Gpa served in Army during WW2 & Korean War, Dad was Navy, 2 brothers were Army, husband was 30 years AF as an MP Master Sargent, and a nephew who served Marines 2tours of Afghanistan and received a Purple Heart.
I thank you all for your services and all the families who sacrificed as well and waited faithfully for their return.
I don’t like what is happening in our government right now but I still believe that if we were attacked on our soil, we would fight man, woman and child to save our country. As George Washington said, what sets the Christian American apart from others is we would rather die on our feet than live on our knees!

My hubby is a retired army and ill never forget when he was over seas on deployment for a whole year and our kids were only 1 years old and it was tough having to him away that long ..deployments are so hard ..

This is my first time watching your channel, before the song even starts I just have to say, your are such an amazing human being, all that you do for the people in your community is just amazing and all you do for the disabled vets. All the kindness you put out into the world will be restored back upon you in one way or another. I thank you for all that you do and have done.
I'm glad my daughter was born after I got out of the Army. She didn't have to see daddy fly away on a plane and not know if I was coming back. Sadly my wife did experience it. But I'm here, alive, and now I'm a husband and father who won't ever have to fly away on one of those planes again. Some that I knew didn't come back. And some that did took their own lives after the fight was over. God bless them all.

When Toby says in this song... we're out here on the front line... sleep in peace tonight... this hit my really hard right after 9/ll when I couldn't sleep in peace with my 5 children because I was so scared for them at that point. Not that I didn't have faith in our military.. I was just so scared for my babies at that point in time...
I am a Navy Wife (Retired) I did that regularly. Dropping my Husband off with my kids and he would be gone for months. I dont miss that at all. Love to all the Families that are left behind.

My cousin Patrick made the ultimate sacrifice serving in Afghanistan on his 3rd deployment. He was a second generation US Army Ranger and his older brother my other cousin is also a Army Ranger who’s with the 75th Ranger Regiment. But he was killed in a ambush on the way back to their COP (Combat Outpost) when the vehicle convoy was attacked by hitting an IED and then came under small arms fire and RPG’s. His son was born 2 days before he was killed and 3 weeks before he was supposed to be coming home before turning around and returning to Afghanistan for another deployment. He LOVED serving this country and he was the type of person who truly believed in what we were doing in Afghanistan and believed in the mission 110%. Our great grandfather Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth Long Olson US Army died while being a POW aboard a Japanese Hellship in the Subic Bay Philippines in 1942 when US Navy Hellcats from the USS Hornet attacked the Hellship the Oryoku Maru not knowing it was a POW Ship with over 2600 allied POW’s in the hull of the ship. They named a building after him at Fort Benning Columbus Georgia. I feel so proud and honored and grateful for the amount of military service in my family and having two family members who had to make the ultimate sacrifice is something that I am both proud of and saddened by but grateful that they weren’t afraid to do something so much bigger than themselves. My dad said he wasn’t able to serve in the military because of having bad knees and he wanted to follow in his big brother’s footsteps by going into the Marine Corps and his dad and grandfather both WWII Veterans (his grandfather was the POW) but he wasn’t able to join so he decided to serve in another capacity by first becoming a Firefighter in Columbus Georgia. After a few short years he became a Sheriffs Deputy for the Harris County Georgia Sheriffs Office for a few years before being a city cop in LaGrange Georgia retiring after doing 30 years there obtaining the ranks of Sergeant, FTO Sergeant, and retired as a Lieutenant. 37 years in total of being in Law Enforcement. My dad was working as a Sheriffs Deputy and a night shift supervisor when he was diagnosed with cancer and after a long and difficult fight for 2 1/2 years he died while in hospice on March 3rd 2020. He taught me that whenever I see someone in uniform or a older person who is wearing a ball cap with Veteran on it etc etc to take a few moments to go over and shake their hand and tell them Thank You for our freedom and Thank You for their service to the greatest country on earth! I love your videos man!! Wish more people could be like you! You are a true American Patriot who LOVES our country and not afraid to say it! Much love and respect brotha!! ❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
