The best character development . I can tell you that much. You can see his regret and feelings in this arc. even IN the end vegeta showed his power.
I'm sorry bro, best character development goes to yajirobe
It was about time he realized after being his second time screwing up for his selfishness, bravo.
Just for super to crap on it
@@fatherchris4004 It adds to it.
@@fatherchris4004 Glad somebody said it lol
“You’re gonna die, but you’re not going to Heaven”
That’s the situation Vegeta faced
Yes, & he didn't complain about it either. I think he felt like he was getting what he deserved, which shows that he did see himself as a bad person, someone who didn't deserve to go to heaven. He just said "that's a shame," then told Piccolo to go & get the others to safety. He just found out if he goes through with his plan, he will not go to heaven, & he took the time to express concern for the safety of Piccolo, Trunks, & Goten (Goku's son!) before continuing with his plan KNOWING that he would not be rewarded for his heroism.
If that isn't character development, then I don't know what is. I like how later, when they (spoiler alert) use the dragon balls to wish back all the good people who died during the events of the Buu saga, Vegeta was revived as well, & Goku made sure to point it out to him. Vegeta saw himself as a bad person, but Goku KNEW he had good in him, & Goku was proven right at the end. I think Vegeta was even embarrassed by that & told him to shut up lol
@@marvelsandals4228 He knew he was a bad person already on namek when he was crying to goku while dying to tell him that frieza made him do horrible things..
"And so, one of the Earth's greatest warriors has vanished in a blinding flash of light, having made the ultimate sacrifice....for the sake of his loved ones.
His name was Vegeta. A proud, Saiyan prince."

The goat.
PURE C H I L L S
Even while watching the moment in this video I could barely contain my tears
This was THE moment. Nobody can deny Vegeta in this arc had a great character development. And there's another great moment
anyone with a brain would see he has character development through the entire series lol
This is where Vegeta earns all my respect back and perhaps even more. Vegeta is definitely the Hero here🔥🔥🔥
When Piccolo says "This is the Truth" Vegeta who has the ultimate tacticians Game Face flinches and that small detail has always stood out for me...
Vegeta used his own life force as ki. Theoretically, all the Z Warriors can do that. But Vegeta man, Vegeta really proved his piece. It was such an emotional scene. I love it!
s u i c i d e bomber move
All but yamcha
He dont even have the ki or energy to kill a plant with arms and legs, idc what training he does, if he wouldve tried this against buu, the blast size wouldve just been him glowing yellow then doing a TFS "Pop" from existence😂🤣
@@flaminggaming143 don't speak trash about Yamcha, bro he would definitely beat you
To be fair it's not the first time we've seen it happen. The Saibaman blew himself up to kill Yamcha, Chiaotzu blew himself up to try & kill Nappa, & Cell blew himself up after Gohan hit him so hard that he lost his perfect form. Anyone who can harness their energy to do supernatural feats like fly & fire energy blasts can also self-destruct, if they are serious about it, but it is rare that someone actually uses that technique since it will definitely kill you (unless you're cell & you have OP regeneration powers). The Androids can blow themselves up too (like 18 & 16), but not with energy. Dr. Gero placed bombs in their bodies as a last resort. Bulma removed 16's bomb & Krillin's wish removed the bomb from 18 (& 17 I think). I can't think of any other characters who have tried to self destruct lol
@@flaminggaming143 he would just glow for 2 seconds and thats it 😂😂😂😂
This scene has hit me harder since I had my son and lost his mother (my wife) to cancer when he was only 9 months old.
I am truly sorry to hear that, you earn my biggest respect. I'm sorry you and you're son had to go through this. I hope that you and you're family are doing fine
God damn man, I'm so sorry.
I’m sorry to hear that
You’re his Vegeta now. Keep pushing, bro.
So sorry to hear that man I hope you and your family are doing well
11:52 "I'm gonna miss Bruce when I get to super man" trust me bro we all miss these soundtracks. Luckily there are passionate fans on the internet that upload clips of super with the soundtracks to get that feeling!
You know what he'll also miss? Good writing :(
Goku is cool and all, but cant deny that Vegeta has the better character development
I think from og to end of z goku has more development
@@marino4321 he said better
This is how I see it: Goku is such an icon, such a hero, that meeting him changed Vegeta's life. Vegeta's entire life became obsessed with him, with surpassing him, personally, something he wanted more than any other goal. What made Vegeta so mad was that along the way he had become more like Goku. Even when he claimed that he didn't care about Bulma & Trunks, Goku asked him if he really believed what he was saying, which made him even angrier, because he obviously didn't believe it. He did care about them, which Goku forced him to confront. And in the end, he took responsibility for all the damage he caused by ensuring the safety of the others (even Goku's son!) & killed himself in an attempt to kill Buu. I think Vegeta's arc demonstrates how much of an impact Goku has on the people he meets, which says a lot about Goku as well. He's a simple guy, but he affects the world around him in a positive way that defies logic. Think about it: everyone wanted to kill Vegeta. Krillin picked up a sword & was about to stab him to death & nobody, not even Vegeta could have expected anyone to come to his defense, but Goku, against all logic, spared his life. I think that was the moment that really threw Vegeta for a loop & made him start to question his own identity, gradually.
Everyone can self-destruct, it's just a matter of suddenly releasing all the energy you had in you in a massive Ki Blast.
Plus Vegeta is extremely powerful so he has a lot of Ki in him to explode
To be fair it's not the first time we've seen it happen. @@marvelsandals4228 Even Goku in GT was going to use Self Destruct against Super 17 I'm pretty sure, until Vegeta stopped him.
The Greatest dragon ball z moment🥺❤️
That scene where Piccolo is paying his respect to Vegeta always gets me
7:52 still gets me all the time his reaction was the best 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Vegeta said .. "I am going to crush you, and throw you into the wind." This is my favorite line in all of DBZ.
So you tell me right now who said some poetic shit like that ever again. Nobody.
It's such an odd line, but it just hits different when you understand what his plan is. He's smiling & laughing, not because he's overconfident, but because he is getting ready to die & take Buu with him. Another great Vegeta line is right before that one. Buu says some shit about how he wants to fight & Vegeta smiles & says "I think I finally understand you. Let's go." That always gives me chills for some reason, like at that moment Vegeta has let go of all his concerns & fears. All that matters is this fight, killing Buu, not even his own life matters anymore to him.
Goku has some very good lines but I get what u mean lol
@@marvelsandals4228 He was thinking back to when Goku sacrificed himself against Cell. He realised then how it felt to do something for others, and to do so without fear.
@@HenrythePaleoGuy Yes, you're right. In fact, earlier in the fight, when Vegeta was looking at Buu, he started imagining he was fighting Goku instead & was having flashbacks to his history with Goku. I think that line was directed not to Buu, but to Goku. Vegeta was saying that he finally understands GOKU, why he is a hero, why he fights for good, etc. Vegeta is now stepping into that role, preparing to sacrifice himself to protect other people.
Bruce Faulconer made this scene come to life with the music
And to think there are some idiots out there who would try to say otherwise. This version is better than the sub, the original music dub version AND the Kai version. No argument...for the buu saga at least
@@LinkedHero lol...yes

The writers hated vegeta in dbz. They handed him an unnecessary amount of L’s when he seriously didn’t deserve it
I wouldn't say the writers (& by writers I mean Toriyama lol) hated him. Remember, Vegeta went on a legendary killing spree during the middle of Z. He killed Nappa, Cui, Dodoria, dozens of Freeza's low level soldiers, Zarbon, Guldo, Reecome, Burter, Jeice, Android 19, & Pui-Pui (who got absolutely destroyed, like bro I felt bad for him lol). Not to mention, Vegeta surpassed Goku & Cell after emerging from the time chamber, was the strongest fighter on Earth, & got to humiliate Cell in battle for a while. He had a LOT of wins, when you think about it. Sure, he lost, but I think that's what makes you root for him, he feels more like an underdog when he loses & loses BADLY, then you want to see him train & get back on top, redeem himself haha
Vegeta is the best character. He have developed since saiyan arc. The rest of the buu arc is awesome. There's so much new things. I say that you will like it
such a sad but loving scene
I know this final explosion scene is awesome but really sad and emotional I always cry every time I watch it
This episode and moment is what made Vegeta my favorite in the series.
The intro has me dying 🤣 glad you got to experience this iconic moment for Vegeta
Bro Vegeta's death literally made me cry when I was a kid. I also kinda forgot that the dragon balls existed and they can wish him back ;-;
They can't bc remember he became a bad person and he killed people as well and by the rules from the other world he isn't allowed to keep his body and his soul.
It's actually one of Vegetas oldest moves called Super Explosive Wave but obviously amplified and converted all his energy and life force into the attack.
I loved doing this in the i forgot wich ps2 game it was , where you have a split screen when fighting 1vs 1 i called it s u i c d e bo m b er move 😂😂
@@crisalcantara7671 dbz tenkiachi 1,2,and 3 but it was scouter vegeta's ultimate attack. And during the anime he does pull it out usually during dire situations. But most commonly remembered when after his tail got cut off he attempted to wipe all remaining z-fighers in one shot. But due to fatigue he couldn't put enough energy into the attack.
This move is specifically called “Final Explosion”. Super Explosive Wave is a similar move, but it’s different
I call if that final Atonement
@@pumpdaddyg Final Atonement
One of the best moment in the franchise. FINAL EXPLOSION!!!
He knew he would go to hell, but still didn't hesitate to sacrifice his life, now that's a PRINCE VEGETA move
Edit: piccolo isn't the guy to finish babidi, someone else will do it!
Bruh why spoil
Why did you decide to spoil?
you people ruin everything, how hard is it to not spoil shit
In my opinion by choosing Hell he has proven himself worthy of Heaven
@@PyrusFlameborn Agreed. Notice that after Piccolo told him about the afterlife, Vegeta didn't complain at all.

You really need to understand why Vegeta is loved his. Development and epic lines.
And so, one of the Earth's greatest warriors have vanished in a blinding flash of light. having made the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of his loved ones. His name was Vegeta, the proud Saiyan Prince.
Favorite line is when Vegeta says, "I think I finally understand you." I like to think he is talking to Goku and his sacrifice.
YO! That's deep. I have watched this show before, but I never made that connection, but it makes a lot of sense. Earlier when he was looking at Buu he started imagining that Goku was standing in front of him & thinking back on who Goku was, his personality, etc. It's like he was discovering what it was to try being the hero, like Goku, & at the end, he finally understands him after all these years.
That line always gave me chills for some reason, but I didn't know why. I thought maybe at that moment Vegeta had let go of all his concerns & fears, even his own pride. Like he felt freed from the things that chained him down. His own life didn't matter anymore. He wasn't afraid of death. All that matters to him is this fight, his last fight, that would be over in a few moments. In that way he understood Buu, he had the same simple, straightforward mindset: let's fight. Nothing else matters.
Wasn't in the clip was it
Aimin: "Why is Vegeta losing in every situation?"
Simple answer: Akira Toriyama. Seriously, Vegeta's valiant efforts never count.
The moment that Vegeta sacrifice himself almost make me cry man that a legendary way to die
BEST MOMENT OF THE WHOLE SHOW!!!
Bro I so waited for you to watch this episode because when I was little I cried at vegeta's sacrifice. I wasn't a vegeta fan then but I am now. Glad you reacted to this. Anyway 25k sub train 🚂
One of my favourite moments in this saga
It gave me goosebumps the fact that Krillin was sad about Vegeta dying
This scene means a lot to me. I used to watch DBZ with my dad. But he passed in 2007 from cancer. Like vegeta here, he gave it his all but came up short. He was also a proud man like Vegeta, albeit much nicer 😂
You forgot the beggining of Buu's fight Vegita promised to Goku that he doesn't know if he would be alive but the planet would be safe and he will stick his life for it. That moment was fire coming from Vegita.
man this moment was legendary
5:30 ngl this is my 2nd favorite theme in dragon ball z, it's called "vegeta's sacrifice" and it's the most synthesized serene sound you will ever prob hear in your life. This theme coupled with what vegeta is about to do as a kid literally shit on my emotions lmao
5:13 my man just spat on babidi to add to the disrespect XD
@Aimin this is without a doubt this was the most if not one of the most emotional 😢 deaths in DBZ. Especially considering that he died fighting for something greater than his own pride, not to mention that vegeta had already been wished back to life before with the dragon balls which means that he can't be wished back to life again.
This is what I've been waiting for.
The place where everyone started respecting Vegeta except for the show.
7:30 "see this is why I need a loving dad, bro" what? 😳
I said you need not I need 😂 it’s hard to hear but listen close I didn’t say “I”
FINAL EXPLOSION 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
it's kinda funny that despite being introduced in the first arc of z it wasn't until this moment that Vegeta actually became a good guy hundreds of episodes later
LETS GO WTF YOU ALREADY POSTED? I DIDNT EXPECT THIS EYYYYYYYY
Vegeta is told he is going straight to eternal damnation and all he says is "so be it" could you be more of a badass
Let's goo can't wait for the rest
That attack is called Final Explosion
This was a great moment, and the next episode just pissed me off, lmaoooo
this is the reaction i wanted
"Aww look at Vegeta and his son bonding-" the immediate expression change made me die of laughter XD
Another good episode
Watching him watch this for the 1st time though classic !!
the first time i watched this i cried
This was the moment that solidified Vegeta as my favourite character. Incredible.
Man this is what made me like Vegeta even more
I remember when I first watched this I cried as a kid lol
I still tear up watching Vegeta's sacrifice, I'm 26
Someone actually made a collage of every time vegeta loses and it’s such a huge amount of images lmaooo
To be fair Vegeta has had a lot of wins too. Remember, Vegeta killed Nappa, Cui, Dodoria, dozens of Freeza's low level soldiers, Zarbon, Guldo, Reecome, Burter, Jeice, Android 19, & Pui-Pui (who got absolutely destroyed, like bro I felt bad for him lol). LETS GO AIMIN. LOVE U :)
9:13 buu actually is a fighting genius stated by goku.
Such a beautiful moment in THE PRINCE OF ALL SAIYAN VEGETA'S DEVELOPMENT. Glad someone else agrees with me.
12:55 Yeah blowing oneself up is taking every ounce of power one has, so it's way more powerful than every other technique (except maybe Spirit Bomb). That's why Kikouhou (Tri Beam) is powerful enough to make Cell struggle
Dragonball is such a good anime, has to be my favorite by far
And to think his character development isnt over yet. Even through Super his character grows and he shows regret for his past actions.
I can’t wait to see your reaction for the next episode are episodes
you can tell that you are younger bro lol, when i first watched this i isntantly knew what he was going to do, it took you a min to put it together lmao but hey i enjoyed the reaction !
Vegeta not only has the best development but also the best sacrifice, and also the best dad goku aint bad but vegeta is the ultimate family man. He is my 2nd fav but still hes amazing.
His name was Vegeta, a proud, Saiyan prince
that always gets me😔
Please Aimin, React to every episode that comes from now on. Theres a lot of cool side story with boo and his a bit weird relationship to someone you'd have never expected. So react to everything, thanks
One of the best episodes
1:20 I thought i was about to hear a “IIIIIIIM READYYY” from SpongeBob
Goku may be the main protagonist, but Vegeta has always been my favorite of the two.
Vegeta took so many Ws on Namek that his W/L ratio still favors W's.
Did u forget cell blew himself up😂 even the little guy vs nappa self destructed
Can't wait for the rest of this arc... u gotta go episode by episode bro, don't skip!!!
This made Vegeta my favorite saiyan.
I've always wondered why Vegeta looks scared or concerned while in his stone/ash state.
Vegeta does again this move in dbs against toppo god of destruction
My favourite Scene in DBZ

Aww look at Vegeta and his son bon- 0_0
A lot of people die in this arc. Oh boy.
Yessirrrreeeee!🔥🔥
Every time i see this episode i am crynig
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 GOODBEY VEGETA!!!
Goten:why did you do that dont you know how to be a good dad?
Vegeta:do you have a living dad
This moment would be better if he actually destroyed buu but aleast he beat toppo with it
Even though they probably didn't even have thought of Beerus back then in Dragon Ball Super we learn that if the supreme Kai dies Beerus dies too
I really wish we had one arc where vegeta is the one who saves the day.
Majin Buu wasn't pointing at Vegeta while he was talking because he was initially talking to Piccolo until Vegeta said, "Yes, your fight is with me. The others are of no concern to you." That's when Buu's attention was focused on Vegeta.
The moment Vegeta said he was doing it for Trunks, Bulma, and even kakarot he became my favorite character in DBZ. I hate how Vegeta doesn’t get an arc where he’s the hero, he’s always behind Goku.
You should react to goku vs majin buu ,YOU''L BE SHOKED
Vegeta make a great ending
Aimen, you should react on the Bardock and Trunks Ovas. They are each only 45 minutes. You get a glimps of the saiyan race through Goku's BADASS father and future Trunks origin of his destroyed future and how he first became a Super Saiyan.
And with that a once greedy and selfish saiyan prince sacrificed himself for the love of his kid and his wife following the legacy of goku and a special spot in our hearts…❤️
11:09 that's one of my favorite parts of vegeta's sacrifice theme😂. Fr though he has one of the best theme songs. Number 1 would be goku's ssj theme. Number 2 would be vegeta's sacrifice theme or goku's ssj3 theme.
The best part of this beating and the beating he receives by Kid Buu is that it completely dismantles Kakarot fanboys argument that goku would've won if he had used SSJ3 during their fight. To this day Kakarot has never beaten Vegeta in a fight.
Well, I'm not Kakarot fan boy, but I wonder about that. Remember, when (spoiler alert) Vegeta was revived he is furious with Goku & says I know all about your Super Saiyan 3, you deliberately held back during our fight, & he seemed very embarrassed. Doesn't that imply that Goku would most likely have won if he transformed? Vegeta seems to think so, which is why he was so mad at Goku. He feels like Goku was not taking him seriously.
It would be interesting if you put like 3 minutes at the end where you try to predict whats gonna happen next :)
“Whys Vegeta losing in every situation?” Man at this point , Akira Toriyama just hates on a character he made because hes more popular than Goku. I love DBZ man, but them constantly giving Vegeta and every other character L’s all the time so Goku can just magically gain some new power to save the day is annoying as hell. Its just predictable at this point
i dont think back then in japan vegeta was the most popular character. it was most probably goku or gohan.

They couldn't use the dragonball anymore because dente was killed. The namek dragonball were not suppossed to be used but the namekians owed them so they allowed it. Not to mention, the namek dragonball were not in anyone's mind because it's been like 7-8 years since us fans even heard of them
