I got the chance to see AC/DC in Glasgow in 2000 odd and it was epic, would love to see them again, and the singer Brian Johnson comes from my neck of the woods of County Durham. :)
Angus Young would come home from school dressed in a uniform like that, his older brother Malcolm Young (R.I.P) and his mates were practicing in the garage. Angus wanted to play too, so he took up learning picking lead guitar riffs and eventually he joined the band... because he would always come home straight from school in his uniform it kinda stuck and been wearing it ever since.
The schoolboy look was suggested by his sister Margaret. She made the original costume but he later settled on the uniform of his former highschool. Angus is also a life long tea totaller but smokes like a chimney.
I seen this tour with them in 2009...It was THE BEST CONCERT i'VE EVER BEEN TOO! i COULDNT EVEN TALK WHEN IT WAS OVER FROM SCREAMING AND SINGING! iT WAS EPIC!!! I actually have those devil horns from the concert...

Per his sister: Angus' outfit originates from when he was in school and would run home after school and start practicing before he even changed clothes.

My first concert was AC/DC in Cincinnati in 1991, also was my senior year. By far the loudest concert I have ever been to. Please do For Those About to Rock (Live in Donington 1991).
Niiiice suggestion, hoping to do more AC/DC soon. Thanks for watching
I remember Monsters of Rock 1984, AC/DC, Van Halen, Ozzy, Motley Crue and the late great Gary Moore. What a line up and after seeing AC/DC so many times that my wallet hurts I can confirm they get louder as the sun comes down, the best live rock ever. I don’t think you will get line ups like that again and all for £8.00 back in 1984, about £26 ($34) today.
Cool father/daughter gig you got, man. It is nice to see this younger generation with an appreciation for the greats
Try heart
"why would you do that?". The question that many young adults of the 90s have heard. Lol. Best question ever. Love it!
Really cool channel y'all. I myself am the age of the "old man" here.... So relatable. Subbed with notes on.
RIP Malcolm never be forgotten sadly they poxy axil rose the end of AC/DC
Ya, sad times.
@@GlitchintheMatrixMultiMedia RIP Angus Young.
IMO should have been Dave Grohl..... seen him do a few AC/DC songs in conert... the guy dead set rocks 'em out!
Naaa..brian is going back to acdc..hopefully they'll tour in the us soon in LA..
@@kevinyuni I thought they said he was loosing his hearing that was why he was retiring
I grew up in Ashfield, Australia Angus Young went to Ashfield boys
Best Aussie, l salute YOU
In Burwood they formed
@@peterdisgusting the next suburb
Tks y’all I love this concert. TOO MUCH ENERGY 🤘🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
went to the concert 2015 in Hannover Germany... 80.000 people went crazy. unreal concert!
You screwed up bad selling those tickets!!! I've seen them twice and it was freaking AWESOME!
I KNOW I KNOW!!! So ashamed looking back on it!
My oldest sister offered me tickets to see Huey Lewis and the News for my birthday when i was a teenager, and i declined!! THAT was a huge mistake for me!! It could have been my first pop/rock concert and i said no!! I was a little skinny wimpy kid back then i HATE myself for turning it down!!
Got a ticket for my 21st in 1988, best concert ever
I got the chills every single time I hear this one
Yep, it is just soooo high energy, love it.
My favourite band of all time. I was lucky to see them twice. Once was 4 rows away.
I saw ac dc in 1977 Spokane, Wa. With Areosmith. Awsome awsome show.
Wow bro you have a beautiful young daughter. Teach her right! She is our future!
Thanks for the comment!!
If you want to see a huge crowd with lots of interaction you've got to see Iron Maiden, Fear of the Dark from Rock at Rio.
yeh thats mental
nope,this is better
Just watched it. Dude are you serious? Not even close
@@redtample you need to watch the full ac dc show and tell me something later...here in Argentina we react as in Rio with iron maiden always, but with ac dc it is crazy the whole show
@Dahoss really?? but with three other bands
Seen em in 87 at the nec and then again at Donnington. Absolute awesome.
Love that you’re exposing your daughter to some proper music. 😂
I have seen AC/DC live many times, the best of which was Donington park 91. That was just a magical day.
I can beat your sad missing out story though...
My Cousin had two tickets to see them on the 79 Highway to Hell tour, but my Mother ruled that I was too young to go to a rock concert, & told me I could go next time around. Then Bonn Scott went & died so I never got to see the Legend 😢
You gotta stop stopping the song. It's too hard for anyone to get the mood going when it suddenly stops on a dime many times during the song. Please keep your hands and arms inside the ride at all times and wait until it comes to a full stop before asking any freaking questions. This is the ROCK AND ROLLER COASTER.
The song just builds and builds and builds and builds and builds
Excuse me, no sir. This isn’t the rock and roller coaster, this is the ROCK N ROLL TRAIN!
For teens, this lessons are better than school. Congrats!
I love the dads happy face. He feels the music 😆
I'm from Argentina. I was in that concert. It was AWESOME!!!!
First time watching you two and you are amazing. When I heard you talking about Megadeth, I knew I had to watch more vids from you two.
Message to the Dad: High Five!
Message to his rad daughter: I wish my dad was this cool when I was your age. But seriously, tell him he needs to talk less and just let the music roll ;P
Chances are, you'd probably find megadeth in that audience, Chanting "We've been Thunderstruck" ... !!!
Saw AC/DC twice and Angus has that energy through the entire show. They are super loud and lit live!!!
This tour visited my home towm. I was fortunate enough to go. Best concert in my damn life. What an experience! I was so full of energy after the concert i didnt fall asleep before it was 5 am that night.
best live version is from 'Live at Donington.' In fact - the best AC/DC concert of all time is this one..
Hard to disagree
Donnington one of the best of any genre period
I agree wholly!!! Brian Johnson was on fire the entire concert, the entire band was on fire, but Brian was a crazy ball of energy throughout the entire show.
1978 Apollo Theatre Glasgow Live is imo the best one. It's the concert that the live ablum "If you want blood, you got it" is taken from.
I was at donnington in 91,what a great gig that was, just at the start when Angus bursts on stage and starts the riff to thunderstruck, amazing! Goosebumps!
Only downside it was warm, and being a Donnington virgin i was relieved to see a bit of water getting tossed back the crowd in large plastic bottles, it was like rain, brilliant, except someone told me nope, that ain't no water, it's eh? urine! Lol
Guys at the front had 100k people behind them so couldn't go piss! :-)
8:00 Her reaction is so wonderful.
I got the chance to see AC/DC in Glasgow in 2000 odd and it was epic, would love to see them again, and the singer Brian Johnson comes from my neck of the woods of County Durham. :)
Had the pleasure of seeing them many times live here in Australia
I love AC/DC, my favourite tune is "If You Want Blood", the drums on that are mind-blowing
Angel Brain Live Wire with Bon Scott singing is my early favourite
These guys sound pretty damn good for being 70 years old
I can't believe you sold your ticket. I've seen them 3 times in Oakland CA.. They are beyond badass. My ears rang for 3 days each time
Amazing the best band thats so understated an really not talked about. So good. If you want blood is one of my all time favourites
The opening riff always sends a chill down my spine
Yes, it's just epic
Live Wire with Bon Scott singing is an early classic
I seen this tour with them in 2009...It was THE BEST CONCERT i'VE EVER BEEN TOO! i COULDNT EVEN TALK WHEN IT WAS OVER FROM SCREAMING AND SINGING! iT WAS EPIC!!! I actually have those devil horns from the concert...
I was there in River Plate stadium in the first of the three concerts they played in december 2009. It was great! AC/DC is my band of all time! In fact, my youngest son's name (14 years old now) is ... ANGUS! I salute you from San Luis, Argentina.
Some quality father and daughter time. :-)
Per his sister: Angus' outfit originates from when he was in school and would run home after school and start practicing before he even changed clothes.
Thats the way to give ur child some real gold music in life.
Ac/dc rocks !!!
Great videos. AC DC gigs are the best I have experienced! Live at National Car Rental Center (FL) in 2001 (Stiff Upper Lip) was the best!! RIP Malcolm. Not the same without Brian J.
