There are violent men the world over that seek to do harm to us and our loved ones, and the only people standing in their way are those that put their lives on the line for our liberty and our way of life. I am so proud of every one of our service men and women that are willing to pay the price to protect what they hold dear.
Toby Keith went to those war zones I believe 19 times through the years. The Military loved him, and he didn’t make one penny to do all of this.
My husband served 25 years in the Military, so I know a lot about Being alone. It’s a tough job, but Thank God we got great men and women that have given up their lives for our freedoms in this Country!
Thank you, Sir for your service to Our Country! It’s a great Sacrifice, to serve our Country, so we can sleep in peace at night! I remember when my husband got those calls in the middle of the night, and I watched him leave many times with all his gear in his backpack.

My husband was active duty navy 17 and half yrs. I cant tell you how many holidays, birthdays, or anniversaries he missed, it would be easier to try to count the ones he was home for. He missed the birth of our 2nd child. It was our life. Now he has a 'normal' job and our younger 2 get to see their dad everyday.
John Michael Montgomery "letters from home" Stan might cry. I've seen Tobey Kieth preform twice in Iraq 2005 and 2011 he has gone every year that the U.S. has been there, he's amazing.

My dad served in the US Army for 22 years. He always came home safe and sound. Thank God. Songs like this make me tear up every time.
When 911 happened, patriotic Toby got really pissed, he sat and wrote Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue...you would love it.

If you say yes and show your ID they will comp your meal. That's right, active duty and veterans eat free. That man is a class act.

We don't have to agree with the war, but we need to be ready to back up our troops. If we can't do that, we should go stand in front of them if we can't stand behind them. Nearly every male in my family served in the numerous conflicts over the past 70 years and I am so proud of them. God bless you both.

That last verse always hits home with me. I had a really strained relationship with him during my time in the service.
That is one of my absolute favorite songs, to. Its so sweet and touching, and shows how important writing a letter to the soldiers was and still is.

The man in green I never was in the service either.. but my son was.. seeing him walk to the bus to go to the airport going to Iraq with all he's gear I was so full of anxiety.. As a Army Mom it was stressful lol...A year before He went straight to boot camp immediately after graduation from high school he grapped his stuff out of the truck and the recruiter took him away lol... When he done that first tour at only 18 mamma Bear got gray hairs...but anyways I'm rambling..My point is we all make sacrifices Very Proud Mamma Bear ❤️🇺🇲 My son is a Veteran too!

If you ever get the chance go to a Toby Keith concert. He always invites all military retired and current up on stage. I’ve flown across the country to see him. Been to 17 concerts.
My whole family has been military in some way or another. I’ve had a 90s country music bucket list. I’ve seen George, Garth, tim, faith, Brooks & Dunn. Toby is coming to my city October 15 2021. Ive already got my ticket. My city is known for our Air Force base...air capital of the world. I’m so excited

Why didn't you show the video?? It's a fantastic video! We CAN support our troops and thank them for their service when we see them. I have an AFB in my city and whenever I see them out and about shopping, etc., I always stop and thank them. They really appreciate it.
