Those About To Rock. Final song of the concert…mind blowing!
AC/DC - Hells Bells (Live At River Plate, December 2009)
AC/DC - Live At River Plate
AC/DC-The Jack from Live at River Plate
AC / DC “ Whole Lotta Rosie at River Plate
AC/DC Highway to Hell Live At River Plate
AC/DC - T.N.T. (Live At River Plate, December 2009)
END WITH A BANG!! | AC/DC - For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) (Live At River Plate)
AC/DC- You Shook Me All Night Long from Live at River Plate
AC/DC FIRST TIME LET THERE BE ROCK LIVE RIVER PLATE
I never saw anything intense like this ACDC concert in Buenos Aires 2009 ....... maybe the performance of QUEEN at Live Aid 1985 is comparable, but that gig was only 20 minutes long and not 2 hours, like this.
I was meant to see AC/DC in Manchester but Brian Johnson’s voice had given out and the tour was cancelled. Still gutted to this day. What a band! 🤘
This is AC/DC lite cant get used to the new guy..ha ha ha. Saw them on their world tour with Bon Scott in Manchester UK 1978 now that was a concert definitely in my top 3 I`ve ever attended.
@@brianshockledge3241 nice!!
I’m on 5 0r 6 memory shot AC/DC gigs first those about to rock you tour 82 Birmingham totally addicted.
Never saw Bon gutted but love Brian.
I’ve been 1000’s from gigs in small church halls to huge stadiums AC/DC just have that stage presence and are loved by young and old.
Check out airborne not as big but cracking band.
Unfortunately axel took over from Brian when he lost his voice so I cancelled otherwise it would have been 7
AC/DC out of this world, first saw Brian Johnston sing in a group called Geordie in the early 1970s at the Mayfair Newcastle On Tyne. Knew then he was going to be awesome.
AHH the Mayfair...great memories of that place ❤️💖❤️💖 Loved the City Hall too. 💖💖💖
@@deewhobewatty9003 City Hall was class, Beautiful building, I loved the Mayfair every Sat night, saw many a group there. ie: Susie Quotro, Arthur Brown and his Crazy works of Fire. And many more.Very sad they knocked down and built the Gate. I try and get back home every year, loads memories.
I first saw them on Rock goes to college on BBC2 in 1976, I was 14 and totally blown away. They’ve been my favourite band ever since.
I've seen them 3 times live. Best stadium rock band ever. Crowd goes bananas everywhere they play.
Argentinian audience always enjoy 100% passion, with all bands, national and international ones 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Mark: Wrong. Crowd goes little bananas in every other country. Crowd goes big bananas in argentina. Look for more footage of argentinian crowds on CZcams. Watch and learn.
All the AC/DC River Plate concert is amazing, Back in Black/Whole lotta Rosie .....
My dad was playing their music to me way back in the the 70's. Still love it.
Here is a list that you should try (in any order):
-Let There be Rock - official video or Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon)
-Whole Lotta Rosie (Live at River Plate) - (With Brian)
-TNT (Live at River Plate) - (with Brian)
-Riff Raff Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon)
- The Jack Live at River Plate - (with Brian)
- Its a Long Way to The Top (If you wanna Rock n Roll) - (with Bon)
-For Thouse About to Rock - Live at River Plate (is The Last song from the concert)
I would add Jailbreak (Live at Donington) to this list.

Saw them in the 80s at The Monster Of Rock concert UK....nothing compares to being in that crowd 👹
Yes! Sadly I never got to Monsters but love Download
Neighbors said the buildings around the stadium were shaking like on an earthquake! Yep, Argentinian crowds are loud and enthusiast. I can tell...
I have the chance to see some shows all over the world cause I love music. The way we feel / live and love music in Argentina is totally different. I can’t understand the passivity of the crowds in Europe and USA. I think because of our passion of soccer, we sang the guitar chorus every single theme. You must watch “Indio Solari JI JI JI” but in a live show, he made the largest circle pit in the world. I love my country 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷 thx you so much for your video! Greetings from the other side of the world 😂
Legendary.
LOVE the North Wilkesboro Speedway shirt! It's going to be so cool seeing racing again there next year. I think they're in the process of installing the SAFER barriers now.
Seen them in Sydney and was amazing, ears rang for days, Thunderstruck tour
This past weekend has been a great music love-fest at the 50th anniversary Glastonbury festival: Eilish, McCartney (with Dave Grohl), Kendrick Lamar, Diana Ross, Elbow, Crowded House, Alison Krauss...You'd have loved it.
Thanks for the laugh Glasto v River Plate. Truly funny.
The Donnington one in 1991 vs this one, shows their age a bit as the Donnington one was mental, but they still had it.
Saw them in Madrid, top gig! Such a pure clean sound, loud as fuck but no earplugs required
Argentine People ❤️🇦🇷🇦🇷❤️
200,000 fans at river plate stadium. For AC/DC . They have always been my favorite band.

River Plate Stadium has been remodelled. Now it can have 85 thousand people sitting plus the football pitch. Imagine that. Cant wait to see more concerts like this
yes Argentinians are the best crowd ever, that's how the crowd should react in live rock concert , they are just such a passionate crowd, and you can really tell how they love AC/DC
Check the last Coldplay’s show in the same stadium last week. They played 10 nights with the stadium full of people. Was insane!
Whole lotta rosie from the same gig is awesome
The crowd was pulsing. Pulsing waves. INSANE.
it's imposible to listen to this song without jumping and headbanging 😜
The entire set you can watch and it feels like its been 10 minutes, its awesome
I love this live video…. The whole fucking stadium is shaking 🤟🏾🎸
best crowd ever argentina
That was the best reaction!! Thank you guys so much!!
Saw AC/DC for 2 bucks back in Sydney in the mid 70’s when they were trying to make a name for themselves. And they were good then too.
Los argentinos somos los mas fanaticos y pasionales con la musica a nivel mundial!! me da orgullo ser argentino y ver que bandas como ACDC nos elijan!!!!!
I think you should see how the argentinians soccer fans chants in a stadium during matches. That culture reflects in ACDC concerts at River Plate Monumental Stadium.
Australia week?
Angus, Malcolm and original singer Bon Scott (short for Bonnie Scotland) are all Scottish. They did move to Australia when they where young, but Scottish they are 🏴
Scotland have also given us a living treasure in Jimmy Barnes from Cold Chisel, to many Aussies even better than AC/DC Check out Wild Thing, Bow River, When The War Is Over to just name a few. Cold Chisel broke up in 1983 and Jimmy went on to have a successful solo career and is still singing today. When something is wrong with my baby is definitely worth listening to.
Saw them at Download 2010 in 🇬🇧 and they were amazing.
I was there too 👍
i have goosebumps, so pleased you are enjoying our boys.
