That speech Goku gives to Vegeta before fusing. It’s that seriousness that is missing from Super’s Goku.
It’s also like the only time someone actually calls Vegeta out for being a selfish POS instead of just ignoring him
To be fair, the stakes were sky high at this point as compared to most scenarios in DBS (barring the Goku Black stuff & ToP).
There's simply no reason why DBS Goku wouldn't adopt the same mindset in DBS.
Hell, he got legit PISSED at Zamasu despite knowing that the latter had killed Chi-Chi & Goten in a different timeline to his own.
Also, the script in the OG Funi Dub also skews things in DBZ Goku's favour since they made him Japanese Superman for some reason (typical dub bullshit imo Eg: the SSJ Speech on Namek) as compared to the original japanese script.

Goku literally shows up and the first thing he does meeting super boo is cut him in half using kururin move after he ate him...and goku smiles after saving everyone cause the blast he was about to throw was strong enough to knock everyone out.....subtly my favorite moment of the series....it's like goku saying that was for my friend

Although Gogeta is my favorite character, Vegito is still a sick fusion. His moves and fighting style are pretty unique and I enjoy whenever he's on the screen. Same with Gogeta.

@@justhere6507 I just like what Gogeta does more than Vegito. There's something poetic about a silent ass beating. I love all forms of Gogeta. Ssj4 is one of my favorites, but I disliked his personality. It didn't give that Gogeta feel. Ssj was badass. It may have been a short fight, but I loved what he did in it and the atmosphere that was presented. As for the Broly movie, well... there is plenty of justification in there. But Vegito is a cool character too. I just like Gogeta better.

Some people reacting for the first time actually think before they fuse into vegito or even right before they show their dominance that buuhan would be stronger since he does get in some hits early on that vegito allows to break in the the body which new watchers don't realize because gohan piccolo the boys and super boo individually are stronger than goku and vegeta forgetting ssj 3 exists I guess but also forgetting how two opposites completing each other can lead to more power since unlike with absorption which is against one's will these 2 chose to be one forever and potara earnings are a stronger form of fusion than regular fusion since its permanent...a good match would be ssj 2 vegito vs ssj 3 buutenks with piccolo brain powers absorbed and after absorbing ultimate gohan so you get the 2 strongest characters in the series at equal level fighting it out
I love how Buu waited while Goku and Vegeta where having relationship counseling with each other.
He remembers he was born because these 2 had issues and he's not used to his foes fighting each other and bickering and I love how he doesn't get why vegeta is upset at goku aka cause of ssj 3

Vegeta, just in general, is the reason I think that in dbz its actually really hard to sense your own power level which is why many characters seem to overestimate themselves
DBZ was so badass bro, you can feel the power and badassery of each character, their killing intent and confidence
This was a peak moment in dbz history. I still remember seeing this as a kid. I was so damn hyped up. Goku used talk no jutsu and it was phenomenal! Buu had 4 version and has been kicking the Z fighters for far to long! All Right!! Let's Go!! Vegitoooo!!
It's so funny how people think goku can't do anything to buutenks...he has ssj 3 did people forget he didn't go all out using it before...my guy could fight for a while even if he would lose....goku isn't scarred to fight he just feels its better to fuse instead of waste time fighting buutenks and possibly getting absorbed....goku is smarter than the others

First off, he didn't simply 'Instant Transmission' it to his son, then he didn't explain things to him TELEPATHICALLY (something these guys are known to do when they're in tough spots) and THEN my boi decides not to fuse when they actually get a lucky break lmao
Gohan was simply unaware of what the earrings actually meant, pretty much like the rest of the guys on the field at that time.
If he was given the info in a better, more efficient manner, I can guarantee that he would've snapped it on in a heartbeat.
Actually, the Kaioshins remain fused forever but for mere mortals the fusion lasts an hour at most, then they return to normal.

Out of all the fusions I like Vegito the most. His design is a solid mix of Goku and Vegeta’s clothing, hair, and even the angle of the eyes. The fighting style was a solid mix between them too as well as the personality. The other fusions all use the same clothing design which isn't as original when everyone wears it.

The reason the other fusions have the same clothing is because the vest is part of the metamorese fusion technique, and so any pair who fuse using the fusion dance has that vest as part of the combined body.
@@devonm042690 I know that’s it’s just that the design just got old after seeing it a few times. Vegito was used sparingly so his look has always been iconic to me. To me the open jacket design really works for Gotenks because the puffed shoulder sleeves help balance the overall asymmetrical design due to the offsetting busy design of super sayain three with his height.

I like how both fusion are embodiments of Vegeta's and Goku's best qualities. Vegeto has the cockiness of Vegeta, and the some what carelessness of Goku. Gogeta is exact opposite, he embodies the full seriousness of both saiyans when it comes to fighting and doesn't play games with his opponents.
Which makes VEGITO way more entertaining to watch

@@kennethadriano4329 Gogeta and Vegito are basically the same in terms of personality. Vegito taunted zamasu, the taunting of Buu was part of a plan,and Gogeta dicked around and didn't even go blue until Broly overpowered him in SSJ.

The thing about Vegito here are a that at this point in DBZ, and I don’t think this video included the line, when you fuzed with the potara earrings, you stay in that fusion forever unlike the fusion dance, so this was a very big moment in DBZ since we were losing both Goku and Vegeta as separate characters.

Buutenks wants to test out his power he didn't use 1 energy attack on goku....he could of when he had goku off guard but chose to shoot at gohan and the direction of the earing instead cause he thought ahead...he could of shot goku in the rubble later as well but chose instead to try to punch him before he lost ssj 3 gotenks....but to be fair to goku he wasn't focused on attacking much either....he mostly defended cause his plan was fusion cause he knew he wouldn't win and it's a waste of time energy and potentially the future to fight super boo even at ssj 3 and he didn't want to fuse as a ssj since the kai warned him that he couldn't power down then which is dangerous....they could of had a good fight
@@razkable Yeah both held their own against each other without much damage while being distracted by other things and Goku actually did better than Mystic Gohan atleast when he transformed into ss3

The fusion doesnt work like ssj3+ssj3=ssj6. They just get more power and by that they can unlock another level. And at the potencial of goten and trunks they had it easy to get ssj3

Fusion does add their powers, it significantly magnifies it into the fused being, like instead of a PL of 30mil + 30mil, it would be 30mil * 30mil. Their power I’m sure is much hurt than that so when they fuse it’s enormous

In the manga, Goku didn't turn ssj3 against Buu here. And Vegeta didn't try to fight Buu, but Goku convinced him to fuse before Buu reached them.
So the anime was dragging things out. Whether that's good or bad is up to each person.
Sometimes it's good because it gives cool scenarios, like how Goku was fighting completely defensively against Buutenks to minimize the damage he'd take and drag the fight to make time for Gohan. It also improves some fights like Vegetto vs Buuhan and Goku vs Kid Buu which took the manga's creativity with those fights to the next level. Other times you get embarrassing things like Base Vegeta fighting Kid Buu and being shocked for some reason that he was getting bodied. The manga flows better as a whole, but the anime's highs are good enough to close the difference and possibly be better overall, depending on the viewer's priority. On most days, I prefer the anime's approach because of all the added character moments and the phenomenal conclusion to the arc and the series.
