you should react to Vegetas rage " THATS MY BULMA!"
I swear I read Overflood ._.
You should watch naruto that will make you cry a few times
Hey sir just a quick question, are you going to get and play Dragon Ball Z Kakarot ?
"....having made the ultimate sacrifice, for the sake of his loved ones. His name was Vegeta, a Proud. Saiyan. Prince." That narrator put the cherry on top.
When I first saw this way back when. I was soooo upset they had made vegeta so likeable in this one action.

I agree man. He made it so much more passionate yet heart breaking at the same time for us all
This is the moment i feel in love with Vegeta's character. Its the best part of his characters arc.

When Vegeta says "I think I finally understand you", he's probably not talking about Buu, he's talking about Goku, and understands how he could sacrafice his own life for the people he loves
TFS Vegeta. It could also mean when Buu said "you stay I want fight" Vegeta says he finally understands him because he wants to fight too. But your explanation is logical too. We really don't know who it's aimed at sadly.
Soulless Ginger That's what the writers wanted the viewers to think at first, but it really is aimed towards Goku as it also makes more sense.
You are right. Now I understand it. I have never thought like this. But it's true. Now it al make sense. Buu hasnt nothing to do with what Vegeta said there. He does know buu more than 1 our. Vegeta doesnt even know buu yet. This was meant for Goku
TFS Vegeta that's deep
But Goku doesn't. He fights because he wants to fight.
"His name was Vegeta a proud Saiyan prince" No one will ever understand the pain of having to wait a week to see what happened next. I was depressed as fuck lol

Benji Price Damn, that must've sucked lol
yeah you're right. YOU were the only person ever to grow up with dragon Ball z
almighty popo lol i was obviously exaggerating for dramatic effect.
This is why I laugh every time someone from my generation or an older generation tells me that dbz was stupid and I should feel embarrassed for liking it. I laugh it off and simply tell them, you have no idea what you missed.
Critastic my guess is you don't like super then
What kind of bullshit are you trying to make up, insulting someone for liking DBZ isn't exactly something that ever happens, much less do people generally think DBZ was bad.
Milton Gam everyone hates on anime in general if they’ve never watched it they really don’t understand why people like it so much
Jonathan Gutierrez do true
@@miltongam5870 I've actually come across people who actually prefer Super over DBZ. Their excuse was that DBZ focused way to much on power levels. If one was stronger then the other, they were just guaranteed a win from the start, and the end was predictable. That's what I've been told at least. I don't think I've seen people bag on the story itself (not including how everyone complains about how certains fights should have ended.) But there were other reasons people really didn't enjoy DBZ as much as super
Piccolo : “When you die, you will not receive the same reward”
Vegeta : “... Oh well, so be it..”
Willing accept his fate, with no fear is what make a man. Vegeta is the one character I looked up to as kid.
He was an asshole, a bad ass and found redemption in the end.
This was the moment where you see Vegeta have a heart
Paul Cornejo yea I looked up to him too maybe a little too much lol
There is a way greater dub than this...

Holy shit, you actually watched the longer version just because we asked you to do it? I can´t think of many reactors that would do the same. Thanks Curtis, you're awesome!
It's me who should thank you guys. This longer version changed this segment from "pretty cool" to "stay in my memory forever epic"! :-)
I linked him to the version of Vegito is born that has Goku's speech in it in a comment too and next day that vid was reacted to. He definitely listens. You're awesome Curtis!
watch the lezbeepic version of this it makes it so much more sad and awesome
he is a great reactor! he loves dbz and he will get paid for that soon with more and more subs ;)
+Spaz Boys Comedy I have to disagree with +GUILLE832 on this. I would have rather you watched this off camera and then talked about it in a vlog or before your reaction to something else. It feels like I got Zack Snydered into watching the same thing twice, only with more. I'm not going to badger you to watch what I want you to watch like I usually do, but I really would prefer you don't watch the same thing twice. I get you have to pander to your viewers, but this felt like it was really pushing the envelope.
Vegeta: *punches Goten* "By the way i only hit you harder because i have pent up aggression against your father. ....Take that."
Is here really the place for four star references?
Yes
That's the same thing I was thinking to.
I think it was perfect because it's always funny how he gently KO'd trunks but full on slugged Goten. Besides A. This was a year ago. and B. Dude watches and finds TFS hilarious. Get over it ya babies.
It’s only cause Goten’s guard was up. A hit to the neck may not have knocked him out like it did Trunks.
In the abridged version I hope Vegeta says “Yes, Even you...Best buddy.”
TTnTT
Yes please
No he should say to buu “you’re not dealing with the average saiyan warrior anymore”
@@corvid6923 both would be great :D

Vegeta's backstory makes it much deeper as well. He was taken as a kid by an evil emperor(frieza) and forced to do evil, while his father was killed and his entire race and homeworld were destroyed by that same captor. Even then, with all that trauma, he manages to finally understand compassion. Dbz is given a lot of flak for being shallow, but Vegeta is one of the best and well fleshed out characters, with one of the best redemption arks of all of them.
Fuck off jakeass! We all know hes evil. Thats the whole fucking point of the scene
@@SplitGoose you quite evidently don't have much of a clue about the series.
There are 3 main stories in DBZ. Goku's , Vegeta's, and Gohan's , with Goku's being pretty shallow Gohan and Vegeta both have great stories and development ...that is until super decided to toss Gohan to the side
@@anirbankundu6581 Do you disagree with Andrew? No, you idiot. Read my goddamn comment again!

8:14 That's the bit that really gets me. Vegeta's eye twitching just for a moment as he realizes that this sacrifice won't be enough to redeem him. Piccolo forces Vegeta to reevaluate his entire life and realize how terrible of a person he was. There's no friendly face waiting for him on the other side, only absolute nothingness.
And despite that, he stands his ground, snarks at Buu, and sacrifices himself in a blaze of glory because protecting his family is worth that much. Absolute legend, love this man
The only thing I don't like about this is that they cut out how hell works just for another comparison of Goku and Vegeta.
What Piccolo was supposed to do, which Kai fixes, is tell Vegeta just HOW final this sacrifice will be. Because if King Yemma hadn't needed him, Vegeta would have been cleansed, had his memory erased, and been turned into a new life form.
He already knew, even before Piccolo even said anything. He was now aware of his past and it was going to face for what he did.
Called it %100.. "Prince" of the Saiyans? This guy is a 👑 HANDS DOWN!!!
I could not say it better

Me as a kid watching this scene: literally clueless like trunks and goten.
Me as an adult: Broken and sad.
When Vegeta says “you have made me proud my son” with a smile. It was the most touching moment of the whole series. You know Vegeta lived only for his pride and his pride alone. It gave him his meaning in his life. He has been trying to restore it since he met Goku. And now he has a son that makes him proud, it’s like Trunks gave him the pride and meaning he’s been looking for and he’s happy about it. The greatest compliment the Prince of all Saiyans can give before he died.
This is why Vegeta is the best DBZ character

such an emotional scene is even more impactful when you realize Vegeta was still under Babidi's "control." He's not supposed to have these feelings, but they were so powerful that his sheer willpower, pride, and affection for his family overcame it.

The biggest mistake the writers made, was not having this scene be the end of the buu Saga, and instead being thrown away the next episode.

Izell 94 Cell?....
He's not an anti hero anymore
Arguably the best scene in all of the Dragon Ball series.
Definitely
It’s probably my favorite scene.
Right behind gohan turning super saiyan
Goku turning SS was for me but yeah this was close second
The first time I saw this I literally froze up mouth open with little tears streaming down my face. I was so young at that point being not much older than them, Id say I was 11 or 12 so obviously I saw it from the viewpoint of trunks losing his dad. That's what killed me. But now as an adult, with a child of my own this scene has completely switched sides instead seeing it from vegetas standpoint making an even deeper connection because id go to the ends of the universe doing anything even if it would cost me my own life to protect him. And now being able to see this from both sides has easily become the scene I have the greatest emotional attachment to. And by a quite profound margin at that.

The theme song of Vegeta's sacrifice has church bells in it, a subtle but extremely important part of it. It subconsciously makes you think he's holy or noble.
its called "Hell's bells"
The Super Q that is Vegeta' s theme actually the name is Hell's Bells.
Yup
thats just vegeta’s “Hell’s bells” theme. It’s played several times in the series
The Super Q baptism in fire? I think I'll keep that line for awhile.

@Daywalker Boss rofl no it isn't 😁
@Daywalker Boss keep telling yourself that, 99% of Americans would disagree, it's why the like to dislike ratio on all dbz Bruce dub is so high 👌
@@T4CFantasy I think 99 percent of Americans would disagree not because Faulconer music is better or sth but because it's nostalgic for them and they grew up with it. We have a tendency to remember things as better than they actually are. I had a misfortune of growing up with none of those (because Polish dub fucked up pretty much the entire anime and I've been literally rediscovering it after almost 20 years) and I think the OST is much better. Not the best, just better for the scene. For me, the American rendition is just too machinesque and industrial sounding. It sounds like music from a sci-fi series which I don't think fits at all. But again, I suppose it's just simply a matter of preference.
@oO{ Dawabo }Oo The thing about music and other art forms is that they're subjective so when you say it's shit compared the OST you are right but I am also right when I say I thought Fulconer's soundtrack was better either because it appealed to my taste in music back then or I found the music more fitting to the moment or the character ie: anytime they play Vegetas main theme always gives me chills and no one else's opinion will take that from me just like nothing I've said will take what OST means to, not being judgmental here just a little food for thought before you go shitting on other people's opinions. The debate between what soundtrack is better needs to stop because at the end of the day we all love Dragon Ball.
This scene will never not make my eyes water, the best scene in dragonball z, and one of the best scenes in anime history
I've grown up watching this show ever since I was a very young kid all the way to current day dragonball super. Vegeta was always my favorite character, because underneath all his pride he was extremely human, wrought with anxiety and insecurities, always feeling like he had something to prove, yet caring for the ones he loved and protecting them always no matter the cost.
This. Fucking. Episode.
I saw it when I was nine years old.
This scene was one of the defining moments of my childhood. Seeing this warrior sacrifice himself, going against everything about his character, after all he's been through-
Staring at death with a fucking smile on his face.
This hit me in ways I didn't even know were possible... and it still does to this day.....who put these tears on my face?
The Super Q i sqw it when I was about 12 man. This shit feels so real even today. I’m only 17 now, but this shit is real. Unlike the bullshit people pump out today, this show had fucking heart. Goddamn it I miss this feeling.
sorry, but vegeta was a real beast and trath to the all!!!!!!!look at "all characters killed by vegeta"this sacrifice thing was the first time he fought for others,in super he is a real ego to,no team player, buts ok....(no,i dont give you my energy kakarot)
also since you liked this you're gonna love vegeta's speech to goku
Anonymous YES
Anonymous Look im going to be honest, im not much of a Vegeta fan but, that moment made me fucking cheer for Vegeta. His speech was good and only a man can admit it.
+Give me your left nipple Fully agreed.
HiddenLeafNinja iiiii
Which speech was that?
Vegeta has always been my favorite DBZ character. His story arc is the best in the whole series. It starts with the Frieza arc when you realize that Frieza made him into what he was and he had never had the chance to be different. After Friezas death he had to find his identify as a warrior and get past his own pride. I'm not a huge fan of the Buu arc as a whole, but Vegeta's story is what makes it worth watching.
Dbz had the most emotional moments even if they ended up coming back
Daywalker Boss We get it, you hate the dub and the soundtrack. No need to barrage comments in every thread, because half the time no one fucking cares about your input, especially if it’s negative. So do everyone a favor and shut the fuck up.
The dub is not bad, it’s a really good anime dub.
This was Vegetas defining moment
One of the best scenes in DBZ, period.
And the episode piccolo sacrificed himself to protect gohan against the blast of nappa
I like how Vegeta asks if he will meet Goku in the other world. He wants to be around his friend as much as he hates him at times. Love this scene.

Best scene in Dragonball hands down.
Right next to the father-son kamehameha
Yeah Gokus sacrifice was sad. But Vegetas had more meaning in my opinion. If you asked me if Vegeta would care of any family of his when he first landed on Earth, I would've said no. This shows character depth. We expected Goku to step up and sacrifice himself if he needed to. But no one expected Vegeta to Sacrifice himself for anyone even family. But he loves his son, and admitting that he was also doing it for "kakarot" even though he hated him and wanted to surpass him. I love this scene. Even though Akira wasted it!!!
Same here love it
Also right before his fight with Buu he sold himself to Babidi to be able to compete with Goku. He felt he was growing too soft and wanted his evil side to come out. During his fight with Goku he said he didn't care about his family and Goku called him a liar. The fight they had ended up causing the resurrection of Buu. He then goes on to fight Buu and sacrifice himself for the ones he loves. It's beautiful and the Buu saga should've ended here.
@@turdnuggz69 would have made more sense. It felt like buu saga was supposed to end multiple different times
@obsidianorchids Buu was the worst villian. It felt Toriyama wrote it like is this enough, then his company looked at revenue saw it was still good. Then they struck him with a leather wip back to work slave. I always thought the whole kai situation was stupid after King kai. Buu saga is also the saga where death became absolutely meaningless

its not just he died willingly, he knew where he was going after death and was still ok with it
i don't comment often but just wanted to say a few things. love the channel and the humor you bring to youtube. as a guy that's in his mid 30s (probably older than the majority of the people that comment) it's cool to see an older person take an interest in anime and react to moments like this. i started watching DBZ in the mid 90s, back when you had to get bootleg tapes from a hole-in-the-wall store in New York City (i live in NY), and obviously youtube wasn't a thing. i had a buddy that introduced me to anime and DBZ was one of the first series that i watched.
i never really liked the cheesy hero types like Goku but the fight scenes were cool as hell, and Piccolo was immediately my favorite but as time went on, and i saw more of the series, i grew to like Vegeta more and more because of the growth of the character. he quickly shot to the top of my favorites list. as much as i like Piccolo, Goku and the others, the growth of Vegeta and his depth as a character is what intrigued me. the guy had it rough as a kid (basically being Frieza's slave, and being treated like shit), learning the fate of his dad and the Saiyan race, etc etc, it made me understand why he was a prick at times. it made me feel more in tune with the character because it's something that can (and does) happen to people in real life. he shows that people can change...i dunno...his character just really resonates with me. i still remember when my buddy got the entire Majin Buu saga. we watched it all in one sitting. great stuff. i wanted to say more but my laptop is acting up. anyways, keep up the great content. peace.
The Knutcracker i don't even remember anymore. i thought Frieza mentioned it during the fight with Goku but it's been so long that i'm probably wrong.
The Knutcracker dodoria said it to him
In the manga?
John Seven37 awesome comment
I'm 32 and also used to buy the VHS tapes in Chinatown, lol. $5.00 and you get like 4-5 episodes, lol
You should do a reaction the first time Vegeta dies, when he explains to Goku why he is like he is, that was the moment vegeta. Became my favorite
Vid's 6 years old, but I gotta say - I loved this scene as a kid. It was the single BEST thing to me in the series. But now, having become a father myself - it hits different.
Loved this. You should watch "Vegeta's speech to Goku" exactly the name. it also shows why Vegeta got the 'M' on his forehead there. And shows his rivalry with Goku from his point of view and pride. It's really deep
It is really deep and moving to watch, he needs to see it
I can't believe you went back and watched the longer version. I seriously love this Channel more every day.
The part that really got me was when he turned into stone right after this and dropped on the ground and broke in pieces as the wind took him away, that had me tearing several times. The Mighty Saiyan Prince, Vegeta!

If ya wanna see something that is probably even sadder than this react to future Gohan's death,it's soooo sad
He saw that in the HOT movie abridged. And it was pretty fucking sad there. Sadder than the original, I would say.
Well it'd be cool for him to react to the original ya know?
Sresym I think it's unnecesary. But yeah, I wouldn't complain.
Sresym yessss good suggestion omg
Tina Jita Actually now that i watched him react to history of trunks abridged and saw him "reacting" to that scene,it was REALLY poorly reacted to,he was not serious in the slightest and thus there were no feels. So imo he should react to the original scene
This is why I find it stupid that Tien and Yamcha still refuse to fully accept and forgive Vegeta. Outwardly, they tolerate him but they drop hints and side comments that let you know they still don't like him, which is stupid considering what he's done for everyone.
Would you like someone who killed you or assisted in killing you??
Yamcha actually helped Vegeta in the Cell saga to come to his senses after Trunks' death and was generally less agressive to him
Oh, forgot about that. You would think it was Krillin. he is always the forgiving type and the mediator. Yamcha did it? Awesome.
That right there would be the sole quality moment for Yamcha in DBZ.
b dog Couldn’t have said it better myself, but that’s life Yamcha. Sucks to suck.
Well Yamcha don't like him because he stole Bulma from him but I don't know what Tiens deal is. Maybe because he hasn't been around him as long as the others.
this clip hits me in the feels every f**king time i watch DBZ.
When I hear pride, Vegeta always comes to my mind. Truly a 👑 of the Saiyans!
"I think I finally understand you." Vegeta is talking about Goku. Especially when he's reflecting back on when Goku sacrificed himself against Perfect Cell. Took me a long time to realize that about this scene. I don't know if you guys remember the scene of Vegeta after Cell was defeated and him thinking to himself.
I was today years old when i finally learned this. I always thought he meant understanding how to kill buu.
every single time I get goosbumps when I watch that
This is early 90's stuff. But its still good to watch. I somehow stumbled on your video. It really bring back memories. Thanks.
Hey man, thank you for these. I've shown and shared my love of the series to basically everyone I know who will suffer me at this point and going through your videos and watching your heartfelt reactions makes me feel that same rush as though I'm showing it to a good friend for the first time who is equally excited about it as I am. Thank you for that, really.
"Tea pot douchebag" that's freakin hilarious. I love that!😂🤣
You have to give credit to the composer of the music without vegetas sacrifice theme playing it would be so much more different
You know in Japan, they hate the fact that this version has music playing through the entire episode. Honestly I prefer it because I can't stand the quiet moments. Seems dull and boring. The music makes you feel the environment and the emotions.
Enste Tapia exactly. Japan just does it differently (weirdly)
DBZ is easily the best Anime of all time. For sure the most influential.
React to Vegeta attacking beerus when he slapped Bulma💀
MY BULMA!!!!!!!!
Trash
Patrick St.Hilaire stfu bro
Why Beerus great Lord Beerus why? 😂😂😂😂😂
Domestic violence is always funne
I’ve seen this so many times and i still teared up
Ezra Morrison man me too
Same here
Same here. 😢
Me too.
Same
That video still makes me cry
“Oh well so be it” that’s my favorite quote from Vegeta
Piccolo- You’ll die... you know that.
Vegeta- ..........
The tears!
MAN this scene is so amazing even years later. If you're looking into emotional transitions and honorable shows like in this moment, I highly recommend Hunter x Hunter (2011), its a masterpiece by the end.
I've always wanted to get into HxH but the whole, always on hiatus thing prevents me from really wanting to get into it
Not saying it's a bad show or series, hell I really enjoyed YuYuHakusho and since it's the same creator I assume i'd like HxH but yeh, it's a shame he doesn't just power through it and finish the damn series in a proper manner.
I love Hunter x Hunter!!! Dragonball is good too but I hate that Vegeta never saves the day. Vegeta is the only reason I watch this because his time on the freeza saga was classic
But if u want a show with more emotions. U have to watch Naruto because they tell everybody story. It's a reason why they the way they are but Dragonball doesn't tell u the whole story. Go back to show Vegeta father and mother. Show how he growed up and bardock having Goku and Goku mother
Naruto better at this
Funny thing is, Buu is actually a lot more likeable if you learn the whole story. :) I wonder how TFS will handle this death scene. They usually are good at keeping serious undertones where they matter.
The Knutcracker lol
The Absolute Worst We probably won't see it at all. I heard they'll stop at Cell, and, considering how often they release the episodes, we'd see this scene in 2022 if they continue the series.
I wish a large Hollywood corporation would take on the Freiza/Cell/Buu Saga and give it the justice it deserves in a Movie format with a high budget. These series were truly ahead of its time.
Subbed for this video alone. Maybe its my tears, my feels the everything else but I need to subscribe to this channel. And what a badass moment this was. Vegeta is the MVP.
Only real man cry no matter what the reason is
Exactly men who don't cry are scientifically shown to have no emotion lol
Meaning if u don't cry it's abnormal :D
@@whogoncutdagrass41 Why I cry at the same time I realise normal is subjective.
In other word's normality is nothing more than opinion.
What one defines as normal is going to very from person to person.
Bruce Wayne You must be a blast at parties.
well done sir, I felt your energy on this one. well played I enjoyed this!
This scene always brings a tear to my eye even after seeing it 100 times. Its just too wholesome.
Dude i freaking love Vegeta ... Everyone mainly loves Goku i mean i do to but for some reason Vegeta is it ! 😎
Teresa Ms.FutureValtierrez Nowadays, it seems like the fandom is split between the two...
Vegeta is now my favorite character. And after the Tournament or Power arc, 17 moved up in rank lol even above Gohan
Bro I love vegeta so much that my profile pic is vegeta and my name is vegeta same
I love both Vegeta and Goku especially because of their bromance with each other but I think I like Vegeta bettwe just because of his development
carlos arias Yeah lol. Back in Z Goku beat Vegeta in the fandom by a landslide. But when Super came, the fandom is truly split. And it looks like Vegeta's winning.
most women love vegeta, especialy vegeta before he became nicer, most guys do so too, most humans just love boastfull loudmouths that are too full of themselves. only the pure of heart, are into goku more, his transition and drive, is just hard to comprehend for humans of today.
don't get me wrong, i even started to like freeza thanks to super, butgoku is where it's at for me,he's sonuanced in his simplicity.
he's the perfect example of being the flow to follow, like a leaf, falling to the floor, riding the winds of change, certain that it all falls in to place, and still being able to be such a goofball and yet so epic and deep at the same moment.
vegeta is just more for normys, goku is more for the people that are outsiders because of their respectfull and gentle nature.
vegeta is envy, goku is for the people are blind to envy.
