Adults who make child shock “humor” and family vlogger content targeted at kids will take on the cadence of how kids, like really little kids, talk. It’s incredibly creepy to me, partly bc you just know it’s an affect they can switch on and off. They don’t talk to other adults like that (with adults the gummy kid friendly filter gets dropped and how abusive and unhinged they are is usually more apparent.)
They mimic the way tiny children tell stories and get excited, kids are so hypersensitive to picking up on how adults around them are signaling they should react and feel (because they’re tiny people and they need that to survive. Fucked up to take advantage of that) and so if someone like Jake Paul adults can recognize as dangerous and full of shit, acts like a kid; where he screams and rambles about nonsense and makes cool big messes and bugs his eyes out like a cartoon- that’s gonna work on a percentage of kids, and it’s not their fault. The relationship adults like Jake Paul are creating parasocially with their baby fans aren’t appropriate imo. Shit like begging kids to “please look up to me” in a song, telling them to disavow school, his autobiography having shit in it like how sexy this grown ass man still thinks the girls he dated in middle school are...

well in one of his videos i think last month, there was literally a stripper dancing on his friend on a bed, with strobe lights, money being thrown, etc. he used to be for younger kids, but now it’s near r rated content but with humor for a child, so nobody should or will watch his videos😬 i’m surprised he even has views now.
Imagine how heart-breaking that would be as a child to see that your favorite content creator made some videos to show you how to be just like him, you ask for 7 bucks from your parents and get it, just to find out that you need to pay 57 dollars to even access the content. To a lot of people that's a lot of money. At the end of the day I can't imagine how many kids just got through that first screen.

I know this was three years ago, but you're incredibly correct. Shane's series wasn't meant to address and put to bed unrest surrounding Jake Paul-- it was to "redeem him" with half-assed "I was sad as a kid and now I'm a messed up adult. Also it's Logan's fault" apologies if you can even call it that. He did it with Jeffree and Tana, and even HIMSELF. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to find a serial killer and go "guys he's actually not bad see he didn't kill us! Don't arrest him ❤️❤️"
