Just ordered a 6a last night in that sage color. After trading in my old 5a, all I had to pay was $20 with taxes. Getting this great phone for so cheap makes it an excellent value. Which is why buying on the Black Friday sale is the perfect timing. Loved my first 6a so much over the 7 for battery life. Gave my first one to my brother and glad to be getting it again. Unless you care about having the absolute best specs, for $299 on sale this is the best Android device right now in my opinion.
I did the same, I upgraded and noticed somewhat different if not lesser picture quality in some situations, but its still a good sacrifice, the CPU is really strong compared to the WhatsApp freezing 5a CPU. But heck, I can now record more than 1 min 4k videos without the phone telling me "Device overheat, stopped recording".

nothing phone 1 vs oneplus nord 2t vs pixel 6a vs galaxy a53 vs poco x4 ? I would choose maybe form samsung and google for the symbiosis between samsung devices (Buds Pro if I buy on future) and Google like google chromecast, google nest audio... what should I choose ?
I remember this phone getting a lot of banter on release, after people got used to cons (lesser battery life compared to 5a, no audio jack, etc), its a really great phone (and actually superior to the 5a, I mean it has 80% CPU improvement and 370% GPU improvement...).
Each time I use the 6a in university, someone stops and tells me "That's a great looking phone, which brand is it?" or "Wow that's the best camera I've seen, how come I never knew about it", and its something I totally unexpected when upgrading, many people actually like the design of it, externally and internally its really a beautiful phone (although the UI can sometimes look effortless). Also, my brother which he owns the Pixel 6 but isn't so happy about it, quite actually like the 6a, says its affordable, a lot lighter and it has a really comfortable form factor.
Fingerprint sucks tho, Its unresponsive and I hate it, but its in a comfortable position.

Nowadays and I'm starting to watch the mid tier to Smaller CZcams reviews for reviews because the bigger youtubers have become out of touch with tech it's like they not really appreciative of tech anymore they want everything at every price point that's not how things work we all know that ... I don't even w a them anymore,can't get upset anymore they are bored with tech now lol, what can I say they are not gonna say it

I just got a google pixel 6a a few weeks ago , and its still a really good phone !!! I came from a samsung galaxy s23 ultra and never realized how much i missed a smaller phone until i got this one lol , battery lasts forever , doesnt crash , doesnt over heat , its a pretty decent phone!

switched from iPhone 12 mini, pixel allows me to do way more than iOS ever could, the battery last me easily 20 hours at full brightness, I use my phone all the time never lags and the fingerprint is spot on

One of the biggest problems with the Pixel 6a is that it is rated against its big brother and in that sense it will obviously look inferior

I have this phone. I LOVE IT.
My most favorite things about this phone:
-The vibration motor (feels premium like Apple taptic motor)
-Phone size is smaller than most bigger phones
-Display is nice and vibrant
-Great performance from Tensor chip and very optimized OS
One thing I absolutely despise about this phone:
-The damn charging speed. Takes FOREVER to charge this phone.
Got this phone this weekend and I agree with the charging speed. Coming from a OnePlus Nord 2 with ridiculous charging speed, I cannot believe how slow this thing charges. The battery isn't as good for me too. Oh well, guess we can't have it all.
I'd get the A53. It has what this one doesn't.

Yes it is my gadget match. I love the size and I don't care about 120hz anyways. I always use my phones on 60hz and FHD even if they have 120hz and QHD. That's because I don't notice any difference between them since I don't scroll my screen down so fast to exceed the 60hz. If I'm going through a webpage I'm not running through it, I'm going down slowly reading in which case I might only be using 40hz. I don't know who uses his phone at 120hz speed.
I have pixel and iPhone se 2022 I prefer both lol

Almost, they should've made it with 90Hz refresh rate.
Then it would just be the same phone as the 6. It's a lower tier for a reason.
@@LetsRideIllinois the older camera sensor, the plastic back, the lack of wireless charging and smaller screen size would beg to differ. Just adding a 90hz panel wouldn't put a huge dent on the remaining number of differences present between the 6 and the 6a.

@@sergebureau2225 I thought about getting the Galaxy a53 but I went to Best buy and played with it for quite a while and it can be laggy at times it's not bad but you can definitely tell it's a lower class processor and so if having lag doesn't bother you then yeah get the a53
@@jejunamja I am getting it next tuesday, I definitely prefer the A53, lag is very subjective. I have used one for testing, and I do not see any lagging.
