@hollykelso9116 30 somethings are millennials. Military recruitment dropped off drastically with Gen Z. The generation that has zero respect for anyone and anything. Thinks the world owes them everything when they've done nothing. Yet proclaims everything wrong in the world is because of the 3 generations who proceed them.
It makes me depressed how bad things have become. I blame our media and government for dividing us. It was intentional. It's easier to control the masses when they are fighting amongst themselves.

Dude, great reaction. As a vet of almost 29 years, I truly appreciate it. When you say, “I do love America and I do hate America at the same time.” That is America! I dont know you from anywhere but your comment is what is so great about this Nation. Ive travelled all over the world, more than 30 countries from East Asia, Europe, Middle East, and both East and West Africa. Ive deployed 6 times and was part of the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Id personally hate to see you leave this great country because you might not know how bad it is elsewhere. In this country, there is the opportunity. The idea of America is about the Dream. People flood into this country because of how it is where they came from. Sure, America has its problems and we are more divided than ever, but we can still come back together based on the idea of what America means and what it stands for. I grew up in WV with no chance other than working in the mines but got out to serve and that opened up opportunities. No matter if youre in the Service or not, we can all contribute to correcting our wrongs together. Where else could a country kid like me marry a Haitian woman and not worry about what others think. Stay the course my man. Keep loving and hating this country because that is the only way we can get better together.

I had a co-worker who was from Canada. When she was getting ready to retire and go back to Canada, she had all the medical procedures she wanted to get done, done here in the U.S. She said that when she got back to Canada it would take at least a year to get a doctor. She said if she waited until she was in Canada it would take at least three years to get a surgery, if the system decided she needed it at all. A guy who was needing back surgery was asked if he could still stand the pain. When he said Yes was told he couldn't have the surgery until the pain was impossible to live with. Government provided medicine is not very good. Ask the veterans who have to deal with the VA.

My Daddy served in Vietnam and was recently diagnosed with dementia :( I'm so sad about it, he doesn't even remember things about himself. Prayers for him and our family would be greatly appreciated ♥I know eventually the day will come where we have to say goodbye, I'm struggling with it too. I already lost my mom in 2019...

My husband served 27 years in the Army with 7 tours to the Middle East and now he's a disabled Veteran. Sadly we are still fighting with the government over an injury that he sustained at his basic training (back in 1987). He's currently in remission from brain cancer (heard all those commercials about the burn pits and cancer? Yeah, he ran those during 2 tours), he suffered a stroke when they did the biopsy on the tumors in his brain, and he's currently suffering from necrosis in multiple bones from the steroids they gave him during chemotherapy. He's had 2 total knee replacements and now needs double hip replacements.

I love Toby Keith. My daughter & I saw him several times, & when he did this song, the fans went wild! A few yrs ago, he let everyone know that he was battling stomach Cancer, & it looked like he was gonna beat it. Sadly, he passed away Monday February 5, 2024.😭

I love America and its people. I hate that our taxes are not used to benefit Americans. We need to help our own people before helping others. Our own people are homeless and go without healthcare and many other needs. We need to put our people first. After our people are taken care of is when we should help others.

I am an an Iraqi combat veteran......At the time around the making of this video, Americans were united because we had just experienced an attack on our home soil. The following day, there were American flags flying on every porch. It was a sight to see. Nowadays, its sad. Never in a million years would I have believed the hate the country has against it and the flag if you would have told me this would happen back when 9/11 occurred. And the military nowadays? Its getting to a point that we won't be able to fight our way pout of a wet paper bag. The ones defending this country if something should go down will be the veterans no longer serving or retired. The atmosphere and content of today's military has become so bad that we will be lucky to survive an attack again.

The USO brought comedians to Iraq. On the helicopter ride to our camp the helicopter got shot at, the comedian did a 20 minute set on how he literally pissed his pants. It was the funniest s**t, I wish I caught his name. 😢😢❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂

The countries with free Heath care wait years sometimes for a surgery. Lines are too long. Others (Sweden) it's "free" after a 40% tax rate. Be careful what we wish for. I understand. I'm old and broke but no breaks. Just be smart while you're young. Love my vets too.. My dad was Navy and Coast Guard./Korean vet

I will tell you we don't really see racism often in the military. We always have jokes for each other. However, "serious" Racism doesn't really exist in the service! (At least for the most part that is. Obviously there are outliers, but we all suffer together.) Love to see positivity and love about the situation thats what we need as a society right now. If we can't learn to love and laugh together there is really no hope! Love you too brother!✊🏼

You need to investigate countries that have healthcare provided by the state. You know the state that does such a great job with our infrastructure. My office had a patient that had to come from Canada and have a tumor removed at his own expense because his "free" surgery for a thyroid tumor was scheduled 8 months from his diagnosis. Many people in the UK and Canada still have to go to a private doctor for care of a time sensitive or emergent care because the system is overloaded. The best doctors aren't willing to work for a government salary when the can come here and have a more successful practice. In the UK it's not uncommon to wait 8 or more hours to be seen in an ER, in fact it's the norm. AND in those countries you "contribute" to the healthcare in your paycheck. You will pay a 10% income tax, your employer will pay a 14% tax (which kills some small businesses). The quality of care is compromised. I want LESS involvement of the government in our lives. Nothing is free, especially from the government. We all pay a price and that's the reason we are in debt nationally trillions of dollars.
Yeah we got our problems but all these countries with free health care have tax rates much higher than ours. I lived in Norway for 4 years with free health care and the tax rate was crazy and the wait to see a doctor was even crazier. Nothing is free and anyone who says it is don't know jack. JMHO

I hate to tell you this, but other countries with free health care are paying on average 40% taxes! Taxes here are crazy, but we're still the land of the free & the home of the brave. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
