There really was a professional baseball team called the Atlanta Crackers. The late, great Ernie Harwell went from the Crackers to the New York Giants for a catcher. That catcher to this day is the only player ever traded for a broadcaster.

As a native american, the logo has never bothered me at all. actually none of the logos of any sports team depicting "indians" never bothered me. Its time to grow up.

ranger082469 I met an Indigenous person once and I remember she said that she had no issue with the name, but the logo and mascot name was offensive. “Wahoo” to Indigenous peoples is their version of the N word to African-Americans or Blacks(not sure which term is the correct one)
