That first story is deeply depressing, it looks like addiction has been passed down from mother to children, the daughter using cigarettes and the young boy microtransactions on Roblox. The sad thing is that Roblox knows that their demographic are children yet still include microtransactions causing severe headaches for parents.
I know! We had some problems with my sister and her Roblox account. Nothing too major, as it turns out, but itâs always really sad when games exploit children. What always gets to me is the fact that the children need to see some of their favorite past-time and/or escape taken from them without actually understanding why (I do have a soft spot for kids and seeing them sad always makes me sad in return)
Also I actually believe that the kid in the first story is not too much at fault, heâs 8 and has some cognitive problems and a rough life. Of course he shouldnât behave like that, but unfortunately we can see that this family has been abandoned by the welfare and their country.
They are making it harder for younger kids to accidentally buy robux, so luckily Roblox is working on stopping this.
@@Locked101 well that's accidently, there are stories of kids stealing credit cards from parents or trying to get their own credit cards for Robux. So hopefully Roblox can address these issues.
Agreed. Just imagine how frustrating it would be to find out that money was taken from your card because your kid wanted Robux. Buying Robux without permission from a parent/guardian violates the Roblox Terms of Service and could result in your account being terminated. I never really bought Robux in this entire 5 years that I've been on this platform and I still have my sanity intact. The kid in the first story though...

Sidenote: the person who made the first post edited it after it was featured. Here's what the edit said:
"Well shit, this post ended up being featured in r/ slash. I've been brought to reddit by his videos, so it's quite the surprised to be noticed by him. Although, I'm not sure I really like the amount of attention this is getting, as I fear people will take this too seriously and get hostile/harmful. I feel like I might need to make a few points, so here it goes:
First, please do keep in mind that this was written in the heat of the moment. The incident had just happened and I was frustrated and angry, thus emphasizing the bad traits of the kid. He's a little demon, sure, but only during his outbursts. As bad as those may sound, they're getting less and less frequent, thanks to the medication and the professionals who take care of him. They may sound rather violent through my words, because it's how they seem to me, but no one got really hurt. In the past, his behavior was way worse, and had it remained the same by now, I don't think I'd be sane.
What I mean to say is, sure, the outbursts are awful. But they're just tantrums thrown by a disabled kid. He does not need to be thrown in an asylum, and he does not need to be put up for adoption. Even if things do get hard sometimes, he's a good kid, and is really trying his best. Most of you know relationships between siblings aren't the easiest ones. Despite my words, I truly do believe he's doing great, and that he'll get better very soon.
He has a treatment, which does fit his needs, and he makes efforts. My mother and I do our best to help him, and he is getting better. In the end, those outbursts hurt him the most, as he isn't in control of himself when they do happen. Just imagine how painful that must be, for a kid his age.
All I'm saying here, is, please don't take my words as facts. I'm a 17 year old kid with her own struggles and with a lot of bullshit to deal on the side. The kid is a little boy who only wants to get better and who's trying his best. His outbursts haven't resulted in more than a scratch, and that happened a few years ago. When I say that he's getting better, he truly is.
As for the financial situation, we're handling it pretty well so far. We're eating, I can afford to take the bus and go to school, we can afford to take the kid to the doctors, and my mom is trying to get rid of her addictions. The smoking and drinking are indeed quite expensive, but we're trying to manage them, and they won't be a problem for long.
I won't edit the entire text, but please do take this edit seriously. I was just pissed, and despite how hard things can be with him, I still love my brother with all my heart. We're all doing our best to support him and it is working so far.
Last, I'd like everyone to consider this as someone testifying to the hardships of the life with a disabled kid. He isn't a threat to my life, nor is he a threat to anyone else's. As you can see, we control the situation, and will keep doing so, even if it takes jiu-jitsu training. This isn't a cry for help, just an annoyed teenager who's tired of this shit.
Thank you for reading this, and be kind to everyone, even kids who throw demon-level tantrums over Roblox coins. I promise everyone, including myself and the kid, will be fine, and that everything is under control, thanks to the medical staff and awesome treatments they're providing. There's a lot of improvement to make, but once we get there, I'll be sure to tell you all. Have a good day!"

For the last story; I had something similar to this. I was letting my little hedgehog, Hazel, meet my family members and carefully allowed my aunt to hold her. I told her not to drop her or freak out.
Long story short she dropped my baby :(
Hazel was alright, and didnât fall from a very big distance. I even checked her to make sure nothing was broken. Thank goodness she rolled up in a ball just in time. Iâm still mad at my aunt for not being calm when my hedgehog spiked her, but I guess it wasnât her fault since it caught her off guard. But still, somehow my baby ended up on the floor. My aunt laughed at it and so did my cousins, but they didnât understand that my hedgehog couldâve gotten hurt.
That last story - I actually learned not to touch hedgehogs from a Roald Dahl poem about a porcupine. Applying it to a hedgehog is all too easy. It's about a little girl who buys some chocolates with her pocket money, goes to find a nice place to sit and accidentally ends up on top of a porcupine, getting all the spikes stuck on her and having to get a dentist to pull them out. He is a part of the "Give me money" stereotypes, so in a sense, yes. Oh, and Roblox is for people of all ages, but mostly for kids. And, they banned Pewdiepie for swearing on stream, not in the game, he didn't do a filter bypass, no. He just said a swear word on stream, and boom, instant ban. And for the peeps wondering about Roblox's moderation, it's as bad as CZcams's moderation. Trust me, they will ban people for a link on a google image to 3D-model some cookies on a plate, something HE couldn't control, yet they won't ban people who exploit, put 18+ content in it, filter bypass, etc. You get the point. And at least they are good stereotypes. But then there are Hat Stereotypes. The Valkyrie hats are a sad one, Good hat, worn by snobby people. Dominus hats, for the much expensive ones, (which mind you, some of the cheapest Dominus' are more then 1M Robux) are generally chill people. They know they have the most expensive item on roblox, and (MOST of the time, mind you, MOST) they won't flex it. But for the less expensive ones, they are the usual Douche. If I had a younger sibling that played ROBLOX and they attempted to stab me with anything over robux, I wouldn't even warn him once. I would delete his ROBLOX account without a second thought and tell him straight that I will not allow him to play it ever again.
Someone's law: an idea (in this case a game) is not responsible for its followers actions
12:58 to answer that question: hell no. Normal people usually bypass the chat with curse words and crap like that but they don't try to murder people, jesus christ. There's also a thing called 'premium' on Roblox, and if you get it, you get monthly robux. I'm a premium member, and I get 450 robux per month just for being a member. The cheapest option is like 5$ per month I believe. I'd say the closest thing you get to this kid are the people on Ninja Legends pretending to be disabled so you'll give them stuff.
I got ban >:( . By my dad when I was 11
@@emraldarrowgacha2436 How? Did you use a parent's credit card or something?
No my dad used to get really angry if someone called me a noon so really it was a defense more than a ban. Then earlier this year my girlfriend accidentally deleted my account because she thought it was a alternate account.
*noob* I have a auto-fix on
I dont have premium.

I hope she gets well

jurek and his 3 kittens maybe they didnât drink alcohol or smoke yet
At aleast she didnt murder her child which means she doesnt drink too much
For neurodivergent child (especially ones with that many afflictions) it is very easy for them to develop obsessions and addictions that totally cloud their judgement.
Its very likely that he has the knowledge that it is irrational to expect his poor family to buy robux, but his emotional regulation isnât consistently strong enough to allow him the time to rationalize that.
In the murder kid story: you should do like my dad. It's not the best method, but it beats down the entitledment. Lock the kid in his room and tell him if he's gonna act like a criminal he's gonna be treated as such. Don't let him out until he himself has cleaned his room and feed him on sandwich and water basis. Worked for me.
I have ADHD, OCD, Tourette's, and Autism
Yeah I was a hellion at times too. Mind, my Tourette's is more physical, so at least there wasn't the swearing. But yeah, the fits are nasty
EDIT: Yeah, even the "I WANT TO KILL HER" part. It's like... You lose all control and go into a more feral state, screeching and such. I'm amazed he actually had the energy TO have back to back fits, those fits wear you out. I hope for his sake he gets those under control, people will be less tolerant when he gets older
Sounds to me like he might need professional help to learn how to deal with things. It is nothing wrong with needing help after all.
adhd add autism and depression.
I don't even mind having the first 3 I don't notice my parent don't notice but the 4th would trade that one. My grandma grandpa and father all are a bit of. Gues where my sister and I got our autism.

the first story made me happy because I like how people are still playing tf2
I have ADHD, OCD, Autism, Anxiety/depression, Tourettes and PTSD. The thing is I'm so good at hiding my issues that nobody ever knows until I tell them. This kid makes people with mental health issues (especially people on the spectrum) look really bad. He almost makes me ashamed that I share the same community with him.
âRemember, heâs 8 but he has Touretteâsâ Thatâs not how Touretteâs works. It doesnât make you more likely to use swear words in every day language; it makes you involuntarily say or do something randomly. Having Touretteâs does not explain or excuse him telling his mother to fuck off or calling his grandparents cunts in this conversation because he did it on purpose.
I thought this as well. Tourettes doesnât make you automatically swear more. It sometimes does but it causes random âticsâ. It kinda annoys me when some says âthey have Touretteâs so itâs okâ. Although. If they canât help it. Fair enough, it is difficult.
The boy may have been using his tourettes as an excuse a lot, which made OP think that it was like that
It would have been random indeed. So either it happened to have Very On Point timing. or he learned the words from someone else. Maybe the narrator or their mother. a very Sudden explosion of it Could be linked to Asperger's, But its not likely (trust me, i know. I'd rather not get into it)
I think he may have learned the behavior from somewhere.
but, if i am being honest?
i think he learned it from watching a kid at school with their parent
thatâs what ADHD does
Lol i have a friend who does have Touretts's his thing is a sort of sharp short inhale. He admitted to me a few years back that, from grade 3-5 he would randomly swear in class after he found out some people with touretts swear and he thought it was hilarious.
yea if he came charging at me with a knife, Tourettes or not, he ain't gon remember his name

*R O B U X*
I have ADHD and Asperger's. After that attack by the kid DO NOT LET HIM GO TO THE COMPUTER, you just awarded that behavior by doing so. You need to teach him that things will get worse and not just end in my opinion. Also it seems to me that the people of Roblox is somehow influencing this behavior (even if they don't mean to) so no more of that game until he's able to better make his own decisions (a few years at least).
When I was a kid I would always test out the limits of other people and usually stop when I found out things would get very bad for me.
The boy is also on anti-psychotic meds, I'd say he needs to be re-evaluated as while they can (barely apparently) physically control him currently they won't be able to for long and he is clearly dangerous in his rages.
I donât temper having fits of this severity (fits sure ,but not....actual murder attempts) ,but yeah good point there
outright banning things is very rarely an effective measure, it just makes kids get creative in hiding things. Temporarily preventing access on the other hand can be useful for showing that actions have consequences, though this case CLEARLY needs more than just that.
The mother clearly needs help because she's not exactly showing herself to be fantastic at handling the situation, the child 100% needs to be seeing a professional about this behaviour and the OP of the story needs to ensure she has a more effective safe space (potentially also try to offer a bit of support to the mum, but obviously with studying that can't be fully expected)
Ben Jiro .... Thatâs what I was thinking. I believe he may need to be at least doing some daytime visiting at a facility that can help him understand a few things mentally. I donât think it was a great idea to introduce him to games where he doesnât have the mental capabilities to understand that killing people he doesnât like in a game is not the same as killing people in real life.
Obviously the mother would have more money if she didnât drink or smoke cigarettes....but living in the hell like that I can imagine itâs the only way she stays sane and doesnât kill herself or walk out. I think OP is being very naĂŻve if she thinks that her brother is going to grasp an understanding of the fact that they are poor and donât have money...so he canât spend it in a computer game. I donât think heâs going to ever understand that fact. I donât think heâs mentally capable of understanding it. At least not until heâs much older and without some psychological help.
I also have Asperger's. When I grew up I had limited access to the computer or even game consoles (it was called privilege time, usually a couple hours a day on weekends), if I was bad I would lose that time, that is the kind of thing that helps kids learn.

There are 4 types of people I have ever seen on roblox: ones that play for fun, ones that play to win and assume that what fun is, and ones that canât play the game unless they have every advantage over everyone and brag to others about this superiority complex, and those that treat roblox like an esport without even knowing what esports are
Being an Aspie, I have to say that having access to the computer after this except after a serious cooling off period? Yeah, that's rewarding him. Autistic people, when they lose it, tend to revert to a temporary feral state. It's good for fight or flight situations, but nothing else.
Honestly the best thing to do is put that computer behind lock and key. Also, make sure he's not spending the robux on loot boxes. If he is, that is creating an addiction that needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY.
there isn't any lootboxes in roblox. It's a kids game not a gambling site lol

FanStoryVideoStudios I think itâs just a Stupid kid being a stupid kid
Honestly he sounds like a kid that's just too young to know better.
As the writer of the hedgehog story, I can confirm that he isnât as hellish as the other kids on this sub. He just wants what he wants when he wants it, as most kids do, but a little bit of discipline sets him straight.
Just a kid who doesn't understand consequences yet, and who doesn't understand that any sort of pet WOULDN'T want to be petted.
God knows my dogs don't care if they're sleeping or not if you decide to rub their bellies.
It's a Classic story of "dont touch the stove it's hot" "ow!" "Lesson learned? "
The story with the french girl and the entitled brother reminds me of a saying that was common when I was a kid. "That boy needs an ass whipping".
I really hope that kid from the first story grows up and looks back at all these problems he caused and is ashamed of why he did. Thatâs just unacceptable behavior.
Honestly considering all the things that first kid was diagnosed with I wouldnât call him entitled, heâs dealing with a lot of BS thatâs out of his control and in an environment that doesnât seem conducive to helping him properly deal. I feel bad for him and the sister hopefully things get better.

The game is well made, and the games are fun, but the fact that lots of the people asking for robux or dates ruin it.
@@rhi2496 honestly, if you get used to it, the game is pretty fun.
@@rhi2496 durpylegos. looked like he wasted robux, but found out it was all prize stuff.
My son used to regularly ask for Robux. I agreed to give him a limited small amount each month. He decided he wanted more so he started his own business. He makes 3D items for Roblox games and charges in game currency. He's 12 and has been doing this for 2 years. I stopped having to give him any money well over a year ago because he told me he had it covered. So yes wanting in game money is normal but being entitled about it clearly depends on the kid.
Honestly when I was young, I started to LOVE Roblox and been begging my mom to buy me robux.
1st She refused and I cried a lot
2nd She refused again and agued
3rd She refused and took away my laptop
