Guys, Peter is one of the UK's comedy stand-up institutions. He specialises in observational comedy based on real people and what they do and say, so it's easy for us all to laugh at ourselves. He never uses 'blue' humour or swears in his acts because that's not what he's about, just good wholesome comedy and he's damned good at it.

I think you can see why the humour in the North of England is so good - the accent he has is beautiful - have you noticed he misses out the word 'the' a lot. @nayf7682 Před 2 lety +4

@@Nutrient-Gold A pot pie is a type of meat pie with a top pie crust[1] consisting of flaky pastry. The term is used in North America.[2][3] Pot pies may be made with a variety of fillings including poultry, beef, seafood, or plant-based meat substitute fillings, and may also differ in the types of crust. In the United States, both beef pot pie and chicken pot pie are the most popular types of pot pies and can vary significantly in terms of both preparation and ingredients.
So although you may choose to use the term 'pot pie' which is fine, you are simply using an Americanism such as 'trash' , 'sidewalk' or 'eggplant' .

You need to check out ‘Car Share’ it’s a tv series where Peter plays a store manager called John and he ‘car shares’ with a colleague called Kayleigh. It’s just brilliant. So many great episodes, specifically, the fish episode where Kayleigh goes into work drunk and the one in the second series where they go to the zoo and leave with a monkey 🤣🤣
    Peter Kay is genius! X

After this tour one of the local UK North West radio stations did a feature for a few months where the public rang in with their misheard lyrics and since you guys like Oasis you might be interested in the suggestion that the very last line in Don't Look Back In Anger sounds like Noel is singing 'Eat Snot Today'

This was fascinating watching your Channel.. Being from the UK I'm always interested to see how Americans perceive our sense of humor. Peter Kay's a class act. You may struggle with some of the regional accents the further North you go but that in itself is funny. Some of the stuff the Two Ronnies did were very very funny. One of my favorites was a comedian called "Mick Miller" he didn't have to say anything he got a laugh without opening his mouth...
