    I really enjoyed comparing rules sets for the Bretonnia Arcane Journal so here's another one of these, looking at how the Tomb King lists match up when compared to previous versions of the rules. Once more I will be using highly technical SCIENCE!!! to break down the core elements and see how they stack up next to the 1999 film The Mummy!

    GW - send him the Orcs and Gobbos arcane journal, I want to see it reviewed this way! 🙂

    Very excited about playing my Tomb Kings - I've got 2000 points built and undercoated and some painted. Definitely playable! Let's book a game Ben!

    I’m so old school that any version of Tomb Kings is ‘new’ to me. Whatever happened to just simply Undead? The 4th edition Warhammer Armies Undead book will always be the best to me.

      Hard agree, that was the best book, but then tbf it was my first army book...

    The one thing I can never forgive or forget: no more mummies after 5th edition! Yes, Tomb Guard are TECHNICALLY in a similar space in terms of rules and background, but come on! The Mummies of old had multiple wounds, were tough as nails and packed a punch - and Ushabti are NOT the same.
    GW disagrees, obviously. ;_;

      They should bring mummies back, don't forget they only had movement 3.

    WAP had more units then 8th which had more units then arcane journal.

      What did you miss in the Arcane Journal? The TOW lists for Tomb Kings have much more proverbial meat to them than, except for special characters.

      @@darnokx9277 *8th* had Hiero Titan (Giant Mage)
      *WAP* had Hiero Titan (Giant Mage), Bastethi (Giant Cats like Giant Wolves), Ammut (Crocodile/Lion/Hippopotamus), Tomb Barque of Usirian (War Alter), Khemric Titan (Giant Bettle like the Arachnarok Spider but with no riders), Bone Thrower (Bolt Thrower from 5th)
