My youngest son that happens to be Air Force told me Toby died the morning he died. I raised my son's on rock music but being from the south country got into them.
Toby and a few others kept me symbolically into country.
Looking back on him, I'm proud this man reached me too.

He will be missed
When I heard he passed away I was in shock and still in shock. I grew up listening to him as a kid. This hurts a lot he had even said “Never apologize for being a patriot if they don’t like it then fuck them”. I will never apologize for being a patriot I love this country so much. My mom and dad were in the military and they taught me that as well. Right now my American flag is at half mast for this week. We lost a true patriot he will me so missed. I actually cried at the end of this song because it’s just heartbreaking with this news.
Wish we could all go back to where we were all Americans. Instead of democrats and republicans.

@@2eREPPARA From an American, I'm going to thank you anyway for your sacrifice in the cause of freedom and good! The Aussies are a great people and Australia is a great nation. My ship stopped in Perth in 1984, and it was a wonderful 5 days I got to spend there. The first day of "liberty" we were required to be in uniform, and I had been told if you go into a bar/pub in uniform, you won't be able to pay for a drink. I doubted it, but sure enough, my friend and I right away met an old Aussie gent in a nice hotel bar who had served in WW2, and he would not let us pay for the beers we had. Most hospitable people I have ever met. It was wonderful to visit a country where it was safe to walk around wearing a uniform, which is not the case in many countries.

l’m nothing special & l definitely don’t deserve thanks,l feel guilty every day that l’m still here when my Legion brothers aren’t,l should’ve died in a pile of brass beside them instead of coming home 🇦🇺🇺🇸
