I got a pixel 6 on sale and after watching videos about this phone I'm happy I did but cool phone still
Iâm also loving the Sage color, Iâm glad to finally see it in a video. Most videos Iâve seen have the other two colors.
Im looking forward to the pixel 6a review and I love how thorough your reviews are when I'm curious about a phone you're my go to guy!!
This is hands down the best tech channel on CZcams!
Iâm getting really tired of him knocking the home button iPhones, other than that itâs fine
@@RJtoon1 theyâre old and he still reviews them with ios 16 and stuff, compared to the competition Apple is embarrassing themselves with the design of the SE despite the boss performance
Great video as always nickđ
Hey Nick! I was looking for reviews for the 6a and you were the 2nd result...we used to work together. Crazy to see how much progress you've made, keep it up!
I have no words, however, I can say that this is an awesome phone as wellâ€đ
Most of all, the cinematography is at its finest. I appreciate the hard work everđ
Love your videos and your voice
Your videos are always insane...đ„°đ„°đ„°
Tysm, did everything as described
I Always enjoy watching your videos nick bro đđ»â€ïž
Thanks bro! Glad you enjoy them! Let me know if there is anything I can improve!
Currently rocking a Pixel 6 and I love it. Personally feel like it's the best bang for your buck in the market right now.
When are you doing Oppo Reno 8 and 8pro?
Great color đ
I just brought the Google pixel 6a yesterday. So far loving it. â€
Pixel 5 owner, I'm getting the 6a because of the smaller size. 300 trade-in makes the phone 150 bucks plus free earbuds. As always, excellent video. đ
Plus it has the tensor top of line chipset
I dont have a phone to trade in
@@Native722 weâll just buy the phone brand new itâs 449 dlls any where
@@Native722 ok, but you still get free earbuds.
Exactly the same for me. Google gave me 310$ pour my Pixel 5 !! Can't wait to receive my new Pixel 6a đđđ
I saw u today in chicago u live in chickago?
Upgrading from my 4A. Getting $300 trade in credit for my 4A. I'm very happy to be getting a brand new 6a and pixel buds a for $150. Preordered on day 1. Can't wait to get it in hand!
Love those blury wallpapers that come with it! Canât believe the 6 Pro doesnât have them natively. Thatâs one thing I hate about Google giving cheaper phones better things sometimes that to their own âflagshipâ
wonder how does this pixel 6a compares to galaxy a73? a73 processor seem adequately fast
I have the Pixel 6. I love having wireless charging and I love having 256gb . I love the Pixel premium lineup. The budget 6a would make a great backup but I love my 6
You can easily add wireless charging on the Pixel 6a. Amazon sells a USB-C wireless charging tag that you will plug into the Pixel 6a USB-C port, then lay down the charging tag on the back of the Pixel 6a. Cover the Pixel 6a with a case, and now you have wireless charging on the Pixel 6a.
@@sgodsellify I also like having 256gb
@@melissakautz9687 I like having 512GB of storage. Only reason I bought a Pixel 6 Pro
@@anthonywilliams9415 I was only able to afford 256gb.
Cool phone.
The only downfall to this phone is its 60hrz screen. After using 90hz and higher it literally hurts my eyes going back.
It's really for someone coming from an older 60hz phone. They probably also did this to make people buy the 6 or 6 pro if they want higher refresh rates. If it had 90hz it also could have been a weaker CPU.
Love this review! In what country is the phone made in?
Quick update! Made in Vietnam đ»đł!!! đ đđ»
So would you recommend the main pixel 6 line or the 6a
get the pixel 6.
Nice form factor. But unfortunately they cut too many conrers to differentiate it main lineup. Screen should be better. Also, 18W charing is under the par. Not having a headphone jack isn't too much trouble than having no option for bigger storage or sporting a memory card slot.
60Hz is the trade off here!!
Nick u could do a android 13 6a review and do a 7 vs 6a ...
What's that background music
if you trade in your device to google, do u have to give a them the charger?
i donât think so,usually when you trade in,you just send the phone to the company

Hey Nick, I am currently daily driving a OnePlus 8. What phone would you recommend for upgrading or which phones should I wait for before upgrading? Or do you think the OnePlus 8 is fine for a while?
The true galaxy a53 killer...
Only in USA ? đ§ Here in Asia you never find Google poxel
@@sterron8377 where are you in Asia. Cause I have seen Japanese people with pixels
@@sterron8377 i agree here no1 sells pixels
@@sterron8377 its expected
@@Truecrimeresearcher224 of course you order from third party sellers outside the country, but it's not worth it! It's not meant to work in my country! And I would never buy pixel phone, I hate Google Android! After Android 12, I never look back to Android again Google ruined the material design!
đđœđđœđđœ
The 60hz really hurts this phone especially with the Nothing phone 1 just released. If you want a pixel yes or yes I would pay a little more and definitely go for the Pixel 6.
Yes the Pixel 6 may be the bargain but with the trade in deals you can get this phone at a nice price
@@nickackermanchannel exactly!!! Google store offered me $84 trade in credit towards the pixel 6 but $300 towards the 6a AND free buds A. No brainer for me. Would I rather have had the 6? Of course. BUT with that trade in deal it really was a no brainer!
Wouldn't it make more sense to compare to the Pixel 6 instead of the 6 Pro?
would u recommend this or a refurbed iphone 11 pro / pro max? cheerw
Probably iPhone. This is a budget version of the main pixel 6 line
i'm just curious đbut why an iphone ? đ§
@@iAfroTech because iPhones are the best with the most powerful chips in the market

Can you do more iphone 12 videos
Will consider them thank you for sharing!
Doesnât look choppy to me
I'm sure its billion times better than iPhone SE
Or a iphone 7
Hold up did you say Google pixel phones get five years of software support are you trying to make me switch teams lol
3/5
@@Native722 3 years of android updates and 5 years of security patches
I got the a53, loved it but performance was kinda decent. Stutters here and there yk. But the pixel 6a has a flagship chip with on par performance with the snapdrag 888, it would have been the better option. But the cameras, display and battery life is why the a53 still wins imo. In conclusion, google was almost there when it comes to making the perfect midranger. All they need to do is bump up the display smoothness and a better battery life.
Stuttering is why is the reason why im staying away from a53
The tensor isn't on par with 888. It's realistically closer to an 855
@@ILoveGrilledCheese thx
Camera isnt any better than the pixel 6a lololol.. What were u smoking, want someđđ
Of course 120 hz is going to be smoother than 60 hz. Google did a goid job of not cannibalize itself
I'm gonna put my Sim in here, I saw what you did there Nick. Don't put your seam en there please!
Why does T-Mobile not carry this phoneđ€?
T-Mobile is carrying the 6a. Check their website again.
It's nt a phone to buy in 2022 It's for 2020 xD
No not for me Iâll stay with my iPhone 13 pro max
That is awesome! It looks nice for a budget smart phone but nothing beats iOS. Apple has better software compared to android. I use android tablets at work and although they work great for the software we use at work, the android experience does not compare to iOS. Accessibility on iOS is a lot better than android. For people who are visually impaired, you should always stick with iOS.
@@Trevor274 Nothing beats the fluidity of iOS. Palm WebOS came close
@@cmorichie7202 that'll change in due time as Google continues to perfect their brand new tensor chip. Apple has been perfecting their own in house chip since 2010 for crying out loud. So the iPhone is understandably more efficient and fluid right now.
I disagree, I think Android is better than iOS due to having more customization and multitasking features. As someone who is also visually impaired, Android has come a long way in terms of accessibility features. iOS still has some of the best accessibility features, but we have to give credit to Google for improving theirs. Also, I like that TalkBack gives you more control when navigating the phone.
That's simply not true.
Very self opinionated comment. IOS to me is a dumpster fire
I keep buying all these android phones and none of them are quick or respond fast I'm always having lagging and buffering problems even though the phones are pretty quick and soft performance but not even 10 to 20 minutes I'm always having lagging and buffering problems I hope these companies use more than 120 hertz refresh rate or make their devices faster
Well what phones are you buying?
just another troll. đ
What android smartphone are you buying ?đ€š
Don't assume what my intentions are. It was just a question.
What phones are you talking about? I'm currently running 13 beta and my phone is super smooth.
