I have run into Paul Rogers several times as he lives in Vancouver and I think maybe 2 km from me, the first couple of times I saw him at the urban fair sort of bar opera and grocery store I knew it was him but I didn’t approach him. Then after seeing him a few more times I saw him and all cautiously walked up to him and said your Paul Rogers from bad company, he ended up being a super nice personable guy I was blown away. Now whenever I see him he says hi to me, it’s pretty awesome is a really cool guy I wish more people like him. BTW he really likes organic fruits and vegetables, I think that’s the only thing I’ve ever seen him having his basket #FunFact

I’ve watched a ton of your videos Fil and they are awesome and I thank you so much for your commentary and for bringing to life some of these perhaps forgotten acts.
I have posted comments previously but I’ve never have told anyone that my uncle what got little Mt sound studio and mushroom records in Vancouver, when I was young I had an opportunity to meet Aerosmith when they were up doing I believe it was get a grip, I met Bon Jovi only on their career as they recorded slippery when wet at the studios, I met the cultivated sonic trample also in Vancouver, Bryan Adams, Sarah McGlocklin, Bif Naked, Michael Bublé. I’ve had the honour to meet, Vancouver believe it or not is a great place for music, it was better when the studios were around but, it still has a lot of very famous people here as it is the third most popular place in North America for film and TV shows, I have friends in that industry but I own 2 cannabis dispensaries So of course I know Seth Rogen Who has been in my shops numerous times, Ryan Reynolds has stopped by but I’m not really going to get into what they do you say or anything like that, keep making these awesome videos it’s very important that Millennials have people like you explaining what real musicianship and talent is

Fil, in 1975 or 6 haha, we drove 12 straight hours from to Cincinnati Riverfront Coliseum to see: get this: Bad Company then Lynyrd Skynyrd, then freaking Santana. Slept in a truck bed then drove 12 hours home. Skynyrd stole the show by a mile. I think it cost $10

Howard Leese was let go by the Wilson sisters (Heart). Howard left Heart in 1998. Then joined The Paul Rodgers Band in 1998.
Original bass player "Boz" Burrell left after the Original Bad Company split up after 1982's *Rough Diamonds* album following it's released. Rejoined in 1998 with Rodgers (Kirke & Ralph's Bad Company) to record 4 new songs (Anthology album) & a short tour. Left for good in 1999. Boz died in 2006. Bad Company (Hard Rock Live album) dedicated the song *"Gone, Gone, Gone"* (written by Burrell) to *"Boz" Burrell.*

I always loved Paul Rogers voice. Unlike a lot of singers his age, he's managed to keep the power in his voice.

@@mitchellweiner4990 Freddie was amazing and there’s no questioning that. But... Give me Paul Rodgers’ soul, power and grit all day long over Freddie. In my opinion Freddie was a little too theatrical for me.

What a great rock and roll band they were. Their debut album is considered one of the greatest debut lps in history. I put it on par with Boston's 1st. Always loved Paul's voice from Free right on through The Firm. He always made the music just a little more special and there was no other voice that you could confuse his with. You always knew when Paul Rogers was singing a song. Thanks as always for a great choice of music and the accompaning analysis Fil.
