Google Pixel 6A Full In-Depth Review! In this video, we discuss everything you need to know about Google Pixel 6A and if this is the phone for you! Share your thoughts, questions, comments, concerns, and enjoy the video :)
Are you going to review OnePlus 10t?
The Google pixel six is the best android phone, I would recommend it to anyone who likes android. i’m glad google took the iPhone approach of developing their own software and hardware. it really pays off for them
Agreed! The Tensor 2 chip will only make it better
Which phone do you have? Is it a Google pixel?
Galaxy S21U and S22U best overall phones in the world
Samsung is falling off a little bit, in my opinion.
@@123theprodigy5 why?
Hopefully August patch clears up a few bugs. I'm getting adaptive connectivity services crash after restart. I'm also getting market feedback agent crash too. Charging has been odd. You can't use a slow charger on this phone. I'm on the june patch, so I'll be patient. I do like a smaller phone. The pixel 6 was too bulky for 1 handed operation.
Thanks for your awesome review of the Pixel 6a. Most definitely I will purchase the Pixel 6a, great form factor, great performance and you are getting the essential Pixel experience at a reasonable price!! Well done Google!!
This device looks premium as well.
Awesome video. Job well done again.❤❤👍
I have always said this. Even as a huge Apple fan and even though I love the iPhone in particular I absolutely cannot deny how impressed I am with Google and their whole Pixel 6 line. It baffles me how underrated it is when it was done so well. I’m eager to watch the reviews of the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro when those launch. My favorite part of Google’s Pixel is the OS that sweet simple straight forward stock Android experience. If I had to go back to using an Android as my daily driver it would be a Pixel 6 Pro. Hands down. Anyhow and rant lol
Same. iOS user but love some of the pixel features. I bought a pixel 4a last year, mint condition for $200. Google gave me $300 n pixel buds to trade it for the 6a. I couldn’t pass it up for $150. Great back up phone. The speech recognition/dictation is mind blowing. Gonna get 13 mini next month for hopefully -$100. This way I could have both phones for $750 ($779).
I hope the Pixel 7 is great out the box without the need for all those updates to stabilize the issues. I was shocked it had issues for pure Android.
Great video Nick I have pixel 6a on Android 13 it's a charm . picture wise can't tell the difference between the 6 and the pro that's just what it ain't no at price range and some above can beat it
Everytime I watch your videos it makes me change my mind on which phone to pick! ok iphone 13 mini first choice and pixel 6a second choice! Or you have something to tell me? Nice as usual!
Cloud definition on the pics is sensational, absolutely no blowout.
I was so determined to buy iPhone 13 mini , but since the release of pixel 6a , I'm loving this phone more than the mini. Waiting for your comparison between the two.
You doing great nick. Kudos 🎉
The 13 mini is far superior and a technical marvel.
I even think the price is justified unlike any other high end phone.
Though if you're low on cash, the 6a is the best budget device
@@thetechrealist how much storage do you get at the base price
@@thetechrealist far superior? on what? both 60hz screen, comparable camera, both flagship chip, same battery life, long term software support,
Same here brother. I took 6a as soon as it came out and I don't regret one thing about this phone
@@kevinb8546 If you can't see why the 13 mini is more valuable then idk what to tell you.
Hi nick, how does this phone compare with the Samsung a52s 5g? Thanks
I really enjoy your reviews!!
Thanks John! Appreciate it, plan to make many more this year!
Thanks Nick for this awesome video! I have a 6a myself since a few days, and I really love it! It works really well! I installed Android 13 beta 4.1 which is even better in my opinion at the moment! Greetings!
Awesome how is the 13 Beta going for you? I plan to wait for the official!
Fantastic phone for the price. Thanks for the review 🙂
You should definitely try out the Android 13 beta, you'd amazed at how much more smoother and responsive everything is on it, it makes Android 12 look beta
I just returned The Pixel 6a and I am going back to the 4a. I had connection issues and had to reset the phone multiple times a day. I did not at the same places (work) with the 4a. The in screen fingerprint scanner is terrible. It's slow and doesn't always recognize my fingerprint. The fingerprint scanner on the back of the 4a is great and instantly unlocked my phone plus I can pull down the notification menu with the scanner in back of the 4a , such a nice feature that is gone with the in screen scanner on the 6a. It doesn't seem faster on anything that my 4a did great, streaming video, games, music, on my 4G LTE network. Picture quality is also not worth being as FRUSTRATED as I was multiple times a day with the fingerprint scanner and the connection issues. The 4a takes great pics anyway. This phone is not worth the upgrade from a Pixel 4a. I don't recommend it at all. I will look for another phone but for now the 4a is great. So disappointed
Honestly I didn't know that this phone was out.
I was looking for the Pixel 6 standard edition but saw 6a and decided that it was an upgrade from my Galaxy A21s.
I'm saving up for it and the pixel Buds.
Does this phone support mmwave or cband 5g?
Nick, how much time you expend with a phone as your main device to make a review?
Initially a week or so, but I continue using it well after to provide updates as time goes on throughout the year to provide information if things changed from my initial video review.
Is the Laforge visor gorilla glass or plastic?
Looking great 😍😍
My 6a was taking photos at 12.2MP, now it's 9.1MP. Don't know what happened.
Love the pixel series
Awesome! Same here!
Great phone!I think you should compare it to a53 or a73
Yes 100% or some of the the poco or redmi phones
Neither can beat it other than 120hrz a53 and the a73 can't beat either why compare when its better than both to thats facts
Which would you recommend between the pixel 6a and Samsung a52s 5g. Thanks
After using both the 6A for sure due to much better performance and better overall software support.
I got the 6a at launch. I have tried to unlock it with unprogramed fingers and it never unlocked. Love it so far!
How long does it take to fully charge? The 18watts charging is the only thing I don't like here
It says 75% will take 90 mins I don't think it is fast charging right now as I am using a USB tower
I love when videos are partioned
I love watching things I can't afford :_>
Great photos, Nick! I'm in the Chicago area, too, and I love it here.
The only thing I've heard is that the fingerprint sensor & software can unlock the phone with prints that aren't even registered with it.
Also heard that the phone was originally released with software from like *April* 2022, which is kind of weird. Might be all up-to-date for all I know now. Looks like a *great* phone for the money, that's for sure!!
Lol
I'm really considering coppin this, I'm currently using the first OnePlus Nord which I have zero problems with but I love the look of this pixel. My only concern is the 60hz, has anyone had any lag when you throttle the phone? Thanks
No lag, is it slower refresh than 120hz yes. But it’s kind of like a iPhone 12 which is to say fast and efficient everyday even with a 60hz panel
You're going to love using a Pixel phone, especially the Google Assistant features which only have on Pixels. I'm still happily using my Pixel 4 😁.
No
what about the overheating issue whatever you do?
No overheating in my experience
Love my 6a
I wish mine would just come in . Crazy Amazon says it looks like my order is LOST after paying for it over a week ago . Now to deal with them , geepers !!! ,,,,,Just send me my phone please .
So it's like the s21 fe line up...
Just turn off animations and it will be super fast
id so love to get this .. but they dont sell it here
Where is that? I know they are trying to expand to more places
@@nickackermanchannel serbia in my case but i believe the whole former so called eastern block dont have pixels ..and i have no idea why
I'm surprised Nick didn't say anything about the white background on the display. It looks whitewashed almost like the iPhone 11 on a white background. Especially the white background on Reddit
If apple doesn’t add a dedicated numbers row and aod to my 12 then I’m going back to android.
But great vid
Lol, seeing this phone and then your “iPhones that are fading” is kind of funny because those old iPhones are better than this phone. Crazy! They even have more features like wireless charging!
Um those iPhones are fading in iPhone market. This is not a comparable phone. This is more comparable to iPhone SE and Galaxy A53
I would never buy google hardware or services
To me, that's the price that all phones should be. People pay $1000+ for features they never use. Samsung and Apple have brainwashed us
Unfortunately that’s your opinion, that $1000+ on those phone worth it , just leave budget phones for people can’t afford best phones
I definitely use all my features
" I have to crank it to almost full brightness to not get full brightness"Huh?
First
Second
I Just bought it to try this phone . I already forgot my iPhone 13 pro max 😅 how? 😂
Maybe because it’s a really good phone 😃
It'd obnoxious what Apple offers on the SE. Old recycled tech at a high price. It should be 200 not 400. Lol
