I am presently working on a first life human fighter soloing, I have been item deconstructing all junk loot since about level 9, I am almost level 21, crafting level 78 and almost 10000 cannith essences, it's nice getting platinum out of item deconstruction, I got almost 30,000 pp off 5 bags of junk loot yesterday. I love the crafting system on DDO, your videos have me excited to start crafting once I hit crafting level 100, other than that, your videos have helped me to figure out how I should reincarnate (Epic and Heroic) back to back once I get to level 30, I can't wait. Thank you for your videos they are very helpful!

There is a bug, when you have your dissolvers in your shared crafting storage. Then it doesn't give you any plat. So always have the dissolvers on your toon.
Best place for me to get junk loot is Saltmarsh Rares. Can do the run in 10 minutes now. Good chance for Sentient XP drops, too. Average essence value in epics seems to be about 50.
Cannith crafting is much needed now days to fill in the gaps in your gear because there is litteraly nothing in the House Deneith vendors, the market place vendors or the Platinum auction house. Most of the gear ends up in the Astral shards AH. Why is the plat AH even around anymore? Because SS wants real money to give you Astral shards? Sure seems like it.
also, deconstructing your looted gear in the begining is a double edged sword. If you deconstruct everything you have very little plat to buy any thing, so be careful.
hey Yoda, my Paladin picked up a level 30 sentient staff that I will never use , its bond to account.....is there a way to unbind it so I can sell it otherwise its getting fed to my sword, thanks

I believe you mentioned that these items you deconstructed were all at or around level 30. You also mentioned that at lower levels you'd just vendor your junk loot rather than deconstruct it. At what level would you recommend making the switch from vendoring junk loot to deconstructing it? Is there a known formula for how much essence and/or plat you get based on the level of the item?
Hey Dan, if essences are a priority then you can deconstruct everything at every level. Once you achieve your crafting level goal, there isn't a need for large amounts of essences for personal use so at that point it's whatever is your priority. For example I have plenty of essences in the bank right now and I'm going through plat pretty quickly, so I've been selling junk loot on my haggle bard at the brokers for big plat. But I don't bother to save loot for selling on the bard until about level 15. Prior to that I just vendor trash it. Hope that helps. farm the fey explorer zone, the rares all have set locations. easy lvl 30 gear decons to 30 - 40 essences

Can someone tell me how to craft a ml 34 item. I see that is available in the crafter but cant figure out how. Best I can craft is a ml 30 shard

Feywild is level 6 gear then Ravenloft then Sharn....Cannith crafting is obsolete and needs a serious pass
@Dennis Rue exactly in fact i forgot about that...heck by the time u get those rare ingredients you could have THOROUGHLY farmed for gear
That's why you use it to fill gaps, rather than to create a whole gearset.
